For Suicide Squad to be disappointing, people must've had some hope for it in the first place. From all that I've seen, almost nobody wanted this game.

These video game companies really need to start letting people who like playing games try their games out to let them know what's screwed up what's boring what's stupid what's fun of course some stuff is subjective but they could get an idea about what nobody at all likes but of course they're not going to do that because they're going to listen to people who don't even play video games like the people who force them to put this Dumbass Enforced Idiology in games that majority of gamers are sick of & they can keep losing money on their shit on a disc or digital dogshit.

Anthem, Starfield, Metal gear phantom pain, Last of us part 2, Resident Evil 3 remake, Halo Infinite. Not all of these disappointed me personally, but they were definitely disappointments to a large portion of their fan bases.

Number 2 wasn't a disappointment, it was exactly as expected after the ME3 failure.

One nice thing about being poor and old is that I'm perpetually a few years behind the times with the games I play. It's actually awesome; by the time I'm playing a game I already know whether it's stood the test of time or not

I remember just taking a few hours and wandering around the world in Saints Row 2022 and realizing...first, someone actually gave a damn about the game world design, but also...I couldn't be convinced that the city was a shitty place to live. It felt disconnected. Like someone was told to make a quirky southwestern style city and forgot that it needed to fit the narrative of being a place where gangs made sense. The whole damn game was just a measure of "what? Seriously? Why?"

Wasn't fallout new Vegas just fantastic, ooh who? Made that one? No way!??

Really sucks that this game flopped, I got it through PS+ and it’s incredibly impressive. Yea needs improvement, but it is an incredibly well made game.

I have no idea why people were so hyped about The Day Before. Nothing about it looked exciting to me. Just looked like a bad ripoff of the division.

Unpopular opinion - I REALLY enjoyed Callisto Protocol. It reminded me a little of a masterpiece that was Butcher Bay. I wish there was a sequel but I think plans for sequel has been scrapped after poor sales:(

Regarding the Nemesis System, an indie game called Star Renegades uses a very similar concept, I don't know how they implemented it tho. They prolly won't get sued because it's a small indie game, but at least it exists.

I'm surprised I didn't see Anthem on the list. I remember how hyped people were for that game, then it broke people's PCs, it released and wasn't very good, then disappointed repeatedly with roadmaps, and eventually the game just caving in.

These guys obviously didn’t play anthem. I’ll never forget the moment I realized what the game was: garbage. Like, how do you go from ME trilogy to the cash grab that was anthem. Loot was terrible. Grind was terrible. Combat didn’t know what it was. Story was junk. The damage calculations were all over the place. But you could fly like Ironman so I guess that was cool 🤷🏽‍♂️
