I quit wow durning SoD Of Phase 3… I just one day decided to not get on WOW and since that day I just decided to stop playing and I haven’t had the itch to play wow anymore since I didn’t realize others started to quit wow/sod around the same time I did… wow

27:00 this is the most important out of anything. Classic+ should be pitched as an everlasting world that will be built upon. To that point, existing vanilla content should remain as is. Use resources to add new content that fits the vanilla design and philosophy. Start with the world and a new raid tier. A long way down the line: new races/classes could be introduced when it wouldn’t shake up the core vanilla meta (naxx etc), if the community agrees. Very slow and steady development so I can play a character and have it persist in this world forever, without the season ending, without a major expansion that nullifies everything from vanilla.

the most sence that makes of races to be added are ofc Bloodelfs as there are neutral and friendly once, as well as twisted like the human and gnome occultist's. Goblins also, they could say that they were stuck all this time in a part of kalimdor where the tunnel collapsed due to a war against the furbolgs and just simply closed the gate instead of fighting it out with Fel crazed furrys..

I hope they finish off Azshara. . it is well known that it was hastly finished off to be a playable zone instead of being totaly scrapped, just like Hyjal should also be finished off and work up from there.

This is why Breath of the Wild was so good. They explain very little and just throw you into the world. They give you tools to be creative and let you decide how to tackle the problem. Half the fun is figuring things out.

genuinely think SOD will be a mystery box until naxx and itll then come out in classic + with new raids bosses , i think the majority of the new end game content is just testing the water for C+

No. I dont want new stuff in classic I want the old stuff harder. First disable world buffs in raids they are just annoying. And speedruns are garbage.

I tanked on my warrior in vanilla i never went to other specs because i didnt have the gold. I had to level other characters to have to do those roles. So characters were created specifically so i didnt need to respec

High Elves for Alliance and Ogres for Horde. Both are well established in the classic world. The models already exists. I forget how you can turn into an ogre (i.e. toy or spell), but the high elf model already exists through blood elves in TBC (minus the green eyes). On another note, Blizzard just needs to look at the class changes from Turtle Wow and implement those.

48:34 Exactly. The design of incursions is so off base that it "broke the camels back" for me when it comes to the question of the wow classic dev team being capable of developing a good classic+. I dont think they can. I really dont. I have no faith in them to do so. And they shouldnt try. The other thing that works towards my argument above is the gigantic fk up with adding MoS and balancing (however minor) druids with polearms. To be so off the mark with that change and to think that its ok, only to be schooled by the era community and having to back track tells me once again that they have no idea how to do this nor do they understand classic. Aggrend and his team are not the ppl to do classic+. Unfortunately, the folks that could do it are long gone and tbh this new gen probably worries about being different than whats good for classic+. They talk the talk about loving vanilla and wanting to stay true to it but they dont walk the walk. Its quite obvious unfortunately and imo its a skill issue for them.

Definitely do not make a new zone for the new lore. That is literally what kills the existing world. Why would you put something relating to Uldum in a zone thats on the Eastern Kingdoms, for example? Or why would they make quests for the gates in Azshara in a new zone thats based elsewhere. Make the new lore quests in the places they exist...right? So like, the worgen gates in Silverpine, the Timbermaw hold gates in Azshara, the blasted lands beach, Uldum gates in Silithus. The list goes on

Blizzard should hire the Turtle WoW team to do Classic+, since the Turtle folks actually know what they are doing & have some creative vision (unlike Blizzard these days).

Part of the problem with the surveys are they are only sent out to active subs, not subs that have been active in the last 12 months. So the feedback they get only comes from the folks who like the current state of the game enough to have a sub, not all the folks who played a bit then left because the game wasn't fun for them to play. That means most of these surveys are sent out at the lowest level of sub counts ensuring that blizz devs only get confirmation basis that what they have done is good, as all the people who didn't like what they have done are no longer subs and don't receive a survey. I think they should do a runescape like process where a survey is sent out to all subs that have been active in at least the last 12 months and everyone is able to vote. All changes are approved by 70% of the community and everything else is kicked to the curb. There is a place for experimentation, especially for season servers, where something is tried and feedback is taken to see what things should be kept and what things should be thrown away for the next season. A survey would be great for every player that played on the season server where they are asked to write in the things they really enjoyed and the things they didn't enjoy to improve the next season. The problem won't be fixed in a day but the hope is that things will improve over time.

If Blizzard would be 30% or 40% as competent as the Turtle WoW team we would actually get a good game. I tried SoM and SoD hoping they would finally produce something decent.. all these games Blizzard comes up with are such soulless, zero imagination crap, totally incompetent. If Blizzard would release a classic + I doubt it will be any good or comes anywhere close to Turtle WoW, my faith that Blizzard drops good games died somewhere in 2014/2015 never purchase a game from them after. At this point they should just copy turtle WoW and say they did all the work and after as usual make the game worse every phase lmao.

At this point make it a seasonal realm with transmog mounts ect ect and every season has new stuff to get every year u r reset u play throughout the season collecting stuff.. but you always play classic with a different spin on each season

It really is just annoyingly grindy. I can't take it anymore. I have the time to grind for whatever but I'm just so bored at this point. I thought molten core would be fun as I have never done it before and I also expected the heat levels to be based on skill and not how much you can grind gear. It's absolutely insane honestly to think some people have been putting in 8+ hours a day playing WoW at this point. Phase 2 was probably the last time I actually had fun. They added nothing new or fun to the game after phase 1 or 2. It's all just a bunch of garbage runes that don't do anything but buff things they already put in the game.

I completely disagree that the speed run focus end game is a good thing, I think it clearly alienated the vast majority of raiders as this culture seeped into most guilds. I also don't see how speed running can possible be removed anyway, you can always do something and try to do it faster but have it as the only challenge in the game is horrendous. The biggest issue in the end is the world buffs and such that trivialized raids and added such an awful game play loop.
