It’s been so many years since I last went there, it’s places like this that I miss. Used to get off the tube at Marble Arch and walk, walk & walk. Loved it.

great video darren selfridges is just awesome love the tech dept there as well and theres actually a nice little bar inside where you can grab a beer very relaxing place and HMV nearby too as well as the excellent mayfair chippy which i may visit this weekend :)

I’d love u as a project to do the monopoly board I.e. visit each location one at a time. Thank you Darren for this walk. Back in the 1970;s I worked in an office above the shops on Oxford street. It was near to the Matble Arch end. Yes a visit to Selfridges can take some time. It is a massive store.

Worked in Brook Street just off Oxford Street 1981 to 1986, fantastic world then. You passed my road at 04:20 on the RHS
Love your walking videos around gorgeous London. Ill never get sick of them. Not long until I'll be able to do it myself (finally!!). Of course Oxford Street is on the list. The Selfridges windows are very interesting to say the least. Now that giant whoopie cushion...did they have any sounds to go with the visual? 😂😂😂

It was buzzing during day trying to get to the next shop loved it and on a night Oxford street all lit up with pretty lights , nice memories.😊🥹

Isn't Oxford Street just a junk store these days with those hundreds of 'candy stores' laundering money?
You should take some time out and show what London is like in the poorer areas instead of bigging it up all the time.
Westminster, Camden, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Ealing, Wandsworth, Enfield, Haringey, Brent, Lewisham, Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Hounslow, Lambeth, Redbridge, Barnet, Bexley, Croydon and Southwark all have significantly higher levels of poverty compared to England as a whole....
