I have bought 6 atomberg fans over the past few years, while I am overall happy with them, I noticed that they fail after about 5 years. In a normal fan generally only the capacitor fails which is easy to replace.

Great question, some of these traditional players have actually launched BLDC fans, but I don't think it's just the technology that matters, this consumer segment is looking for innovative features, great designs and predictable after sales service!

They promise 10000 things for you to enroll/pay for their service and finally they give Zero quality service. All so called professionals are road side mechanics, agents, brokers and they enrolls with them (Zero Credibility) very few are lucky who get professional service agents. Unfortunately most of the agents do service for commissions, brokerage etc. Nothing No Broker - everything is FAKE. They take PREPAID money and make you fool. If they are so professional why not partial payment and then full payment after completion of FULL SATISFIED SERVICE not Guaranteed. Bcoz they hide many things before start of work and give FAKE promises and NEVER fulfill or REFUND. Pls don't believe them. 0% Refund Guarantee. All Prepaid and you are fool to suffer. All Customer Care guys are total shit and cheat innocent guys like me and you. So, this is REAL Story of this Cheaters. Be Careful.

Great question. But the answer lies in offering a differentiated offering to customers. Also this model can't really work in an IC cars because cost of petrol will keep on rising. Also, as we said, their long term moat will be by building charging stations at prime locations!
