Hi Nate thanks for sharing your insights. It's interesting you picked Galaxy for the video. It's probably one of the most divisive hops around. How would you describe the evolution of Galaxy say 10 years ago versus now? Lot of people think Galaxy hops where much better in the past and tbh when I first drank Green I also experienced it much different then how it is presenting now. A recent tasting of Green tasted much more earthy and dank with a sharper kind of grassy note then the Green I've had before. Thank you and happy brewing.

For us homebrewers, we're at the mercy of what Galaxy is leftover after breweries make their selections. Galaxy in 2015-2017 was amazing. It was a cheat code for any hazy ipa to make it a tropical fruit explosion. Since then, Galaxy has been awful. The hop I fell in love with back in 2015, isn't even close now. It's really sad and I can only imagine what homebrews would be like if they could get their hands on the hand selected Galaxy top breweries can get. #bringbacktherealgalaxy

You’re going above and beyond to deliver a consistently unique product to your consumers. I’m curious: is there a point at which you think there are diminishing returns when it comes to hop selection? Do you think the average taster be able to actually pick up on these minute hop profile changes from year-to-year? Or is it worth more than that? It seems to be really difficult to balance art with business.

Great video! To put this into a personal perspective as a homebrewer using local shops for ingredients, do you think there exists some safe/reliable stateside hops that homebrewers can utilize for relatively more consistent results batch to batch compared to something like galaxy?

I hard disagree with you on Coors Light. Cannot even finish a can. And IPAs are WAY overrated, trite, and boring. Soooo sick of seeing half of the brews at the store to be IPAs.

the correct answer is pbr, then mickeys, but here in oregon (beervana) we can get "buck-a-beers" from a couple different microbrews that are much better. out of the three here though, the ranking by flavor is first bud, then coors, and last miller. but bud supported disgusting trans propaganda, so i'm done with them forever.

IPAs are complicated. Depending on how it is made, it can be one of the best or one of the worst beers you can drink. The worst beer style I've ever tried is rauchbier (made with smoked malt). I can't fault the brewer. I'm sure it was true to the style, but blech!

I like Bud Light compared to the other macro light lagers. I’m not a fan of the corn flavor. Bud uses rice which is more neutral and allows for the malt (what’s left of it) to come through more.

Can’t believe they didn’t have Hamm’s on the list. I use to love it when I was younger. 13 dollars for a 30pack. Tried it recently and couldn’t do it. The commercial in the 70’s for it was hilarious. I guy in a jeep with a bear yes bear not beer, driving through the mountains.

Agree with some of them....NA beers, etc. But IPAs? C'mon....nothing better than a Hazy IPA. Enjoyed the vid.

Miller lite is king

Always been CL, ML, BL, in that order for me. Miller Lite & Coors LIght could both be my favorite at times. Bud Light just never has done it for me. When it comes to Anheuser, I like Busch Light more than Bud LIght myself. Bud Select was a good one too.

Belching Beaver, Sam Adams, Fat Tire, Pacifico, Ipa's?? Probably the worst list i've ever seen.

Coors light, guinness and yuengling. My 3 favorite beers.

Miller Highlife has the most body and leaves lacing everytime, which means they are of some sort of brewing quality. Highlife is probably the best budger beer. It kills Budweiser by a lot.
