Agree about the hood. Im 6 ft tall and have to put the seat at highest setting to see over hood. It wouldcalso be nice to have telescoping steering wheel.

There was a cool old blue truck in the ghost town in the northern part of Saline Rd. Two years someone pushed it into a pit. The history in Death Valley and the surrounding Inyo and White mountains is amazing. The old mines, cabins and other relics is real history and most people do respect it. It sucks when, stupid, arrogant, over landing idiots do idiotic things for sick thrills or You Tube views. Fortunately I know of many old, abandon mining roads that lead to amazing places that these morons will never find.

I`d like to see a head to head comparison between this shelter and the similarly priced and sized Overlandish Basecamp V2. And then a follow up after a year or so. That would be a Heavyweight Championship.

As a Jeep commander owner who has done tons of trails i can relate to a lot in this video. The commander is the bastard child of the jeep world and has almost 0 aftermarket support. BTW I have always liked the Vehicross but I'm one who like to do things different.

We like to try open open first. I feel it keeps me connected with what the truck is capable of if the scenario ever arrives where I lose the use of the lockers. Plus, if you can find a way to walk up an obstacle open open, then you really look like a boss.

Just got my '22 Pro 4-X and love it, agree with all points. An additional small issue is the driver leg space width. I'm 6'2" and the forward leg room is comfortable, but my knees rest along the extra trim on the inside. The doors have the shiny raised plastic part that, while looks good, creates a rigid and narrow contact point. The right knee rests on the handle-shaped trim on the center console. I feel that these remove 2-3 inches width of you ability to comfortably rest your knees on the interior. Still, not a deal breaker, love my little gray truck!

For all of the challenging and tough trails I did in my XJ with an open diff, as soon as I put a lunchbox locker in the front turned wheeling in the rocks into a "cheat code" compared to being open.

I run a Gladiator and love it. I run a STO van and love it. After these experiences, We plan to convert to a Utility Wagon as primary Overlanding rig and the STO Van to be used for lighter travel that is more focused to hiking/camping. We have decided sleeping within the confines of the Wagon, even if in an Ursa Minor/Type roof compartment. The STO emphasized to us we want to prioritize sleeping within the vehicle, carry a ground tent for specific optimal situations, have a very capable vehicle, and travel very lightly.

Almost half way through 2024, what's up with the bumper? 🤔 Will we see it before the fourth gen comes out ??? 😂 And no word of progress. That's not a way to increase profits.

Looking at steel vs aluminum for my motorcycle. But in this case I actually am Looking at stainless steel. Seems the best of both worlds. Lighter than mild steel, less corrosion than aluminum, very rigid over time

Should l consider a VehiCross with 146,000 miles?? I drove it, it rides and sounds great, l know I'm gonna have a lot to do..timing belt, sensors, bearings, fan belt..on and on.. l am in love with VehiCross, this one is 6-7 on a 1-10.. no oil leaks, knocks or weird noises..seems pretty solid, 99 silver with red/ black interior.. l will likely only trail ride here in Florida with it, im a little nervous about the milage..what do you think???
