@@wolfyman1000Did you play the additional boss fight that unlocks after beating the rest of the demo ? You have more skills unlocked in that fight. Check the skill trees

@@RulerX.Yeah I finished the demo as well and it’s pretty cool. Combat definitely feels Dark Souls to me and it’s probably gonna take time to get used to it and understand the parry heavy controls.
I’m getting it simply because IGN and the rainbow parade told me not to. It’s Hogwarts Legacy all over again.
Demo was fun as hell. Really excited for this one.
Actually there's three difficulties
There's Story Mode
Normal Mode
And Normal Mode only using the skin suit and not using any exosuit as the exosuits are what give you a shield.
What's the skin suit you take almost double the damage.
So if you want the third difficulty which they called The Secret hard mode you go on normal and play with only the skin suit on this was told to us by the developer before the demo even released

I didn't know that and did the whole demo in the skin suit.
It didn't feel very difficult at all but I'm assuming it get significantly harder after the demo section.
@@rankcolour8780Have you tried the boss challenge in the Skin suit? It’s a nightmare until you get a certain pattern to use and master parrying. I beat it after like 50 tries.

Not yet, only played the demo yesterday. I hope that's more challenging.
No bullshit it took me 2 attempts to do the normal boss. I parried nearly everything and defo wasn't overleveled.
Game reminds me of a stiffer God of War on Give me God of War difficulty, which I love.

Combat is actually pretty good though and let's face it you aren't staring ar curves and jiggles when you're trying to parry and dogde.
Combat is so much fun. I spent some time memorizing all the combos and unlocking alot of the moves. The parries feel really good and there is a "mikiri counter" which is so fun once you get the timing perfected (first you get a warning flash and then you get another flash to press the input). This game is going to be a big deal within a certain community. Like the kind of people that think Sekiro is goat!
I think Sekiro is goat, therefore, I also am extremely looking forward to this game. You're not wrong.
I’ll be honest giving me a demo before the game and carrying the progress is so nice
There is actually 3 difficulty modes, I play on “rock hard mode” which is just normal mode but in the skinnsuit.

It's Sekiro meets DMC in a Nier Automata world.
It’s obvious I need to explain things about the Sekiro comparison:
Parry dance, posture buildup, and the parry window are all in this game. The parry window feels exactly the same as in Sekiro, meaning how many frames you’re given to execute a perfect parry. So stop saying this isn’t like Sekiro when Sekiro’s 3 core mechanics are present down to the actual parry window

I feel like people gotta drop the it’s like DMC meets comments. It’s nothing like DMC. If you like games like DMC5 for the level of expression you can do with anyone in that game Stellar Blade will probably feel sluggish. But as fan of Souls/Souls likes this game is perfectly up my ally. I just prefer more deliberate combat where the enemy is more aggressive and fights back. It’s definitely Nier/Sekiro inspired.
It's most similar to a souls game with sekiro based mechanics and a world inspired by nier automata
The feel of the combat is almost nothing like sekiro, sekiro is a lot more fast paced and rythym based

I really loved the demo and pre-ordered immediately. Semi open worlds are my favorite kind of game, the combat was fun without being overly challenging, and it had quite a cinematic presentation. Overall, it left quite an impression on me for the kind of games I love the most.
The combat especially, though, was very intuitive and the parry and dodge windows are quite forgiving while still requiring skill and timing, unlike most souls likes. I just personally don't like too much precision in gameplay like in soulslikes, but man Stellar Blade felt like a wonderful balance between fun and skill and visually the combat is spectacular. It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a game!
The gun can be used to exploit enemy weak spots, they show up when enemy has been staggered. You can test it in the 'Boss Challenge' mode.
-you can change the type ammo in the gun by holding down while the gun is aimed.
- since save game Carries over , you could farm rinse and repeat the level with resting and the phone. Just don’t fight the boss at the top of the garage and get your money and skill points on if you want.

Played the demo and it was absolutetly amazing. An actual polished game with good optimization. Buying it directly the 26th.
I played the demo and wasn’t crazy about it but I didn’t cancel my preorder. Mainly because I wanted to support any developer that says “don’t care” to the Sweet Baby Inc BS or honestly the complete double standard in character designs for gaming in general
There are a few accessibility options when you select story mode. Like instead of relying on timing a prompt will show up when you have to dodge or parry. Makes it look more like a quick time event which I found way more fun.

I like that the skill tree has a try before you buy option. Super cool and useful. And for real, the upgrade on perfect dodge makes a ton of difference. Perfect parry still seems to be the way - at least in the demo.

I have faith in Shift Up so I’m preordering the deluxe edition. They treat their players well and if they make a point to say that they’re not doing micro transactions I believe him.
The demo was awesome
You can test out the gun in the boss challenge mode. You can switch between two modes whilst aimming and pressing down on the D-pad there's slug mode and blaster cell mode.
Nice to hear someone talk about the game without the video being focused on how much they hate/love how the main character looks.

"Soyboy" is such a weird one. One of the toughest people I've ever met was a vegan that did yoga every morning. He was a Blackhawk pilot and an incredibly strong man. Lived through more than I'd wish on anyone.

I wouldn’t say more forgiving, considering you can’t move at all while guarding. And also guarding and dodging is not available either since it’s also used for the Beta skills (L1 + O)

Everything I've heard about the game so far hasn't made me super interested but hearing that there's going to be a greater focus on cosmetics makes me more willing to give the game a chance. I love trying different cosmetics for my characters.

I played the demo and was quite surprised in a good way. I never pre order games and that is not changing but I might get the game right after launch if the performance is as good as in the demo.
Side note for non-native english speakers (like me) the game is fully voiced in various languages which I find quite rare. Usually games will have a wide array of languages for subtitles but not for voices. I played the demo in Latin American Spanish and it was quite enjoyable!!
Now if only i wasnt getting deployed the DAY BEFORE release

I know only one BIG FAT reason to play this game and I don't even need to mention it because you guys know what it is.
Already tried the demo, it's better than I expected, I am interested about what is going on and why, gameplay is fun and looking at the pretty is a nice bonus.
If anyone doesn't know you have timed light and heavy attack combos you can mix by delaying button smashes

I could see Falcon dodging every bullet in this video like Neo. It's a good videogame btw
Nier Automata was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the trailer, but when the first cutscene of the demo started I thought to myself "there's no way there's only going to be one survivor as the other ships are blasted off the sky by incoming missiles" *Surprise Surprise*. But oh well other than that and sentient androids coming from space to save alien invaded earth the similarities seem to stop there.
I did quite enjoy the demo, the combat starts slow but it quickly evolves into a much more fluid experience the more abilities you unlock from the skill tree, combat is definitely satisfying, I didn't find the parry window particularly forgiving in my case, somewhere between a Soulslike and Spiderman 2, but you do get used it after a while.
Character performances were ok but not impressive in the demo I hope we do get to see a bit more emotion (I know they're robots but still anyone who played Nier will understand), I do like the potential of the game, definitely will give it a shot, but the amount of inspiration it's taking from other series places great pressure on them to do good and different enough.

Can’t wait for this game. Had a blast with the demo. Already have the digital deluxe edition on pre-order and might pick up a copy of the physical edition to support the game even more.
Love the demo, can't wait for the full game. It plays sort of like a souls game, study the monster movements and learn when to dodge or parry. Perfect parries is the way to go, with a special high damage attack available after a number of PPs. Thankfully you don't need to do the PPs in succession to open up the special.

Ikr? I downloaded the demo and like it very much. But... won't be buying it right away. We'll see how their first day goes.
Because it's boring. If they weren't relying on the sex appeal and controversy of Eve, it never would've gotten so much attention to begin with. It doesn't do anything new or ground breaking, it's main player base is just horny people or people thinking it's like DMC.
If the boss challenge is anything to go by the combat gets flashier the more you level up and upgrade.

I've pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the game, and I don't get it either why they put exp and gold in the bonuses. I think that's part of the game to earn it while playing. So it's more annoying to start with, then a bonus if u ask me.
In part reminds me of Metal Gear Rising Revengance. Especially with the exospines. Ordered today.
If you choose story mode but with the skin suit then it may be slightly easier or a little harder than normal mode so that is good choice for those that want to enjoy the skin suit.

I think unlockable content by doing in game stuff is more of a motivation to play the game. Especially when there are unique ways to do so! More games should have this!
I played the demo in story mode and despite not being soul's like enjoyer I was impressed and had a lot of fun. Once I got my head around the parry timings (something I'm not great at) it was still challenging but very enjoyable and off the experience of the demo I pre-ordered the full game

I'm obsessed with the Naytiba designs more than anything. They have the hand crafted look that you get from horror movies with practical effects. Very fleshy and bloody. I think I recall skimming over something about how they hired an actual Hollywood monster designer who uses clay models?
I just wish twitter freaks would stop obsessing over Eve's design. It's like the "Mass Effect is a sex simulator" news story all over again. Blender brains just want to be mad 24/7 whenever something isn't the way they want it.

It's pretty cool that this game is getting so much support. It looks like a lot of fun.
I'm going to dub this game a Souls Slasher, a game that borrows from both the souls genre and hack and slashers. It honestly feels really good, and once you upgrade your parry and dodge, it definitely picks up some speed. It never got to Neir's level, but it was a noticeable change from when you first start. The only thing that irks me about its design is how you can only upgrade your skills at a rest area, even though they let you see your skill tree outside of those specific areas.
