I like that you’re shooting a pearl over two different bases to really show the difference and I also like the 10 minute format. It’s just about right. Good video thank you.
I like it all master painter
I liked the colors changing in the sunlight thanks
It made the green have a nice pop, it really made the gray interesting and in a good way. A3.5 for me.
Ok. I really like how this came out. You can still see the original base coat colors and when the light hits it in different angles it changes. A+ 👍
Wow, nice contrast nice pick in base colors. Awesome turn out on both!
Looking great, 4. , that's for sharing
Even though it was more subtle on the green, I give it a 5 on the green, green is one of my favorites. Another Awsome job 😊
2 on the green, 1 on the gray. Thanks for the video.
The gray looks great! I give that one a 5 the green gets a solid 3. Great video Jonathan
They both are great looking
I loved it. Try that over a gloss black.
Dark Gray 5 + Spring Green 5 = 10.
That color of green reminds me of Hondas midori green both turned out cool 5/5
I think I like the dark gray base best. It's a 5
I give you a 5 on both. Man I'm definitely thinking about trying this on my golf kart!!
Green 4.5 and dark gray 4.5. I think they both look great. They gray looked better in the sun vs in your shop. That clear may be cheap but it sure does have a good shine.
That Sharkskin Grey is an awesome 5. The green is a good looking green but shows more as a metallic. Probably Camara caused. 4
5 and 5. Your good to go 😮
Good video. It really made the green pop! 🔥 that grey look really good in the sun also, it was a bit misleading in the shop, but once the sun hit it, it changed. Overall, i like them both. Good job John! 👏🏾
I agree. The grey is was much more evident of the shift. Unfortunately I was hoping that the green would be a little more noticeable. I like green and blue colors and so I would give the green a 2-3 and the gray would be a 5
Yea it's always interesting with these spray outs some combinations work different and sometimes they look good in person but don't show up the best on camera thanks for watching
Cool
keep spray n it and wet n it out
My 1st video so I have no comparison, but they both get 3+ from me. I would paint a car either and be happy.
I give gray 5 and green a 3 👍
5
Green a 3 an the Grey 5
That gray is my favorite color without a clear or effective over it
Over the grey 🔥.. over the green ehh..
I'm still not decided on color shifts but over the gray was different in that one view it was brown. Never seen that shift in one before.
Well, YT got me again, this Brand account thing is nuts.
Yeah CZcams is forever changing things up man which is crazy but oh well right thanks for watching
1 and 1 - either one is meh. Thanks again.
the green a 3 . the dark grey a 4.5.
Looks awesome. I have a quick question every time I try rhae wait what color should I end up tiger stripe in it what do you think I am doing wrong
I would highly recommend you probably watch some videos specifically on tiger stripes and how to eliminate it it can be anything from the way you overlap your coats all the way to simple gun setup sorry I'm pretty vague on this topic but it's a very extensive topic to cover I'll definitely do a video on it in the near future though
Can you link me the exact pearl this was. I want to buy it on Amazon.
amzn.to/3xSslC5 this is the link it's part of a sample kit it's the one labeled blue violet red orange thanks for watching
It's nice but not that awesome, 3 how about a lime green with a orange pearl?
I wanna do this so bad but also worried about ruining my car been thinking about sanding it down she’s black now would I have to spray her black again after the sanding then do the clear color shift? Any tip and help would be great…new subscriber trying to learn new things here
It really depends on the quality of your paint job if you have any scratches etc if your paint job is in really good shape then theoretically you could just wet sand it down with 600 and shoot the color shift over it but if your paint job isn't in perfect shape I would probably say your best off just going ahead shooting it black again with Rust-Oleum or if you want to do it in automotive paint you can do it with an automotive black base and then doing the 2K clear with the pearls in it let me know if you have any other questions thanks for watching
@@WHITLEYAUTOWORKS well do and thanks for the reply and yes this will be my first time ever attempting a task like this trying to do something like how you did your wife cr-v
Yeah it's not hard you just need to take your time with it let the coats tack up really good before you put another coat on until you get everything the way you want it to look and if you have any questions feel free to reach out anytime
New favorite gray.. Noice!!!!
