So, are you saying that in most cases the center black plastic piece is going to be destroyed when I attempt to remove it? That is a good idea. My only concern is what do you do when you rotate to the stored position. I was looking for a much better option that would allow visible rack lights from any position. I also have an issue with license plate displaying when my rack was up, so I wanted a resolution for that, since you never know when you just ran into that week on the street and fresh out of academy cop. So I did this: czcams.com/video/Hf1NU-T2_9w/video.html Yeah it cost me more, but it checked all the boxes....

Awesome 👍 definitely going to do this for my ridge. Annoying when the doors arent wide enough for cargo
I have 2 pairs of these that I have used for my Subcompact tractor and my Polaris General side by side and they are great for that. I'm about to install a 60 gallon diesel tank on my F250 and I'm gonna see if they will hold up. It weighs around 8,000 lbs. I'll set the jackstands under the axles for backup. It's great that they nest and are lightweight. Years ago I made a set of wooden ramps. They were super sturdy but heavy and awkward to store.

True, but CZcams doesn't let you edit once you upload. Thanks for watching.
Nice, just getting into the overlanding/offroading. I may have to invest in one of those. Never knew they existed. Thanks for sharing!
I was skeptical at first, but sitting in a dead zone every day changed my mind if you can even get one extra bar, it makes a world of difference.
so im lookin at getting these tires in future for my 2023 rav4 what tire pressure do u have yours set to since u said wiht factory tire pressure said gives a kinda wobble
It depends on the wheel size and tire size. I run E Load Range tires so they have thick side walls. The Toyota Tech played around and we discovered at 42 PSI the wobble went away. And 42 I mean middle of the night cold pressure, but like I said I run E-Load RAnge tires. If you don't it's likely balancing.
Yea i just know mine would be 17x8 rim and tire size would be 235/65/r17 load ramge wont know as factpry tires on mine still have decent tread but i just know im leaning toward this tire as a replacement
@@JOSH18041 you should not have any problems. E load range tires have a max PSI of 80 for towing. I assume yours will be SL or C class and have a max PSI of around 44. I would start with OEM recommended PSI and go from there.
Any reason why you went with the car module, instead of the truck module?
This was my first review and use of a HiBoost. I have had a competing brand for about five years that was also a car model. I did install a fixed RV antenna with that one. I'm going to keep the Hiboost mobile so I can use it in any of our vehicles. Works great.
Just wear shin pads

Amazing how about an inch in length gains so much more door opening... Great vid thank you.
It really makes a huge difference for me loading bags etc.
Maybe I should do this to my 02 accord rear doors. Everything about the car is great, but the rear doors fully open is very limited. Trying to load items like servers or data center external batteries becomes a wrestling match. On hot days that's not at all "Real Nice Like".😢
@@benjaminwilliams3568 that would be a great video if it worked. New mod functional for everyone.
Just some info that I have not read or have heard owners talking about: I just bought the 2024 Trailsport Honda Ridgeline. Testing different octane levels... the midgrade works great (price vs mileage benefits) for the west coast, Oregon, at an elevation of approximately 1000 +/- 250 feet. When I added a Honda 100XR "Leer Cap" to the bed of truck...I now have a "cheating way" to add to the more shallow bed height as I gained increased security, and the in bed storage capacity too! Also, the in bed storage access (lift up the bed) still works, as it should, with the cap on! Thus, it can be fully lifted without any compromise(s). Plus...my mileage just increased approximately 3% with this cap!! When I purchased the Leer Cap, the dealer and the Leer company said it would "probably improve the fuel economy"... I know it adding weight and this increase in fuel mpg just sounded to good to be true. However, it has increased my fuel economy, indeed!!!! Thus, I wanted to share same. My thoughts to improve this vehicle are: Please level the truck so the front end is level (if possible) to the back end -- so it will look more like other trucks. I agree with most Ridgeline owners to raise this truck at least "one simple inch or more"! I am most upset that their is no option to install an accessory in the bed on the passenger side "storage box" for either a 12 VDC &/or a 120 VAC outlet available --- like the Black Edition has on the 2024 models! I mean really, the Trailsport is idea for camping and such...duh. In fact, I feel all the trucks models should have this simple option as I am a DIY person and a weekend warrior too! At any rate, I like what you have done with your truck, indeed! You all have a great day.
Thank you, we have leveled off the front 1.5" and added 265/60/18 tires. It looks like it should and only still has a slight rake of 1/2" in the back. Recently we added an exhaust and a High Volume air intake. Honda makes those jobs easy. Thanks for watching.
@@828findadventure I am curious about the front end lift that Honda did. Was it the "J-Sport" or other lift such as the (spelling) "Trauxx?"... Thank you!
@@hoppyhourgirl It was the Jsport 1.5" front . I decided to leave the rear .75" off for now. After install there is still a half inch lift in the rear so I'm ok with that. I went with Jsport because it is cnc machined out of a block of aluminum. Powder coated steel is not 100% protected from rust.
@@828findadventure I was doing some research for this vary situation and found that having that slight 1/2" in the back will possibly help should you carry something heavy in the back as it will help with your front steering control and also help with the lights at night as Honda does not have an adjustable headlight device like I have with my Toyota Tundra! Thus, that said, I agree with your thoughts for same and I feel that is what I plan to do also! Lastly, if it is OK to ask what it cost for Honda Dealership to install the Jsport 1.5 lift kit -- as I was going to shop around for same (I live in Southern Oregon), and I like the Jsport powder coated aluminum for less weight, and helps prevent rust, indeed! Thank you again, .... Ali
@@hoppyhourgirl the install plus alignment was around $500 including tax. I had it done at an overland vehicle place since they lift all types of vehicles including Subarus. You are correct about the headlights, tundras are easy but the RL can still be adjusted manually. Tundras rock, I have a 2021 as well.

Check out ceramic window tint if you haven't already. I just got mine done, I live in Alabama and it's been super hot lately. Made a huge difference with the glare and with the overall build up of heat after sitting in the hot sun all day.

Well done videos. Very professional and detailed with all your wordsmith texting etc FYI I added a SS 3/8” x 1.5” bolt/nut on side of air filter box to the metal frame as a Negative to attach to should I need to use booster cables As the negative in battery side is hard to get to

Outstanding video presentations!! I do have the 2023 BE Ridgeline. I dislike the nose dive look. Maybe my imagination but seems like the Ridge was quieter in tire noises. Meaning the horizontal lines on asphalt paved roads every 20’. Jarring and loud. But maybe just the construction of the road. As other paved roads all ok. Have the OEM Firestone Destination 17K miles. But like the Wild Peak Need it too Look more like a truck instead of a go cart grocery getter…. Thanks for your videos. I am a DYI detailer as well
The lift really changed the whole truck.
@@828findadventure The dealership I bought it from new encouraged me to add the 1.5” and 3/4” at the beginning… But didn’t know if I was going to like the rig With the crazy price of $48K and my car or mid size truck as some call it I may keep it for light duty stuff. Paid for. Subscribe so you don’t miss a video on the HiBoost cell signal booster. A company sent me one to review if you’re interested in that as well. Thanks for watching.
Your video was very helpful. Anyone go through a carwash with this one. Is it safe?
I do it over the winter, so I've done it four times and it does fine.
Just put these on my wife's F150. (275/55R20's) Replaced Grabber ATX's which I have nothing except good things to say about, but I just wanted to try something else.
I’m still very happy and have put a lot of road miles on them.
Looks good, my 21 SR5 XP series came with it as part of the Southeast Toyota package.
Nice, I’m very happy with it.
My 2021 Jeep Gladiator came (factory/OEM) with the 33" AT3W tires -- after 3 years, still looks like plenty of tread-life left. The new ATW4 tires look good, yes, but from what I have gathered researching them they're not good enough for me to go with them over AT3Ws, especially since in some areas one tire is better, in other areas the other tires is. It's a wash -- no conclusive winner because there's not enough difference. Yes, I DO tow, but only a large (6x12) U-Haul trailer every 4-5 years -- not enough to get ATW4s for towing. I also off-road, but I don't do serious rock-crawling -- no trails rated "difficult" (trail-damage possible) or "extreme" (trail-damage guaranteed) -- so again, don't need the thicker sidewalls. OR heavier tires for normal hwy driving for occasional long road-trips (it's my Daily Driver, too). OR when rotating the slightly heavier 4s vs. 3s (which are heavy enough, thank you)! So when it's time (2027 maybe?) to replace my current tires I'll continue with AT3Ws, which BTW, are probably better in snow (Colorado winters) than the 4s are, even if only a little better. That is, unless by then Falken has discontinued the 3s (rumor is they might). If so, will probably go with the 4s. But who knows what OTHER top-tier off-road/hwy All Terrain (AT) tire choices there will be in 3 years? ;-) I also agree with your praise of Discount Tire...my go-store for new tires for decades now! :-) -- BR
I’m very happy with how quiet they are so far.
@@828findadventure I don't even notice my 3s. 🙂 -- BR
