DJ, I’ve changed my mind. I thought the two seperate channels was a good idea. But, actually you’ve tested the theory,and now I think one consolidated (best of both) works better. I don’t know if you are able to work out how many subscribers on the new channel are also subscribers on this one, and already were b4 the new channel started I.e are most of the viewers your old viewers? None of my business, but it’s really interesting how things work and algorithms etc. my opinion DJ for what it’s worth is consolidate and potentially rename (if u are able) this channel to something like DJ - Food, Travel & Life. Might be a bit of a mouthful but… Then put all your great ingredients into it going forward - eating out, travel, biking, London, cooking in, prizes (every now and then). Only my thoughts from down here in NZ, but I always look forward to your videos, it’s always a positive in my day, and whatever you decide to, just wishing you and your channel/s the very best for the rest of 2024!
Please don't give up on the food channel. Come on people, share the food vids🙏🏽
Thailand is lovely. I went to Phuket with my parents year's ago. It's an amazing country. You will love it. Enjoy

You will be hooked on Thailand when you visit Darren. It's like a drug, and you will want more. Pattaya is full on stay in a quiet Soi away from the madness, but go and sample the madness. Soi 6 and 8, Walking Street, LK Metro, Soi Buakhao. You will have plenty of content to put on your food channel when in Thailand. Best food on the planet, in my humble opinion.

Why is it that some people are so negative about someone who has a tough time, but gets off their A** and does something about it. I say Good for you DJ, Live YOUR Dream and ENJOY every moment whilst you can. Both of your channels are great and if people dont like what you do, they dont have to watch, but they obviously still do 🤣🤣

Very envious of you for all those trips. I've mentioned them before, but please try Cafe Himalaya in the East Village of NYC. It's a small family run business and the food is fabulous. If you like a great mixture of flavors, you'll love it I think. Looking forward to those vlogs.

Thank you Darren John, glad your re focusing, pushing your creative spirit, I'm into food but to be honest l haven't really watched all your food channel if lm looking for a particular recipe l will search YT for it and that brings up lots, theirs heaps of them out there, l love this channel and if it evolves to other things so be it....I enjoy your journey...hope im not being too blunt...just my opinion..and as always stay safe cant wait for the next adventure regards Doc from Down Under in Australia. PS if its any consolation l enjoy the food reviews mixed amongst your journeys like you've allways done, when me and the missis visit a place food plays a big part of that trip and a memory l think you should keep them in your travel blogs.

DJ, I love your London vids as much as any of the others wherever they maybe, after all it is your Manor and there are so many interesting places to see. While you're in Thailand you really must go see their national sport of Thai Boxing, either at Lumpini or Rajadamnern Stadiums, or for lesser standard Best Friends Bar in Pattaya, as a former fighter and trainer I'd love to see that on your channel. Don't let the negative comments from people get you down my friend, I know it's difficult but I have learned to rise above, just keep reading the positive ones and you'll develop a can do no matter what attitude, we're never ever going to please everyone whatever we do.

Every now and again its important to try and treat yourself. I think its about getting a balance? I think people dont appreciate how much work goes on "behind the scenes", so to speak, editing etc. to bring these videos to you guy's, the public. Hours and hours.
These videos wont actually be a holiday from all the hard work but they will no doubt be like a 'working holiday'. Good stuff, Darren. Thank you.

I used to live in Pattaya but i've been over most of Thailand you will be smitten Darren also Pattaya can be anything you want it to be crazy or quiet but definitely amazing.

@@DarrenJohn September is the monsoon season but having said that I saw vlogs for that month nice and sunny last year it's changing.
Aye , was there in monsoon time wasn't that bad rained every day at 4pm for half hour, easy to live with if you don't mind humidity
