- It would be hard to overstate our dedication to crafting unique beverages of originality and character. So, it was with great delight that we visited Gladfield Malt, in the Canterbury Plains region of New Zealand.
We were struck by their passion, dedication, and insightfulness on the topic of all things malt. If you like this content, your thoughts in the comments are greatly appreciated - don't be a stranger!

I love seeing these New Zealand trip videos! Its so interesting getting a peak into the agricultural world behind these NZ ingredients.
Amazing🌾
Love this video. So interesting.
♥️♥️♥️
The passion for finding the right ingredients sets you apart! These videos are very enjoyable!
Glad you like them!
I love the production style videos, always learning something new!
Man I’ve been loving these videos! Very informative and makes me love your quality beers even more!
that's really kind of you to say. we're working very hard to be at the bleeding edge of quality and thoughtfulness with our work.
I live close to gladfield , I solely use their malt and make great beer.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love trying to different base malts and yes they make a difference .
one of the biggest differences to be honest
Gladfield have a few recipes on their website, I brewed the Red IPA they have up there. Excellent beer. Any chance you could share a recipe of yours using NZ ingredients? Nice seeing that you have come over here to New Zealand by the way! :)
I only use Gladfield malt and have always wondered how it stacks up internationally. Really cool to see you guys take such an interest in them and even use them in a couple of your recipes. That’s so awesome
It's so good!
I only brew with Gladfield, exceptional malt for exceptional beer!
Loved this video from the visit! 🔥
Glad you enjoyed it!
Evening Nate.
Some great single malt whiskys coming out of NZ
maybe its because anyone can legally distill at home, thus opening up the world of craft distilling.
Their malted maize makes some really nice not-bourbons.
Maybe its time to do a malt tasting video! I always chew on the grain to compare the flavor between batches. I've noticed interesting differences between like eg. Briess vs Mecca Grade or Deer Creek here in PA. I'd love to know more about what makes each malt unique.
Great idea!
The carbon footprint of NZ malts is factored in I’m sure but still insane
interestingly Gladfield is working to be Carbon Neutral
@@treehousebrewco so rad. I more so meant the transit but i’m not one to talk. Lining up some treehouse beers to get muled on an airplane to the west coast next month.
Mate. They could be the most Kiwi, Kiwis in CZcams history.
