Hello. I'm reaching out here again because I'm at my wits' end. I use a GoPro 11 camera primarily for my bike trips. I shoot videos vertically as I intend to upload them on Instagram. All the videos look great on my phone or in the Quick app. I record in 2.7k 60fps or 4k60fps. However, when I upload the footage to Instagram, the video is completely ruined. It doesn't matter how I export the video, whether in HD, FHD, 2k, or 4k. Reels always end up being of poor quality. Additionally, when I record with my phone in 4k 30fps, those videos look good on Instagram as well. Please help, as I'm about to throw this camera in the trash.

Great video .. I edit everything for the most part in Premiere Pro. However, if I go to a car show I might have 40 clips .. I really enjoy using the Quik app which can take these 40 clips, probably 20 mins of video, auto highlight, and make a nice looking 6 min clip. I pull that into premiere and build a front and back to it. The problem is .. QUIK isn't working well at all on Android anymore. In fact, it won't export my creations. Do you know of any way to make highlight real similar to what Quik was doing?

@Abe Kislevitz I just stumbles across this. Hero 9 recording in 4k Superview, Hypersmooth High. The 70 lens correction looks distorted, and playing around with it I noticed that the EIS Crop doesnt do anything... This is Hero source video that is right on the SD card, but its like it cant find the EIS info maybe??

Hi Abe, all the good intentions of your video are wasted as the plugin is now so unstable it's basically unusable. I'd much prefer to be able to continue using the old one, and navigating with Yaw, Roll and Pitch, if it meant that Premiere Pro didn't crash every five minutes when the new plugin is installed. Can you please ask your software department to come up with a functional version of the plugin? Or perhaps al work out a way to make the old one available again? Adobe refuse to deal with this as it's a third party plugin. And the people on the GoPro help line - I'm sorry to say - just haven't a clue and ask what version of Windows I'm running. (I've spent many days on this, by the way, including reinstallations going back as far as PP 2015.) Otherwise, my GoPro Max, which is one of my favourite filmmaking toys, will have to go up on eBay!

I need some help with the Go Pro reframe plugin. Whenever I set up my sequence in Premiere to 1920 x 1080 vertical and pick the drop down in the Go Pro Reframe plugin for 16:9 for social. The footage doesn't fill up the entire frame, the only way to fill up the whole frame is to crop in and lose quality. Is there a fix to this or am I doing something wrong?

Very well captured 👏🏽💯 For capturing such cinematic Action scenes, is it advisable to shoot always in Wide lens and then straighten it out in Post to keep your subject inside the frame or Shoot in Linear lens mode from a distance.
