Sometimes the interesting thing when you look at the few Alex Toth pieces where his usual characteristics are absence, are usually when he is inked by other people. And that usually, at least in my personal opinion, never worked out. Toth was the guy that should always do everything, including lettering. He was always so great at that too as well. Toth was an extraordinary talent when it came to art, illustration, sequential storytelling. He really was a true cartoonist and a fantastic talent who kept growing in his skill because he never put that damn pencil down. I am however unsure if any of these examples you present in this short clip are works he did himself, where he really did attempt to be more detailed to somewhat fit in with the style that the genre asked from him, or if these are works where he did most of the work, and then finished off by another artist. That one Conan piece though does however look as if the whole thing was done by Alex.
