C,mon I agree with you, if that’s Vip class lounge demand a refund. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol. Poor , poor standard.

That food looked ridiculous, especially if very expensive.

As I have said before I would never pay cash for a Business Class/Club Europe trip from London to Tenerife. AVIOS is the way to go. The lounges probably offer £50-£70 of added value in London for the food/drinks/snacks/alcohol and comfort you get for flying Club Europe. The Tenerife Lounge isn't a BA lounge, and that's where the problems start, BA isn't responsible for the standards they just offer it as an option for passengers travelling Business back to the UK. Generally, the lounges in major European Cities are much better than holiday destinations. You were unlucky with the onboard food, that rarely happens but I would put in a complaint to BA about this.

I'd hate to think how much extra you've paid for club class it wasn't worth a dime,no meal of choice on the plane,you then bought a french stick sandwich that had more crunch than the kings battalions on horses guards parade,you could of pre ordered a sandwich in los cris for the journey for a pittance.then again on a 4hour plane journey who can't do without food for 4hours.i don't do salads are you having a laugh,11 euros for petrol but its not relevant you did naff all miles i guess. Whatever floats your boat, darren, you could always offset the cost of the holiday on what you saved on those 5 euro shirts .lol.oh & a bottle of fanta lemon.

So Darren. I booked BA club Europe for my honeymoon. I was in row 6. Someone behind me got moved after take off to an empty row 1 and ordered the same as I did. He got served his and when it got to me they had run out so kicked up a bit of a stink and I got offered a crew meal. It was a chicken tikka masala. Such a shame for you wasn’t a great experience.

Don't worry DJ, we've all had that feeling once or twice. Paying for something, believing it to be better than it is, turning up, eating it etc, then feeling ripped due to the let down and initial cost. And that's why you still got a sandwich ;)

Hi Darren, 🎉 glad you had a Wonderful 10 days in Tenerife. And your brand new car looked nice, that you hired. But sad it didn't go well, returning home, with the vip lounge and food running out, on the plane. Not what you want, when you are returning from your nice holiday. 😟

I saw on the table, Sandwiches, mixed deli meats, cheeses and panini’s. Not just fruit and booze.

That BA Club Europe is a bit of a con really...Having said that, the lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick are great. I stick to only using it when I have Avios to use up.
