TWoW doesn't have world buffs in raids but all elixirs and the meta buffs (like ROIDs) last through death. It's fantastic and SoD should do this with world buffs in p4.
Twow is years ahead of what SoD is. I finished a go through on Twow (including naxx clear) RIGHT BEFORE SOD released. what a bummer eh? was already burned out. Recently tried SoD and all it made me want to do was go back to turtle.
Elixir and stuff like that staying after death is a good quality of life.
TWoW classes feel anemic and weak to play. If they remove WB's from SoD, they'd need to bake most of the stats WBs give straight into our characters permanently. "No world buffs" raiding gameplay is multiple times less fun that world buffed gameplay. Like insanely less fun, like WBs make classes feel not just twice, but 10 times more fun to play.

100% makes the WBs persist through death. They want to introduce prog content with the heat levels. That just doesn’t jive with classic wow and world buffs where you lose any chance at progression with one wipe.
Exactly this! It was already hard enough to listen the sweaty parsers whine after wipe in ST. Now with heat levels you prolly gonna have to deal with dispanding groups.

You know just because theres a lot of content to do, doesnt mean you HAVE to do it all. You can do the dungeons you want to. You can probably do MC normal mode in P3 gear. You can probably do all dungeons in leveling gear. You dont need to grind everything for all your characters. Lvling is also fast. The only thing i would consider not "alt friendly" are the runes to grind from previous phases that require groups. You can make the game as time demanding as you want it to.
The MMO brain says you need do it all. That is the problem with these game the feeling of missing out. I quit play WoW now but when i played Cata 2 weeks ago i thinking about daylies everyday. Even not import to do them i feelt i lost progress the days i could not do them. Mobile games have this same thing too, daylies. Things you feel you need to do everyday. Missing out on content dont work for a gamer.

What rune do you need a group for? Leylines is the only one I can think of and you can duo it
I stopped playing SoD after burning myself out. I'm not doing it for phase 4 only to come to the realisation that all this grinding raiding etc etc is going to be taken away eventually when a new season starts.
P3 we had nothing to do (except raid logging ST once a week).
P4 we will have too much to do (yes I know having content to do is great but the door swings both ways at the same time).
Fair chance it will be dead around August.
Some other content creator recently did a poll if you would play/come back for P4 and 67% said no, 23% yes and this was *After* we got the news what P4 will add.

I absolutely wish buffs would persist through death. So many parse runs were ruined because of that. And my raid team isnt the best
SOD got fumbled. They just know that it doesnt matter what they do. People will always come back to wow and waste their hours

a game that is balanced around not having alts, sounds like a game with enough content and drive, to increase the difficulty of leveling?????? Remaster the game to extend its content to being of longer grinds, but worthy rewards. Reset professions for rebuilding in full. Reset spell mechanic library book for re-alignment of mechanical-spells . Re-align all spells in spell book to serve re-aligned abilities for alignment of concepts for editing all abilities to find the prime balance matrix. Re-map all
if leveling is extended, and more entertaining. I feel that , by the time people are raiding. They are exhausted and ready for a nap , lol
To not reward the concept of speed leveling, but to counter spell leveling mechanics with what the game is. The concept of understanding the dark, is to use the light. Not tedious grinds, just more development in the small things, adds up to the top , quick!
tbh I feel like alts have been dead since P3 launch, maybe even P2. Too much work to get a character up and ready to raid, and the raid content takes longer and is harder to organize, so much less incentive for alts.
You can get 1-50 with a full set of gear in 3 days. You make no sense whatsoever

@beallis2k8 he's actually totally right. Incursions made 25-36 take like 2 or 3 hours and 40-50 takes 6 hours and between both your looking at 300 gold. So easy mount purchase. Spells and let's not forget the full 6 piece set with emerald wardens for honored that invalidated most of gnomes gear. Literally LITERALLY just got immaculate Goldsteel helm to drop after 10 weeks of Sunken Temple wearing that damn green helmet. The only true chore in phase 3 is wild offering gear. But Literally nothing else is even remotely gated. If you think the fastest leveling speed official classic has ever had and a free set of insanely statted gear for a fresh 50 is un alt friendly. Quit now before phase 4. This isn't the game for you at all. Retail is the game your looking for and even honestly this is more alt friendly than dragonflight. Think wow in general ain't your game.
@@beallis2k8100% you are wishing you could just buy gear and boosts for money. There is no other reason you would have said what you did given all the actual facts of how insanely easy it is to level and get very competent gear. Your not gonna make it even getting full tier 0 on a char. SoM it took me 58 strat lives before cannon master Willey dropped my rogue shoulders. That is 24 hours + /played so I could unlock rogue 0.5 6 piece bonus which was BiS through naxx and I required to even touch a raid with a guild. Classic is about putting in the time. I'll probably have two characters I pour everything into and all the rest will be mooncloth and arcanite transmute machines.

They want to play Cata and Retail so they don't want to have to raid on SoD twice a week. Meanwhile, people that only play SoD dont get 2 lockouts because the locusts want to migrate. Less opportunity for legendaries for the real playerbase because the locusts want to migrate.
20 man raids in classic is the biggest fuck you from blizzard. It perfectly encapsulates how blizzard objectively doesnt understand the spirit of the game. Sod is just blizzard dressed as retail murdering classic and wearing its skin...

You should perfectly encapsulate yourself in a crawl space. The raids will be more accessible for more people so we can spend more time doing new end game activities instead of signing up in discords hoping to get on a 40 man roster. You just like to complain for attention.
@@Eyeriz96because signing up for 40 man raids definitely somehow makes it more challenging to get on the roster. Are you trolling? 40 man raids allowed you to bring alot of shit players. We saw the effects of a 20 man raid that offered very little leeway in terms of bringing a good/sweaty roster. Difficulty levels is a great change. But as always people begging for 20 mans don't realize they are more than likely asking to be cut out of the roster when it turns out they are Grey parsing and the guild has to replace them for the sake of progression. Or your a retail Andy mythic plusser who thinks this game should be identical to retail. All I can safely say is. You played zero vanilla, zero classic, and zero Season of Mastery to have such a bad take.

@@Eyeriz96AND I am a retail Andy mythic plusser and retired mythic raider. I've played WoW for 20 years. I've seen every ounce of it as it's come out. Have a 3100 IO prot pally and got AOTC last season week 2. As someone that plays and trys that hard. Thats not what classic should ever be. Also the smaller the raid the less socializing you need to and get to do. All terrible things for what classic is.
People need to spend less time playing wow if this is how they feel ffs

tbh Im already a bit tired of SoD. The constant level pauses, doing the raids, where the gear is invalidated in the nextphase all the time. Im not really hyped anymore. And I'd call myself a huge vanilla Andy, even played SoM until naxx. I get that they dont have the ppl to do that all at once, but idk man. I hope they are never doing these level bands again. Doesnt feel too good

bro...stoping coping how bad things can used and without being bad things...such things like world buffs dont need to exist in the first place, its not a "complish" or progression bonus from ya character, its just a toxic aspect of the game thats will create more discursion and toxic AND dont give anything good or fun to the game, just remove all of then.
wow player are super copium nofun mmo players, lfmao, they hate each aspect of fun, qol, and casual thing in the game, and defende system thats dont provide anything fun or good to the game, lfmao, the same ppl who complain about dual spec, is happy thats some ppl can help and change spec faster in some raids fights, this qol improve classic so much, we need more than that, pets ( already exist, but need a system), transmogs, barber and stuff and so on, the problem is not changing the game, the problem is not changing because some folks hate it, its not like transmog will ruin the game, by far of it, will improve, however, at least we need a option to "hide" transmog from ppl, so, everyone thats want to see raid gear, will see, the other who want to look beaty will too(

I love so much the game, but i cant handle the wow comunity ( the "toxic boomer non changes" and "zoomer faster non mmo traits", both make me want to quit)
