If you think wasting 3 minutes climbing to get a middle finger is bad, then what is Breath of the Wild wasting hours collecting Korok seeds, just to reward you with a golden turd?
Same thing with Tears of the Kingdom, except the golden turd has an extra coil.
@@Grimm196 Seriously?! Wth... 😂
I didn't know that. I haven't played through TotK
@@corey2232 I've played TotK and am not gonna bother getting koroks since I saw a video of someone getting the new golden turd
Yeah. Japanese humor lost me on that one. Or two
I mean you can upgrade your inventory with them along the way
There’s alternate versions of the peeping tom encounter in RDR2. My favorite one is a couple lying on a bed together, completely strung out on opium, telling each other how much they want to… have sex… but, instead of anything happening, the woman passes out and the guy falls off the bed and hits his head on the floor, also knocking himself out.
Arthur just comments to himself “man… imagine being this pathetic… it’s almost sad” or some shit 😂
"you're OJ Simpson, this flower is Norm MacDonald" is wild😂
That was such a good fucking reference.
People who lived the 90s are absolutely WILD
Normie, Normie, Normie....
1. In South Park the fractured but whole, if you remember or use a guide to get the door code to the basement, Cartman will roast you as being Tom Brady, meaning a cheater
2. you could probably fill up a whole list with a Nolan North Deadpool game. One example is that if you’re going the right direction and fighting the enemies it will say something like “you know you’re going the right direction because you’re fighting enemies.”
Or if you just know the south park series the code is quite obvious
@@jrm967 exactly, it's not cheating if you guess correctly.
@@LordJaric yeah but try telling that to a psychopathic child lol
@@jrm967 Ye, I guessed it the first time and cartman roast caught me off guard 🤣🤣🤣🤣
15:00 You climb all the way up there, just to get the middle finger, TWICE! Once in the graphics, once in the "you wasted all that time to get here, waste more getting back."
Truly an epic-level trolling. I can't even hate the devs for doing that, it's just so well-executed, just like the swinging log that breaks free and rolls back.
"The GAMER is a special breed with unique evolutionary instincts and well developed and highly attuned senses"
No one has ever made feel so unique
Just don't buy skins in full priced games
I've never heard of that #1 game, but just 2 hours ago, I joked to my wife playing FF7 Rebirth that it'd be funny if one of those radio towers with optional additional climbing had nothing but a poster with a middle finger on it.
What about Prey's "Treasure Hunt"? If you try to cheat your way to the reward, which I'm sure many have tried, you get the "Game Master’s Ire" fabrication plan, which is a suit chipset that will decrease the yield of recyclers, reduce your speed when crouched, and make your flashlight batteries deplete faster. The exact opposite of the proper reward, "Adventurer's Toolkit."
I mentioned this and the double-arm conversation you can get when you do the second-to-final step for both endings.
I know it’s a small thing and maybe didn’t belong on the list, but 2B swiping the camera away in NieR, when it got too ‘up-skirty’ is pretty ‘cheeky’ too. They set that trap well lol
That’s actually cool, Now if only she could teach Ashley the same technique 😂
Ah, yes. A quintessential Falcon video to make Sunday better. ❤
Honorable mention: trying to use the 'iddqd' cheat code in Heretic. It's god mode from Doom but in Heretic it kills you for being a cheater.
It's really impressive how every falcon video is always one every gamer can relate to
Well, he and jake is gamer at heart, that's why i love their content
THIS ‼️
I mean they literally have a team of people who help them with these
Next list should be best ambushes in gaming. Starting with the statue who follows you down a ladder in Dark Souls 2, Lothric castle?
I want a list of 10 gameranx lists that do not have a Soulsborne game in them.
I imagine Falcon has a tally going similar to Rob's Friday Features MGS references. 😆
@@torgranael lol, I remember one list going through the whole video thinking they finally made one only for #1 on the list to be Dark Souls II. SO CLOSE!
I REMEMBER THAT ONE
I’m going to play read dead 2 for the first time this week……
Man you’re lucky, have fun. Give it its due time, don’t rush things. And if the first few chapters seem boring for you, just keep going and be patient.
gl hf!
Don't do the Thomas downes mission, don't
@@ruhansama5842stop. Let bro enjoy the game.
Enjoy….i just beat it for the first time a couple of nights ago. Wooooweeee is all I’ll say
In reference to "Alone In The Dark": I always found it irritating when games stopped you from accessing combination locks. The average eight year old can be taught to feel the tension on a combination lock and know when the tumblers line up. It isn't cheating. It's real-world mechanics. We have vibrating controllers. Sensory feedback is used to crack combinations. This isn't rocket science.
I believe the term is rocket surgery
@@bigcheese82I thought it was brain science?
I love it when GameRanx posts, best day ever
Another day, another video to enjoy from Falcon!
Number 1 wins video game designer award of all time.
Bloodborne: I can't believe you didn't make a Home Alone 2 reference.
There's actually one more call out in Undertale if you try to talk with Toriel after reloading. And it's not the only situation that happens either. Or if you reload to the start after playing the game for a while. There's a lot of dialogs you wouldn't expect
I was very happy to see the reference to Ultima games and killing Lord British. Such a blast from the past.
Thank you for the Norm McDonald joke!
This channel will always be my favorite!
🤝
The undertale one messed me up I didn’t realize the game could do that and it made me love undertale all the more
Been looking at your videos for years now. Loooove every video ive seen =) never stop what ur doin :D
I love that you added a clip from Martin in this lol
4:57 speaking of AC Brotherhood. Doesn’t she play Lucy?
The timing of the Kristen Bell Shrug seems misplaced at the beginning of 7 when she should have been placed at the end of number 8 for actually being Lucy in AC.
Stanley Parable can read the players minds, so theres just that game entirely. But the jumping out of the windows to "jump out of bounds" one is funny. Also, i love the Norm joke.
For those who liked lisa, remember, there are a lot of fangames of it in gamejolt, some even better than the original and definitive edition
One of the best exploitation of gamer brains is Far cry 5. When one of the bosses(Jacob I think) kidnaps you he puts you through a shooting gallery. This happens everytime and by the 4th time, everyone is tired of it and just trying to get through it as fast as posible.
Well that 4th time, in the story, you are actually attacking your own base and allies and the game has successfully brainwashed you into killing people in that base xD
@gameranx IM STILL WAITING FOR A "TOP 10 GAMES THAT FEEL LIKE MOVIES" VIDEO
As in games that make the player feel like an action hero, or games that are more cinematic and QTE than actual gameplay? I could see both being done as movies.
That’s just the Sony exclusive list
Hi Falcon, it’s Folks here and we are going to enjoy this video!
Wow did you ever slaughter the pronunciation of Sheoggoraths name.
You slaughtered Uncle Sheo's name too. There is only one g in it.
Human fall flat gives you an achievement, when you skip parts of a level. The devs knew that someone is gonna try to do that. I was super suprised when i got it, because i didn't knew about it beforehand
I am Disappointed lollipop chainsaw wasnt on this list especially with the achievement you get for looking up her skirt.
Love how Arthurs response to being shot at for peeping is just “yeah my fault bruh”
I get high while I watch Gameranx… thought you should know
the Lisa troll.... i almost chucked on what i was eating xD
that last one was bloody hilarious !! :D
Shooting the elevator speaker in Max Payne 1 should've been in this list.
Fuck.
I'm old...
In RDR2, NPCs notice if you're (stalking) following them.
That's crazypants.
I assume the Lucy followed so closely by real like Kristen Bell was intentional.
Add the Stanley Parable on the next compilation!
Specifically the Closet ending.
Man...I put about 130 hours into ONE playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3 and still see so much stuff that I missed. I somehow missed that scenario entirely.
Haven't watched yet, but Earthbound immediately comes to mind. Hope it's on this list!
9:15
making it an easter egg/collectible is the right move, not even mad about it
Can I just say Thank You for always having chapters, you guys rule! other channels pee me off and don't get my full view for not including this, its cheap, so Bravo! for allowing me to skip if needed, it is appreciated.
14:50 "Weapons-grade trolling"... I gotta remember that one.
Oblivion is still one of the best games out there
1:39 mans be speaking facts 👏
hello gameranx im eating my breakfest too watch your guys video today thanks and good morning🥞🥞
That last middle finger is brutal, worthy number 1
'You are O.J Simpson, the flower is Norman Mcdonald' That really made me laugh, does that make me a bad person? Do I even care? lol 😂
South park saying you're a cheater for using Cartman's door code before the game tells you it. I literally went straight to the door, messed around and thought this sounds like a cartman phrase and the game called me a cheater.
#1 is absolute distilled EVIL, I love it so much.
Nice
Thanks
Number 2 is the origin of the Lock Picking Lawyer, and number 1 is just funny as hell😂
Love it thanks for the vid
Bloodborne one is just Pure Madness
Some say the soulsborne series is a piece of comedic art and by scenes like that it's hard to argue.
Nolan North being the voice of 2 major Franchises in the mid 2000s
As someone who's never played Assassin's Creed, and hearing Falcon describe it as "Uncharted-like," then hearing Nolan North in the clip, I had to pause and hit up Google on that one.
I never really thought about it, but the fact that Sheogoroth can do that means it was pretty pointless to make us fight the lord of order for him.
In Mario Odyssey, there's this one "out of bounds" area you could only reach by doing a some super long and super high chain jumps. The devs actually put a large pile of coins in that "secret" area. It's not even a curious looking area. It's as out of bounds as they come, yet the devs expected some people to try and go up there.
Why put an adamantium lock on a plastic fence? "There's no way we can break this lock!" "What about the fence itself? Seems pretty flimsy...."
You had me interested with that thumbnail
nice video man
Ive played through Bloodborne at least a dozen times, and I had absolutely no idea that log trap broke off, I always just roll past it
literally cant stress enough how good that was for undertale. It worked out exactly like that on my first play through and i was not expecting the game to remember cause yeah its a save in the past. It sent shivers down my spine and i was very confused. Even if you play it multiple times and decide to do like a good run and then a bad run people remember and stuff. I know he's said choices in Deltarune wont matter but im calling BS right now, he's tricking us again for sure.
I actually just finished high on life game, my favorite parts of the game calling you out in that game is the guns asking why you are always sprinting, those always made me smile and laugh
Last of us 2 had a similar type of dialog if you open something without having found the combo on your own, Dina will say "How did you do that?" , and Ellie replies, "Magic"
That last one got me. 😂
In both GOW Ragnarok and Jedi Survivor NPC companions note if you go off the clearly shown path to look for loot. e.g Heimdall makes note if you pick stuff up when he's showing you Asgard
1:14 He's staring at the wood(wall), Nothing wrong here..Carry on sir😂
I love when they include games never even heard of.
I love that Fromsoft learned from Home Alone 2
I have played RDR2 countless of times and I have never seen this encounter. The game is still surprising to me nearly 6 years later.
That introduction sounded like a National Geographic documentary
I'd add in South Park Fractured But Whole, I know that in the summer camp/monster dlc in Nathan's cabin there is a safe that if you try to open without finding the passcode numbers first will have Eric Cartman troll and shame you. Stumbled on this by complete accident since I actually guessed the right combination so I have no clue if this works the same way with all the other electronic locks in the game.
Very creative idea for a video. You guys had to be high to think of this one.
My favourite moment of this in undertale was when i reloade and interacted with the echo flower before talking to the npc that explains it. I died laughing xD
Hmm... good idea for a video Gameranx folks 👍
Nothin like Falcon on a Sunday morning 🍻
There's God of War Ragnarok where boy tells Tir that you're looking for treasure when he asks what you're doing😂
"Luckily the beams still hold our weight!"
*SLAM*
On oblivion my guy was so glitched he survived that fall
14:00 - I just think it's great that the killer from "Too Many Cooks" is starring in his own game, now.
my biggest gripe with RDR2 is how sensitive the wanted system is when people weren't as delicate in those days...everything else about the game is practically perfect
Maybe modders will fix it one day, to get it harder to get in trouble for such small stuff.
Wow something unique I didn't know any of this
👍
Final Fantasy VII Remake...when you go to get the Chocobo and Moogle Materia hidden behind the fan, Barrett will start taunting you by saying you have taken a detour from your main objective to go on a treasure hunt.
Lisa was so insane.. This made me laugh so much after the the fact... And more cautious..
There's more than a few on those Peeping Tom moments in RDR2, each with a different view.😂
If I'd have done that for 90 seconds, I would have laughed. You take your chances with all the nooks and crannies
That last one was awesome
Lol now I wanna play Bears in space and Lisa 😂😂
with #1, no joke, I ragequitted at that exact moment haha
I feel for the Forbidden Woods trap in bloodborne, and I'm disappointed in myself, because after years playing this games, I should have known.
I missed all the Bloodborne "story/campaign" traps by pure happenstance.
“The gamer is a special breed”
👍
