YUP, I’d say that is purple.

When I've brushed on Rustoleum white directly out of the can, I found it yellows over time. Will that happen here?

I paint canoes with Rustoleum but I do use enamel catalyst, a Harbor Freight gun and the boats look awesome. 70-30 ratio does work well.

I give a 4 , the pearl worked great with both colors.

How long do you allow the Rustoleum to flash for before you spray the Clear?

What color primer do you recommend for that color Rust-Oleum 2x?

Hello, On one of your recent videos you sprayed a panel with the Chameleon Powder but you did not say which one you used. You said it shifts from Orange, Pink, Yellow, Amber, Gold. Oasis almost looks lighter than spray out cause of its shimmer , but other color reminds me of GM plastic purple 5x5 both colors are wicked

you didnt get the general explanation on 1k and 2k. 1k is air dry and 2k is a 2 part where activator is mixed together.

first one that was so so definitely not feeling it .. maybe it was the video and way it came through but like seeing the lighter color options I'm not wanting a dark color this build so keep going with them.... would like to see something that would stay black but have some color in it I'm running tinted taillights on a vehicle and want them to blend in to a graphic I'm running clear on another and a light color will be running through the taillight area ya I'm weird like that 😂 anyway great videos

Little off topic. Flat black rustoleum primer. Can it be clear coated for uv protection? What clear could you use to keep the flat look or even flat mat? 2k preferable.

Amazinghow much difference that base coat makes in the final color. The light blue mostly looked metallic where the midnight blue would look purple at one angle and blue in another. Cool stuff.

I kinda like the transition between the light and dark on the same fender! But pearl always looks better on dark colours, IMHO.

Fling green in the chameleon is green, blue, gold and red

I did this exact same thing to my Toyota solara before it finally died. I had a great time doing the whole process. I misssss that car and how it looked.

I like the cherry red on there. I’ve shot a bike one time with black cherry metallic from sikkens brand paint and it turned awesome. The bronze looks good too though so I’m going to have to give them both a 4. Pretty cool video and interesting idea for the video

White is a great choice hides a lot.

Looks great over the black, and much cooler than I thoover the red

I actually expected it to be a lighter teal over the white, and a dark teal over the black but they Bo look good

The hot setup for a metallic grey is 3 silver Rust-Oleum 2 parts oil base black gloss looks amazing

Maybe if you spray the color shift it would present better but I see what you mean tho

You should also add that after you activate the clear, you have 48 hrs to use it.

Came out really good except it has considerable orange peel. Can the rustoleum paint job be cut and buffed like a traditional car?
