You Can Show A Picture Of Prophet Muhammad? (Quran Islam)

It's very common to hear Muslims giving backlash when a cartoon or TV show has depicted the Prophet Muhammad as a character. This is because, in conventional Islam, depicting any of the phorohets or any religious figures is considered to be outlawed. Thank you for this video! I have a formative childhood memory of my mother (a convert) conversing with other sisters at a social gathering where one of them started lecturing the others for letting their kids listen to music. My mom was genuinely confused and asked where in the Quran it was prohibited. It accidentally sparked a bit of debate and social drama, because my mother's thinking was in line with your own - the Quran shouldn't require sequels, why wouldn't it be in the text if it truly mattered? Anyway, I'm really enjoying your content, and appreciate you putting these videos out there to interrogate some of these ideas that are cultural rather than spiritual, in the spirit of helping others make informed decisions about our own practices.

Something i noticed between traditionalist islam and real(quran only) islan is that real Islam doesn't destroy another country's culture but improves it like getting rid of alcohol, usuary, drugs, sex before marriage, and etc while traditionalist Islam basically replaces it with Arabic culture.

The problem isn't whether it is forbidden or not - the problem is there are no historical images/paintings of them, so we don't know what they looked like. Not having images of prophet Mohamad is correct. If you make him a cartoon of him, you "cartoonize" him and make his message less real in the minds of people subconsciously. If you get an actor to portray him, you have associated that actor's face to the prophet, and depending on who that actor is, you can produce many different subconscious connotations in the minds of people... people would say "Muhammad, the Rolex commercial guy"... then a year later "The Rolex commercial guy got caught with a prostitute" => subconscious connotations in the minds of people. I do not believe in Hadith, but we should not go to the other extreme and cancel the prophet's special place in our hearts. Had he been alive, his words would have been binding to all of us. We don't reject his words, we just understand that the books they have are not a historically correct representation of what he said. We also believe God's description of the Quran "God has left nothing that He did not explain in he Quran". Christians converted Jesus to a God. That should not make us lose Jesus' special place in our heart. Likewise, we should not go to the other extreme and cancel the prophet's special place in our hearts - The Quran tells us to pray for him and says God and the angels pray for him. Be moderate in your religion. Don't follow books written by men... and don't go to the other extreme.

It's ridiculous BUT you refraining to go is simply making things worse for others who wants to go (who are obligated to go). It's the same obligation on you too regardless of what Saudi is doing with (part of) that money.. Remember: Allah does not put burden of sins which you didn't commit, Saudi lawmakers will be questioned about it, not you. The so called Quranists are correct, so far as the Hadith have been authorized without approval of Muhammad, or even his companions, centuries after canonization of the Quran, and rejecting the Hadith for the sake of argument is necessary to prove the Quran as a complete and self-sufficient book, but after all, the Quran itself remains a vague and disorganized book, either because people who supposed to transmit its data have died before the canonization, or because Muhammad himself have died before the book was fully revealed and organized, so the Quran is now incomplete, or absolutely dependent on other books like the Hadith, which makes up for those loses, including the missing context for the Quran, most of practical guidance, and all data about Muhammad and founding history of Islam.

Thank you for the lovey comment! And it’s a shame that it’s not possible to publicly state that you follow the Quran alone in turkiye. It’s somewhat similar in the uk in some places. If you keep to yourself and talk occasionally about your beliefs, it’s fine, but if you have a platform and try to express your views to other Muslims, I think it could be dangerous. But my journey to this conclusion happened when my now wife asked me to look into Islam when I first met her. I wasn’t Muslim at the time, but I had read the Quran and loved researching religions. The more I looked into it, the more the Quran seems true, but the Hadith was full of contradictions. Then I looked into the possibility of following the Quran alone and whether that was supported in the Quran. Lo and behold, that’s exactly what the Quran talks about 😅

Hello, brother. I have been reading the Quran, delving into its word-by-word root meanings. I must say this approach diverges significantly from the usual traditional teaching. Please understand that I don't intend to diminish the value of conventional traditions; everyone has their unique path to connect with God. However, from a rational standpoint, traditional method poses challenges for me. To be candid, it doesn't quite resonate with me when the Prophet (PBUH) recites the Quran, he asserts that much of it is specifically taking about him, his people, and his time. I'm not suggesting that I'm deviating from the traditional view; rather, I've gained an additional perspective on the Quran. Discovering your video in my recommendations felt like a blessing because I thought I was the sole individual with this viewpoint. I find it truly fascinating to encounter diverse, rational, and truthful interpretations of the Quran. Peace to you brother 🌟

When we die we return to the dust. Heaven and hell do not exist yet. The Quran confirms the previous scriptures, in that at the day of resurrection the earth will be renewed and the righteous will inherit it. Paradise will be on this earth, not in another realm. According to the bible and the Quran, man has no soul but IS a soul/life (nafs) which is alive BY the spirit of God. So basically when we die we are going back to the same state when we were not born yet. Our second birth will be from 'mother' earth. The day *We fold up the heaven like the folding up of a scroll* for the writs. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it - a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We are the doers. And We decreed in the Psalms after the remembrance: “My righteous servants will *inherit the earth* .” [21:104-105] And they will say: “Praise belongs to God who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us *inherit the earth* - *we may settle in the Garden* wheresoever we will!” And excellent is the reward of the workers! [39:74] "The righteous shall inherit the Earth, and live in it forever" (Psalm 37:29) All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and *the heavens rolled up like a scroll* ; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree. [Isaiah 34:4] “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. [Isaiah 65:17] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. [2 Peter 3:12-13] The sunni concept of the Messiah is a corrupted version of the bible. At the end times Jesus will return as the Messiah and God will resurrect the death. The Judgement of God will happen through His Messiah King. We find also references to it in the Quran: And they will call out: “O Mālik (King): let thy Lord make an end of us!” He (the King/Mālik) will say: “Indeed, you will remain.” [43:77] And the sky be split asunder for it, And the Mālik/Mulk (King/Kingdom) on its borders; and there will bear the Throne of thy Lord above them, that day, eight. that day, is frail, [69:16-17] “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. [Matthew 25:32] I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. [Revelation 21:2] What do you think?

Hadiths cause disunity and division of the ummah. There are no sects in Islam. We should be muslim only and follow 1 way. The quran!!! Quran is the last Hadiths. All religions were perverted because of hadiths. And we shouldn't blindly follow the scholars. We should study the quran front to back before we ever pick up a hadith book. The quran is the only trusted book 100%. Why would we trust anything else?? Stop saying people who follow the quran reject the Prophet. And stop calling them kafirs. They follow the Prophet exactly what he brought by Allah. The QURAN. Not some telephone tag game of he said she said he said 300 years after the death of the Prophet!!!! Too many fabrications too may weak hadiths. Why both when we have the truth trusted entirely in the quran???? The Prophet came with the last book!! The quran!! All those hadiths are man made. Allah is perfect. The quran is from Allah. I encourage everyone to find what is in ALLAHS BOOK THE QURAN. exactly where the WORD HADITH IS MENTIONED IN THE QURAN. The QURAN CLEARLY WARNED ABOUT THE HADITHS THAT WOULD COME AFTER HIS HADITHS. (QURAN) WHO DARE IS GOING TO FOLLOW ANYTHING AFTER THE PROPHET AND WHAT HE BROUGHT THE QURAN. 100% trusted unchanged and leads to the straight path!!! IF YOU DONT KNOW THE QURAN and if u didn't study the quran don't waste your time sifting through fabricated and weak sayings of the Prophet. When those were compiled 300 years after his death by people much less them hi. And they claim so and so said that so and so said that so and so said... that finally the Prophet apparently said??? Use your heads people. Don't blindly follow the main stream scholars BECAUSE ALL THE UMMAH IS SUFFERING so we NEED TO GO BACK TO THE QURAN. QURAN ONLY. AND Allah will show you all the truths plain and simple easy FOR EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND. May Allah destroy the enemies of Islam who seek to destroy our beloved ummah by leading away the people who have no knowledge. Get your knowledge from the quran. It's 100% trusted. Nothing else is better then the words of ALLAH!! ALLAH GUIDES WHOME HE WILLS. May Allah guide everyone who seeks truth to this truth and may he destroy all falsehood and expose the evil doers. Ameen!!

The idea about the masjid is a place of sanctuary where communities get together to serve those that need serving in God's name. It is not solely a place to pray.

TO END THE „QURAN ONLY“ SECT: 4:113 „And if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you, [O Muhammad], and His mercy, a group of them would have determined to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you at all. And Allah has revealed to you THE BOOK and WISDOM and has taught you that which you did not know. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great.“ Clearly according to this verse Allah has revealed the Book which is undoubtedly the Quran! And now SHOW US THE WISDOM Allah revealed to the Prophet? Where is it? Is it lost? Is not preserved? Please USE YOUR INTELLECT and DON’T FOLLOW YOUR WHIMS AND DESIRES.. If you take only Quran you will miss the wisdom and become a bunch of cunfused people..I have warned you!

hello! i just want to ask. since the Shahada is not in the Qur'an, would that mean that a non-muslim can convert to Islam all by himself by submitting himself to God and follow the Qur'an?

Who do you think shahada is for? God knows all things do you think he needs a shahada to judge you? Or that God can be tricked by an insincere shahada?

No where in the Quran does Allah says you have to be Muslims to believe in me and my book. If that's what you mean. Quran was sent down to the whole mankind. Allah says in the Quran that you can keep your religion. So as long as people believe in Allah and all prophets they are the believers. Jesus and Moses were not even Muslims, they were here before Quran was sent down but they believed in 1 God. And there are some Christians and Jewish who also believe in 1 God. That time they did not follow the words of the prophet's after the prophet's were gone from this world. Jewish, Christians and Muslims did not obey the prophets. Btw, Allah says in the Quran that Christians and Jewish are also the believers, but not all, just like Muslims. And also Allah says in the Quran that you have to believe in the book Allah sent before Quran also.
