That's nice and very functional. I wish Toyota copied the Tacoma trailer plug connection, not one for having wires running over the bumper. I've been running a Smittybilt Beaver step for years, great for recovery.

Yes, the wires drive me crazy. Looking for a solution now, maybe a weatherproof junction box under the bumper.

Does the step rattle when you hit bumps in the road?

I don't feel it or hear it, but there are a few millimeters of play.

I have a lifted 89 toyota pickup and have been rear ended 3 time's since I bought it. I always have my hitch in and it is unbelievable the damage it does to the front of vehicles but I haven't had to replace anything on my truck because of the hitch saving it.
