I wrote a bulletin article a few years back entitled “watch out for Max” I quoted Max Lucado from his own mouth about how he’d broken away from the church of Christ. I had a member come running as say “my aunt is here today and she attends Max’s church, this article is gonna make her mad!” I kindly said maybe it will.” At the end of services her aunt approached me and wanted to speak privately. She told me she “never knew he’d (Max) said those things” that she was “gonna ask him about them” I told her I’d pray for their conversation. I gave her a link to Max Lucado’s Larry King Live interview where she could hear him say them for herself. Too many are offended by the thought of offending.
Amazing to hear from sound congregations from there, here in Kenya too we are tightening up doctrines which at first we didn't understood. Thanks to God for sending brothers from there to help us..let's forge forward 🙏 To God be the glory 🙏
Speaking Christ's bible truth at any time is a strong love to save souls and to keep souls saved. Helpful scripture message.

Being nice and being kind are not synonymous. If being nice stifles the conveying of truth, then being kind enough to not be nice is good. The truth hurts people who hate it.
There is a trend in preaching combo gospels. These preachers combine the gospel of the kingdom with the gospel of the grace of God and then make up their own combo gospel.
They do not preach the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4.
They say that you cannot be saved eternally. They say that you can lose your salvation. They say that you have to strive till the end to be saved. These are false gospels.
Then what was Paul talking about when he talked about running the race.
Just because a church uses a praise team or instrumental music doesn't mean they are not focused on God and are focused on man. That's ridiculous!
It's Legalism and self-righteousness that leads people to condemn people that use them...
It sounds like you are using the term 'The Lord's Church' as only being the Church of Christ denomination. If true, that is very sad.
That's what the majority of COC believe. It's a psychological box they gaslight themselves into

The definition of denomination typically refers to that of currency.
When one refers to the Lord’s church, as a “denomination,” that implies that there’s a “difference…”
“IF” one reads/“absorbs” His Word, then Jesus (the Christ) makes clear, that it’s “HIS” church, and that “church” doesn’t refer to a buildin’ (one goes to) it’s ALL whom belong to the Lord Jesus Christ as his disciples.
They’r ONE in love, in character, in hope, in Christ, as the head of “ALL…”😇

@rons4297 Yes, Christ is the head of his body, the Church, but his body is not exclusive to only those attending a church with a particular name on the building.
