    Thank you for doing this fun & very informative video. The bags you’ve selected are very beautiful & the fact that you mentioned the source of the straw caught my attention to a side which I never thought about when I think about purchasing a straw bag!
    Much appreciated 💕🌷

    These bags are beautiful options for summer. I also like the Olivia Basket and the Mini 709 (in raffia and canvas) from Fregoli for smaller bags.

    Hi Anesu, we must be on the same wavelength because not only have I been considering my next summer/raffia bag purchase, but I was thinking that I needed to find a way to drop some commentary about the Loro Piana Sesia to you (and was going to just attach it to your latest video despite it not about the Sesia!) 😂 I love your picks for summer bags... my favorites were the Valextra, the Metier, and definitely all of those by Maison NH Paris 😍This brand seems like a gem! I have been eyeing a couple from Celine that I like, but I haven't been able to reconcile paying upwards of 2,500 USD for a raffia bag that has some leather on it. Plus I'd rather not have one with a logo, despite loving the Celine Triomphe. Now, onto the Sesia. Based on your recommendation this last spring to check the outlets for this bag, I was traveling in California last week and realized that there is an LP outlet near San Francisco, so I made a point of going there (very few LP outlets in the US). I figured the probability of seeing a Sesia in a size/color combo that I might actually want was low. I was shocked to see that they had several versions of it, including medium and large sizes in the classic colors of black and tan. I found myself ill-prepared to make a decision on whether I actually wanted to spend the money in that moment. I ended up passing because the price in USD and for a discontinued style, IMO, was still quite high. Nearly 4,000 USD for the large size. I am torn about my decision. On top of that, the LP sales associate who I initially contacted about Sesia in the spring just texted me with pictures of the new bag that is coming out in the fall (pseudo replacement for Sesia)... and it's called the Loom. It seems to me like they are trying to compete with the Birkin and the Margaux as it sort of falls in that category. I haven't sat with this for long, but think I still prefer the Sesia. Thanks for another excellent video 😘

      Thank you. I’ve gone back to the Maison NH site a couple of times already.
      Loro Piana needs to stay in their lane and keep doing what they were doing so well. I liked the fact that their bags were different and really well made. They are now trying to fit in with everyone else, so annoying.
      I understand be patient and when the time is right you will find and buy your bag.
      I’m stalking the European outlets. I’m on the lookout for a medium navy Sesia- fingers crossed the universe has my back.

      @@SoAnesu Well said, they should stay in their lane. Hopefully the quality of LP remains in tact. A medium navy Sesia would be beautiful! I think that your chances are better overall in Europe. It seems like there are quite a lot of these bags listed for sale on the secondhand market, but would take some careful due diligence to feel ok about a purchase. I am kind of torn between getting a medium and a large. A case could be made for either. I also saw a size medium in a rich burgundy in the SF outlet - it's gorgeous in the richer colors done in smooth leather.

      @SoAnesu  Před měsícem

      @abbycatherine8135 I like the sound of burgundy but it has to be the textured leather for me. Smooth I’m very much of the opinion heritage leather or nothing else! 🤦🏾‍♀️

    Another great watch ❤ , your content never fails to deliver 🙏😎 I've been searching to see if you have a video on skincare , another big passion of mine . I'm a firm believer that using the right products really can make a big difference . Over the years I've tried nearly everything on the market , from Clarins and Clinique , to the latest Korean brands . My holy grails are B21 cream from Orlane , and the Prestige line from Dior ( whose butter like dream cream in it's chunky weighty glass jar makes La Mers offering feel like a cheap Nivea in comparison 😂) I would love to hear your recommendations and experiences , I know everyone's requirements can vary , but I'm sure there must be some brands on your radar ?! 🙏❤💋

    Longchamp has a few models in Raffia; do you recommend them? I haven thinking about them because they are different and at the same they say “ Longchamp “ because of the horse. One point to them is the fact that the store is in downtown while the others are in France and I would like to feel them. Same reason why I haven’t bought a Dragon Diffusion bag. Cheers from Florence.

    My personal opinion is that these “designer” basket bags are an awful ripoff!! I totally agree that there are so many beautiful ones from African countries. Many brands (such as Vanessa Bruno and Ibeliv) have there bags produced in Madagascar, but why pay for the brand name? I would not want a brand name plastered across anything that I wear! Massimo Dutti do reasonably priced ones and I carry my favourite one (bought a few years back) constantly! Local markets in Spain, France etc. sell great ones and it is really sad to flaunt a designer one!

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  Před 2 měsíci

      I agree with you but the designer ones are typically heavily marketed and hey presto that’s what people buy! We need to be more demanding with our money.
