Due to the Life I Live Festival, which is organized in the center of The Hague on King's Night, trams on several lines were rerouted for the entire evening of April 26. In this video, you will see the procedures applied in such circumstances. This diversion was quite challenging, as it required many manual switch operations and changes in line codes on the on-board computer. Also, I try to make sure that passengers are well-informed. After starting our regular service from Statenkwartier, we follow line 3, 4, and 11 between Obrechtstraat and Leeghwaterplein to reach our normal terminus in Wateringen.

This is a good example of how delays occur during a ride. At the Malieveld stop (3:46), we run into a faulty switch signal. Waarom filmde jij niet de hele route?
In dit geval wegens een technisch probleem, de camera raakt soms oververhit door het lange opnemen op 4K/60fps, zeker als de cabine zelf ook warm is. Hij schakelt dan automatisch uit.
You should have a longer microphone arm, We have that on buses i Kbh/Denmark. This gives a better working position and You can better keep an eye on the other traffic in mirrors and screens 😻 There at about 0030/0036 there are probably 3 cars there have more speed than 50, younger men, argh😾
Het is jammer dat de film in de camera op was voordat we de laatste stop bereikten.
Het beeld van de twee buitencamera ' s vanaf de zijkant van de cabine met de bestuurder is slecht: wazig en in donkere vlekken. Deze twee camera ' s moeten worden gerepareerd of vervangen. Изображение с двух наружных камер со стороны кабины с водителем плохое: размытое и в темных пятнах. Необходим ремонт или замена этих двух камер.
I think it is due to the sun or the angle at which the camera is recording, maybe😼
@@leifstrandbech769 A good guess, but... The tram does not travel in a straight line, but turns, sometimes even 180 degrees relative to the beginning of the route. Consequently, the angle of incidence of the sun's rays changes and on different sections of the route we would see a different image. If we assume that these defects are caused by a special installation of the camera inside the cabin (in relation to the monitors), then when the doors are opened and the rear cameras are turned on, the image from them would have the same defects. In fact, the image from the rear cameras is clear.

In Bremen the switches and announcements are automatic on diversions. Especially on planned diversions, the driver doesnt have to announce or set the switches. Our Avenio still has a speedometer at the blank spot left of the screen ;) I love your videos, keep it up! Greetings from Germany
It was not the normal route for linje 17, as several routs that passed through the city center/downtown/central district, were rerouted along the routs of other lines. Stops + are already entered so when the driver keys line nr on the pc, it is announced based on censors in the trace, plus track-light regulation. But when there are traffic changes, it can´t just be put in place, You have to be the microphone holder. We do the same on the buses when We run on other stops, than our own. You probaly have a newer and better computer system in Bremen, good for You 😸 Mbh from danmark, københavn, leif😺

It´s probably varies from day to day, and probably also during the day, on a shift. In Helsinki You can take 3 to 5 lines, in on trip/day, rush hour, back and forth 😼
Imiteer je andere lijnen voor de negenogen?
Ja inderdaad. Weet niet zeker of het op dit tracé invloed heeft, maar neem liever het zekere voor het onzekere.
Waar rijdt je nooit in een ander soort tram?
Omdat ik alleen bevoegd ben voor de Avenio. Maar binnenkort kun je misschien ook video's van de GTL en Citadis verwachten ;)

Always funny to see how Melbourne (Australian) trams seemingly took inspiration from European tram designs. For example the articulation sections and driving consoles.

Stond het lijnnummer verkeerd op de tram dat je bij elke halte het lijnnummer omriep?
Aangezien ik op het tracé van andere lijnen reed kan het soms verwarrend zijn voor passagiers welke lijn je precies rijdt. Uit ervaring blijkt bijvoorbeeld dat veel mensen niet eens naar het display kijken en dus denken dat ze 'gewoon' in een lijn 11 stappen... Daarom roep ik het voor de zekerheid ook nog even om via de buitenomroep.
Mensen kijken nooit naar wat er op de tram staat, zij verwachten daar maar 1 Avenio tram en dat is tram 11. Dit noem je vooral een service van de zaak.
Wat hadden we zonder de CVL gemoeten, interessante omleidingsroute.

Great video. Thanks for the tour. Quick question: are the GTL trams narrower than the other trams in the fleet? They certainly appear to be in videos I’ve seen, but it could be an optical illusion.
It's true! The GTLs are only 2.35m wide while the Avenio is 2.55m. In fact, some lines had to be modified in recent years extensively in order to accommodate the new trams.
Ik ben nog nooit in Nederland of Den Haag geweest, maar ik kijk al heel lang naar video ' s over de Haagse tram en ik weet dat er een speciale GTL restauranttram in het zwart is. Er waren ook GTL-modellen met twee stroomafnemers. Aanvraag: Maak een video van het interieur van de GTL werkende tram op verschillende tijdstippen van de dag (middag en avond). Я никогда не был ни в Нидерландах, ни в Гааге, но давно смотрю видео о гаагском трамвае, и знаю, что есть специальный GTL трамвай-ресторан черного цвета. Также, были модели GTL с двумя пантографами. Просьба: сделайте видео салона рабочего трамвая GTL разное время суток (днем и вечером).

Deze trams zijn dus waar ik aan denk als ik het woord tram hoor. Ik kan me nog zo goed herinneren dat ik vroeger tram 1 pakte naar Scheveningen noord met me ouders. Goede herinneringen.
