I just ordered mine from discount tires . I should have had them price match. They were 350 ish each. 305/55/20. Thanks for the great review
Just drove them around 700 miles this week and they are really letting me know I made the right choice.
Right on. Mine come in this Wednesday. I also got the E-rated (10 ply). Mine I bought are 265/70/r17
@@111Ronaldinho excellent choice.
We put them on our Bronco 2dr real happy so far
Great tires, thanks for watching.
Getting falken AT4’s tomorrow can’t wait! Good price as well!!
@@KillierElite you are going to love them.
I just ordered mine. 350 ish each. Discount tire. 305/55/20. These will be my first real big boy tires.
I really appreciate the reviews you provide on your channel always down to earth.
I have the Mickey Thompson AT 60k warranty so far so good with 30k on them.
I plan to get a set off Allen’s so definitely will check them out for my next tire.
Thank you for the compliment and thanks for watching. Glad I could help.
Excellent video well explained 👌
I'v got almost a 1,000 miles on mine so far, and so far, im happy. I had the at3's before and loved them so was curious about the changes almost nervous but so far so good. I got the 295-70-18s on a 3.5in lift on my tundra and the only issues I had was I had to do a cab mount chop because there was a slight rub on the mount and had to do an offset rim due to width and barley rubbing upper control arm. Guess you got to pay to play. Thanks for your review and all your helpful videos. Be safe and be blessed!
A body mount chop might happen the next time I buy tires. The wider tires look great. Thank you for watching.
@828findadventure I was hoping to dodge the chop with 34s but I guess these are either over sized or true to size because I read on numerous forum where people got away with 34's. Oh well I guess next time I'll be ready for 35's.
@@boneskull4207 some 34 might fit depending on tread design.
Definitely looking to upgrade to these tires soon. I'm running the factory tire size so the weight is practically the same as the oem Michelin tires. Shouldn't hurt my mpg but definitely will look substantially better and handle any and all weather conditions
You will love them they look great.
I just put the same exact tires on my ‘24 Colorado “Trail Boss”😏 It’s the only 33” they offer for an 18” wheel and it only comes in E. I’ve kinda settled on 37psi, but I’m in a lighter rig and don’t do a whole lot of freeway driving. Cheers
@@giaxxone great tires and I’m really happy with them. Putting about 1k miles on them this week driving and there doing great.
My 2021 Jeep Gladiator came (factory/OEM) with the 33" AT3W tires -- after 3 years, still looks like plenty of tread-life left. The new ATW4 tires look good, yes, but from what I have gathered researching them they're not good enough for me to go with them over AT3Ws, especially since in some areas one tire is better, in other areas the other tires is. It's a wash -- no conclusive winner because there's not enough difference.
Yes, I DO tow, but only a large (6x12) U-Haul trailer every 4-5 years -- not enough to get ATW4s for towing. I also off-road, but I don't do serious rock-crawling -- no trails rated "difficult" (trail-damage possible) or "extreme" (trail-damage guaranteed) -- so again, don't need the thicker sidewalls. OR heavier tires for normal hwy driving for occasional long road-trips (it's my Daily Driver, too). OR when rotating the slightly heavier 4s vs. 3s (which are heavy enough, thank you)!
So when it's time (2027 maybe?) to replace my current tires I'll continue with AT3Ws, which BTW, are probably better in snow (Colorado winters) than the 4s are, even if only a little better.
That is, unless by then Falken has discontinued the 3s (rumor is they might). If so, will probably go with the 4s. But who knows what OTHER top-tier off-road/hwy All Terrain (AT) tire choices there will be in 3 years? ;-)
I also agree with your praise of Discount Tire...my go-store for new tires for decades now! :-)
-- BR
I’m very happy with how quiet they are so far.
@@828findadventure I don't even notice my 3s. 🙂

About 900 miles on my AT4W’s. 2020 Tundra crew max. So far, so good!
Good to hear, I love them so far.
How’s the road noise?
@@BTL3.0 they are very quite for an AT. Probably the quietest I’ve owned.
E rating has o to do with sidewalls it is how many pounds the tire can carry.. e should b about 3000 lbs...the xtra sidewall strength is because it has 3 plies instead of 2 so u should b able to drop that tire pressure when not hauling and get a great ride without squishiness
In my Tundra, all E load range tires wobble at OE PSI.
Because of you & your videos I bought a set of AT4’s from discount tire last week. With the same method wheels you have because they looked bad ass. It’s definitely been an adjustment from the OEM Michelin’s.
What PSI are you running your AT4’s at????
35 PSI just isn’t enough.
Thanks
That’s awesome and a great look. I personally run around 40 psi cold middle of the night cold. They heat up in the day to 45 psi and long trips in the summer heat to around 50 psi. My tires are E-load range so the max psi is 80. Note: middle of the night cold means all tires have been out of the sunlight for several hours and are sitting at equal cold psi.
That looks like the beach in NC. Outerbanks?
@@titleistdl1878 👍🏼
I always liked the falkens. Idk why they are so much heavier than competitors.
More rubber in their design especially the E load range tires.
I drive a 23 sr5 Tacoma, I’m stuck between the geolanders and these wild peak at4s, looking for a solid mild a/t for the look but one that is quiet and doesn’t tank my mpg, you seem to have experience with both tires what do you recommend?
@@ginotirone3286they both are very quiet. BUT, If you like a tire that looks rugged the Wildpeak AT 4 is what you want. Thanks for watching.
@@828findadventure thanks for the recommendation man I appreciate it, will definitely consider that when it comes time to buy 👍🏻
so im lookin at getting these tires in future for my 2023 rav4 what tire pressure do u have yours set to since u said wiht factory tire pressure said gives a kinda wobble
It depends on the wheel size and tire size. I run E Load Range tires so they have thick side walls. The Toyota Tech played around and we discovered at 42 PSI the wobble went away. And 42 I mean middle of the night cold pressure, but like I said I run E-Load RAnge tires. If you don't it's likely balancing.
Yea i just know mine would be 17x8 rim and tire size would be 235/65/r17 load ramge wont know as factpry tires on mine still have decent tread but i just know im leaning toward this tire as a replacement
@@JOSH18041 you should not have any problems. E load range tires have a max PSI of 80 for towing. I assume yours will be SL or C class and have a max PSI of around 44. I would start with OEM recommended PSI and go from there.
What psi are you running them at?
@@texasT6 I have the E-load range version in 275/70/18 with a maximum Psi of 80. I run 42 PSI cold.
Why did you g away from the Yokohama at GO15?
They had about 10k left of treadlife so I mounted them on some other wheels. I ran Yokos for nearly eight years so it was time to try something new. The GO15s are great tires.
If you had to recommend the Yokohamas that you’ve or these for my 16’ Tundra, which would go with?
@@matheusfelipeschirbel4200 I had the Yokohamas for so long and loved them. I love the AT4s as well but this is my first set. I would go with the ones that are most economical for you first. If you like a more rugged looking tire the AT4 is the choice.
How was gas mileage affected with the 10 ply? tires
@@jcoll6518 So gas mileage is affrected by these truck things the most from least to worst. Roof rack of any kind, Heavy large tires, lift of any kind, the higher the worse it gets, lead foot. LOL I get 12mpg city, 16 Highway at 65mph. Any faster speed will lower your gas mileage considerably.
