I don’t see a future where Phoenix fixes the roster unless they hire a genius GM/President. I don’t know who you could trade out of those three to really improve the roster. You need more defense and more playmaking. Maybe you try to trade Bradley Beal even with his no-trade clause? I think either him or Durant should be traded. Ask Beal where he would be okay with being traded to. Maybe you could convince Beal to be dealt to the Hawks for Trae Young. Then you could trade Durant for Jerian Grant and some role players. You need playmaking, you need defense, and you need bench depth.

As a Pelicans fan I think that you can keep all four wings but trade Cj Mccollum for a true point guard. The Pelicans biggest problem is ball movement and cj doesn't help with it. The offense is too slow and you can see how much better we get when we have Jose on the floor. I also think you trey murphy is much better as a 6th man.

Kat for KD kinda works for both teams. For Wolves, Kat is a really costly deal and they have other pieces at PF, but what they need is a dude to help Ant carry the offense in the playoffs and KD is a better fit short term for that. For the Suns, they need something other than an Iso scorer and they need a longer timeline, replacing Kat with KD allows them to extend their timeline much farther. Also Booker/Kat were college friends, they may even be able to Add DLo (another friend) to their team for cheap if he's opting out of the Lakers deal. Wolves go chase a title with a team that fits around KD and Ant gets to play with his favorite player, and frankly the Wolves get better short term

Kevin Durant is older now. He’s been swept twice in the last 3 years. Both times in the first round. But what we don’t talk about is how he’s 35 years old- 5 years removed from a career-ending injury- and he just played 75 games and the 6th most minutes in the league. He averaged 27-6-6. LeBron James? Even older. He went from swept, to almost swept, to looking forward to his kid getting drafted and turning 40 this year. But LeBron James is still LeBron James. Kevin Durant is still Kevin Durant. If their era is over, why not go out with one last bang, together.

If Beal is smart, he should talk to the front office and let them know that he won't be exercising that no trade clause--so they can send him wherever the fuck they can, b/c Phoenix looking like "La Tóxica." Then I'd advertise to the rest of the league--"I will not ever be exercising that no trade clause." It's ironic that this clause actually is backfiring on him.
