    I'm two and a half years in. Brutal non stop cervicogenic tinnitus. I can't sleep without tablets. Wear a Bluetooth headband playing loud masking sounds 24/7. Feel ill constantly, with a constant spike and pray for death.

    You're going to laugh at this. I hope. when I get up and eat my breakfast I put your videos on my laptop in front of me and I listen to at least two of them. That sets me up for my day t o have no fear and giving it no importance. Gets me right on track to start my day. Positively life changing. Can't believe the difference Living Without fear makes.

    I don't think I have pulsatile tinnitus (like a pulsing drone?). I do have a very high pitched, bilateral metallic whine, all the time. The tinnitus was milder ten years ago, moderate now with spikes. Worried about brain inflammation in early stages. I wonder if near infrared might help or gamma light therapy? I do have mild carotid plaque on one side. Difficult to ascertain a cause let alone what might help. Tried hz frequency generators to mask the noise but not very effective. It is not a fix. I have very good hearing for a 70+ y.o. and very good bone conduction. As a kid I had incredible bionic hearing all the way into highs and lows. Could the the cause be micro ischemia in temporal lobes or cerebellum? Recently had a brain MRI and found possible, supratentorial chronic ischemia. Maybe that is the problem? Also have had yeast in ears and more than usual inner ear infections as a kid. TY for any replys. Downloading your PDF!

    Jack it's a wonderful video everything you say I'm so grateful but I wanted to ask you if you have ever experienced this episodes of tinnitus being sleep-related causing sleep to fluctuate it. Example you're fairly mild all day you watch TV you doze off and you awake with a start with raging tinnitus this can also happen in the middle of the night. You go to bed with fairly mild sounds can you wake up either in the morning or in the middle of the night with horrendous noise in your head I've never heard anyone mention this. I wondered if you had experienced it. There was a sleep study done in the UK related sleep to tinnitus. I just wanted to introduce this because I've watched hundreds of videos on tinnitus has anyone mentioned this. Thanks again for your honest video it's so helpful I watch it again and again when I get discouraged😊

      @thetinnituschannel Před 8 dny

      Hi 👍 I’m sorry your T got worse. The best thing to do is what you are already doing , which is stay calm. It gets better over time so try not to stress yourself too much. Try to keep doing things you love and keep busy. Give your ears a rest for a while by trying to reduce volumes you are exposed to. But most importantly stay calm. It will get easier . And no , you are not alone . stay strong 👍

    • @thetinnituschannel
      @thetinnituschannel Před 8 dny

      Hi. With me it happens over long periods of time, and by then I try to not focus on where my t was as opposed to where it is now. I think that’s really key. I think letting go of the baseline volume has helped me alot .

    crisis at 73 a viral infection congestion displaced my eardrum a construction site in my head weeks on and finally an ENT in manhattan gave me enough drugs to resolve infection which I DID NOT EVEN HAVE A FEVER FROM telling me my hearing was damaged suggesting hearing aides. He said if necessary he could surgically place drum back. It restored to correct position but i then developed what I assume is body wide pulsatile tinnitus still unresolved than vertigo of severity landing me in hospital for 3 days for 11 weeks in the other ear. No other medical problems and my hearing came back to normal thankfully To his vast surprise hearing back to normal but no answer for the pulsatile tinnitus. Any advice greatly appreciated thanks

I have 3 young daughters and it's because of them that I find the strength to carry on and get through this, however, on the flip side to this, they don't help much with their high pitched screams and screeches and god know what other disturbing noises kids make at their age. Why don't you contact some entities that are looking for a cure for tinnitus, and help them develop some kind of definitive cure or at least substantial relief? It is necessary to insist with the scientific community regarding this condition. Have you been playing live concerts? Do you often go to bars where live bands play? If so, how do you avoid further damaging your tinnitus? I love playing live and seeing bands live. It's something that's been part of my culture since I was born. It's really hard for me to continue doing it when I have tinnitus.
