Does the school have classes online for those who want to increase their Bible knowledge, but not interested in going into preaching?

I am church of Christ trained, I received my bachelor in Bible in 1999. I was married after preaching school, 3 years later my wife was unfaithful and I stepped down as a successful youth minister in S.E. Michigan. Even after sending over 50 resume's to many churches over the last 30 years always "passed over". I have been involved with three local churches and helped them grow when we followed God's plan for church growth. I teach solid doctrine based on the Koine Greek texts of the bible. I am able, ready and willing to go work with a church, but no one "takes". When churches toss aside ABLE MEN who can preach the gospel and teach and evangelize, you see the church shrinking like it is now. I was bitter for a while. I wondered why no one take me. It is because I am single and that I am divorced. My marriage ended when my wife broke the covenant. I am no longer bitter. It is what it is. I have great references, but I am done. The last disappointment was being told by a church in West Virginia I was the one but they had one more man coming who they didn't want as he wanted to preach and be a funeral director. 7 weeks later I finally contacted them and said "Did you get sick or something, it has been 7 weeks". "No, I am sorry, we picked another man". Wow. Bear Valley taught me to preach correctly and use proper exegesis to feed the saints and gain souls. I feel addled and wonder what men in churches think while they watch their rolls dwindle and there are able preachers out there like me.

Isaiah 53 says very clearly the suffering servant is the Jewish people. The Jewish Hebrew Bible ends with Chronicles II. Cyrus has defeated the Babylonians and Jews are welcome to return to their homeland. Prophecy fulfilled.

It’s not a mystery at all. You are reading Isaiah backwards starting with the idea that Jesus fulfills the prophecy in Isaiah. If you read it without biases or prejudgments it’s not there. If yo it read it with an understanding of what was happening in Judah and Israel at the time Isaiah was writing the meaning is obvious but of course you know nothing about the time periods Isaiah was written.

Good discussion. But if a baby is crying, they should be removed as they are preventing others from hearing the preaching. Most preachers can't outpreach a crying child.

I guess we should change Jehoshua’s name since Yahweh is Gods new name? The first part of the name uses Gods name and it is also where we get Jesus (Greek) which means the same Jehovah saves! Why aren’t all the critical scholars telling us that the vowel points in Jehoshua’s name are from Adonai and they are made up?

I find it amazing that this channel says that you want to explain what the Bible really says about the various doctrines found in it but then you go and call the name of God Yahweh and say it’s his personal name. I say prove it! Show us any evidence that we have that Gods name is Yahweh. This lie and has been vomited for years on Christians and now when you go to many of the new age bibles you find it everywhere. I thought the Hebrew says that Yehovah is the name of God. For hundreds of years in the English language translations it was but now the new age church has told us no, no, no Yahweh is his name and they got that from Wilhelm Gesenius who commented that it was a possible translation of the name but never definitively. So who is this CZcamsr who speaks words without knowledge? Again prove it by truly digging deep and understanding the history of the name and stop blaspheming God by calling his a false name.

I always tell the flock that if a baby's crying and I can't preach over the baby, the problem is not baby it is me.

There are two baptisms; one by water and one by the Spirit. It is the baptism by the Spirit that immerses us into Christ, that transfers us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. The second baptism is done by men and for men. It is done as a part of working out our salvation before men. It is necessary because although God has forgiven us of our sins our fellow man may still be offended. We need to wash away our sins by confessing our sins to one another in a public way. Paul certainly offended a lot of people and even Ananias had trouble with his conversion and that’s why he said arise and wash away your sins.

Heaven will never be new...it is always the same heaven from the beginni g of the world. It is always full of good souls, specifically selected souls. Evil souls are thrown into hellfire! This world will be new when all men recognize and worship Jesus alone.

In order to be an image-bearer of God you have to be a human being. God is trying to renew us BACK to His image. God is in the RESTORATION business, NOT annihilation (please be careful teaching this!). Jesus is ushering in the new Genesis of creation. Thank you, Lord! Deliver us from this body of death to put on incorruptible bodies of righteousness! 💛 Genesis opens up with God creating the heavens and the earth-Revelation close up with God recreating a new heaven and new earth. In Hebrews Chapter 11, it has become popularly known as "the Hall of Faith" chapter. It names many famous Biblical people of faith, such as Moses, Enoch, Abraham, the harlot Rahab, and then towards the end, it mentions" [v.35] "and others were * tortured, not accepting deliverance that they might obtain a better resurrection." The original 1611 KJV has a marginal note with an asterisk referring to the word "tortured" (above) and it refers to * 2 Macc 7:7.

Original 1560 Geneva Bible [New Testament] References 1 Macc 4:59 In the Gospel of John 10:22-23 we read: And it was at Jerusalem the * feast of the Dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the Temple, in Solomon's porche. In the Geneva Bible, they have a Marginal Note referencing * 1 Macc. 4:59. "Which was the institute that the people might give thanks to God for their deliverance and the restoring of their religion and Temple which Antiochus had corrupted and polluted." this story in 1 Macc. - this is what John 10:22-23 is referencing. This is celebrated because Judah (the Hammer) Maccabee defeated King Antiochus and the Jews reclaimed the Temple, they purified the Temple, and they re-dedicated the Temple to the LORD, and that's why they call it the Feast of Dedication, the "days of Hanukkah"- because it's the re-dedication of the Temple after Antiochus polluted it. And this set the stage for the coming of the Messiah which was to take place 160 years into the future. Without these events, there would be no New Testament and no Gospel because Jerusalem had to be made ready for the coming Messiah. This is why Jesus also took part in the Feast of Hanukkah as we see in John 10:22-23. All of these events are in the Holy Bible - they are fully Biblical recorded events that endure to this day. The reason there is so much lack of knowledge and awareness of Hanukkah is because 1 and 2 Macc. was removed from the Canon of Scripture - most likely due to the shocking and horrific violent details contained within the story. But a lot of awareness, for example, of not eating "swine's flesh" (unclean food) and that it is an abomination to God - to eat the unclean food - the swine's flesh - this powerful truth was taken away from the modern Christian mindset after so many years of gradual departure from the original true faith, once delivered to the saints.We need to get back to the original Christian faith, a commandment-keeping faith, a law-abiding faith. The mainstream Christian Church today is generally "law-less" because they are totally unaware that they too have to "keep the commandments of God". Gentiles are "grafted-into 'Israel' and become "fellow-citizens". We cannot have a dysfunctional family where 1-half obeys the Torah and the other half neglects the Torah. We need to unite in one accord and follow the narrow way set before us. Jews, of course, need to Repent and believe in Jesus (Yeshua) for their Salvation. So we have this dis-connect between Jews and Christians.

“Calling on the name of the Lord” is just that. Calling(with your mouth) on the name of the Lord - usually seen in combination with an act of obedience. In the OT it was usually (sacrifice + the name YHWH, or whatever God was being invoked). 1 Kings 18:24 24 And *call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD:* and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. 1 Kings 18:26 26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, *and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, SAYING, O BAAL, hear us.* But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made. 1 Kings 18:36-37 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, *and SAID, LORD* God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 *Hear me, O LORD, hear me,* that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Elijah as well as the false prophets CALLED upon(invoked by saying) the NAME of their respective GOD. In the NT it is (baptism + the name of the Lord Jesus Christ). Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and *be baptized every one of you in (ἐπὶ) the name of Jesus Christ* for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:12; 16 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, *and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.* 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only *they were baptized in(εἰς) the name of the Lord Jesus.)* Acts 15:17 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, *upon whom my name is called,* saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Acts 22:16 16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and *be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.* - Acts 2:36 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, *that God hath made that same Jesus,* whom ye have crucified, *both Lord and Christ.* I can understand defending against the misunderstanding that: “calling on the name of the Lord” ONLY means to call, absent the prescribed obedience(baptism). BUT, to say that the obedience(baptism) itself IS the “calling on the name” is error as well - discounting the actual NAME of Jesus as part of our baptismal obedience. Acts 4:12 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

I was thinking about the scriptures talking about the kingdom of God being like a fisherman dragging a net full of good & bad fish & the bad are thrown away. Can you also ask a fisherman WHAT EXACTLY IS THROWN BACK? So Ananias knew Paul was saved If this is all true, why does the protestant keep saying Ananias didn't know Paul's heart so mistakingly told him to wash away his sins. This is all muddled logic. Not to mention that the protestant says that we are saved by calling on the Lord, which he describes as something like a heart prayer. But if God cannot listen to a repentant sinner, then how can a sinner be saved by calling on the name of the Lord? This is all muddled logic to defend a certain theology. In my opinion, anyways. Gbu

It is obvious that God loves Man. But it was man who sinned, not God. It is normal to think that the person who should take a significant step to repair this error is man and not God, no matter how much he loves Man. Otherwise, Man will not feel worthy of entering Paradise again.

The church is a structure of the government they work together. To create fear in a person that they think they have to go outside of themselves for healing or to find God, which is the biggest crime against humanity ever! You are one with God You are the creator you speak into existence what happens in your life and what consciousness you're going to tap into on this planet. Just the way Jesus taught you! And look what the structure did to him, they made an example out of him like they do everyone who colors outside of their lines. Wake up people stop following these people who think that they know God better than you? They do not and they're explaining the Bible based on their understanding and not the truth.
