I ain't gonna lie, I thought this was gonna be hideous, but I don't hate it. It actually looks pretty decent.

That is unusual. In the Sun it looked almost like metalflake because the pearl showed up so much. Maybe because of the contrast in colors.
It looks like the green almost disappears and leaves the flake . Thank you sir for all your efforts here.

Actually, I like that combination ! When the weather gets warmer, I have a molten black mica pearl im going to mix in the clear on a 3 year old rustoleum silver on my old f 250 . Not sure what it will look like, hopefully it looks ok

If spraying a whole car, it would definitely have to be done all at the same it (with things like the bumpers fitted) as you'll never be able to replicate the pearl exactly!

I've got a silver '95 crown vic with a dark blue interior. I was wondering what a light to medium gray with light blue or sapphire pearl clear would look like. Could you try that out on the fender?

You certainly had guts to try that combo, it sure sounded strange (like pickles and ice cream). I'd rate it "fair" not my favorite but not a failure.

Looks like the pearl got washed out by the basecoat. Thanks for the experiment. You never going to know what might transpire if you don't try it.
I have a project named Midnight Maroon. It's a 1979 Ford F250 that I'm working on getting back on the road. I'd love to have you help me find the perfect color combo for this truck. I'm going to be painting my truck and want a flat finish...have you done any flat clear with and without pearl?
Yes they spray out is much like in this video but Finish 1 makes a good flat and satin clear coat if you wanna look into it I'll be it on future video as well thanks for watching
