I desperately want to be involved in a group evangelism program, or opportunities. Yes, it's each Christian's responsibility to evangelize, but we all have different personalities, skills and minds. We are all in different stages of spiritual maturity as well. While it may be real easy for one person to talk to anyone anytime alone, it might not be as simple for others and sometimes group efforts are the way to go. It can be motivating and encouraging and it can help others grow in knowledge and be able to better evangelize individually ❤ Thank you brothers!

To those who say door knocking doesn't work, how do they know that? The gospel was still preached so actually it did work. There's no way to know if every single door that was knocked resulted in someone reading the word or seeking truth, etc. If one soul was led to Christ and saved at some point, then it was worth it. Just because they might not come to that congregation doesn't mean they didn't obey the gospel. But there are other ways, setting up a spot at local festivals, just hand out water and free games for kids, along with evangelism material and talking to people. It's making a presence known. ❤

The best evangelism is natural and mutual connection. Just get to know a person and befriend them. Your own testimony is someone sometimes the best. Once they feel you are vulnerable, they will open up. I don't rush. I build a rapport.

Fear the Lord? Yes, I feared God when I did not know that I was saved. I did not know that I was saved until I found and believed the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4.
I listened to preachers instead of studying my Bible. When I studied my Bible I found that I was saved when I believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, He was buried and He rose on the third day.
God makes it simple for us to be saved. But Satan gets in the way and preaches false gospels. That is why we have so many denominations preaching so many false gospels.
When I found that I was saved, I loved the truth of God's word. In II Thessalonians 2:10 Paul tells us that those who do not have a love for the truth perish.
I ask for everyone to study God's word for themselves and find the truth. The gospel is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4. I never heard a sermon preached on those four verses in the 50+ years that I attended a CoC assembly.
Why? It is the gospel that we are saved by believing. Why did I never hear a sermon preached on these four verses?
When I found out that I was saved by believing the gospel I started to love God with all my heart, soul, strength and mind.
Then I started sharing the gospel with others. The simple fact that I have knowledge of and confidence in my salvation allows me to fulfill the two greatest commandments that Jesus Christ spoke of.
When we have confidence in our salvation, it gives us confidence to share the gospel with others.
I ask for everyone to believe the gospel of the grace of God and then share the gospel with others. That is what is called the Ministry of Reconciliation found in II Corinthians 5:18-21
