Just FYI, Baking soda mixed with a small amount of water, to create a paste, will 100% neutralize battery acid making it harmless. This solution has been used in industrial applications as well as trucking for many years. Any bits of bat acid you might miss, don't matter because it's rendered harmless.
Fluid Film on clean bat terminals and cables is also highly effective to stop corrosion. I've seen them go years looking brand new with just one spray.

I have noticed certain brands of lead acid batteries especially dealer or oem ones seem leak a lot more acid than others. Which is why your getting all that corrosion. There is also those treaded felt pads that go under the battery terminal that can help neutralize the acid that leaks out of the batteries.
Yes, our Honda Ridgeline comes with the felt from the factory and surprisingly no leaks like I found on the OEM Subaru and Toyota batteries. I figure Toyota and Subaru source them from the same supplier. Thanks for watching.
Just curious if you plan on doing a video to clean or power wash an engine?
Probably not. With engines having so much electronic stuff it would be too risky with that much pressure. As for engine cleaning I go one section at a time with microfiber clothes and an all purpose spray I found on Amazon. I also use swiffers to clean up the dust to keep it clean all year. They look clean but not brand new, even our Honda with 199,000 miles looks good.
