Also, remember how well MN plays as a team (credit, in part to coach Finch) and how you were one of many who felt trading for Gobert was one of the worst possible things for MN to do. His teammates have bought in to playing around him and the rest of the NBA has had to deal with that. Gobert is playing better than he did in Utah. His teammates there, Donovan Mitchell included, did not offer as much overall as his teammates in MN do. Of course, Edwards is the superstar of the Wolves. KAT should probably still be considered #2, but they are in concert with Gobert. It is, and remains, a team game.

To be fair, it's very difficult to grade a trade at the instant it's made. You have to make guesses about how well the players acquired fit into potential team chemistry, as well as how their skill sets mesh with what other players on the team do. A lot of that is playing with your new teammates, and maybe making a few moves afterwards to tweak things.

Matt Ishbia is running this team into the ground. Before the Beal/Paul/Ayton trade and firing Monty Williams the Suns won 2 games against the nuggets. Before the Durant trade they had depth. Yes they aren’t a contender but if they had kept Monty, Bridges, traded Ayton, and picked up a veteran point guard like Derrick Rose they would be in a better spot than they are now. Now they are underachieving team in the second apron that can’t do anything and it is a matter of time until KD asks out.

The Nets traded for an aging KG and Paul Pierce to team up with Joe Johnson in the 2013-14 season, though I did not regard them as a Super Team cause those 3 were on the tail end of their primes but The Nets built that team to battle The Heattles. I know the talent level in the leauge is comparable to what it was a decade ago and the parity is highest it's been in decades but still, that Nets team still made it to the 2nd round getting eliminated by The Heat. This Suns team with freakin Kevin Durant is on the verge of getting swept in the 1st round.

Matt Ishbia is running this team into the ground. Before the Beal/Paul/Ayton trade and firing Monty Williams the Suns won 2 games against the nuggets. Before the Durant trade they had depth. Yes they aren’t a contender but if they had kept Monty, Bridges, traded Ayton, and picked up a veteran point guard like Derrick Rose they would be in a better spot than they are now. Now they are underachieving team in the second apron that can’t do anything and it is a matter of time until KD asks out.
