This isn’t even restoring, it’s sanding and painting basically lol @me when you have a rusted Swiss cheese mess from salt country
Where’s the link to the wire wheel you used
16 inch wheels. Great for puddle jumping.
Those damn old 6 volt systems were horrendous. Great video.
Classical music is antithetical to 1948 Plymouth Specials. I have studied both. Very nice video I must say.
Oh boy ! I watched both parts, 1 & 2 today ... And didn't scroll forward at all... It was intriguing and soothing at the same time . Great editing and content . 🤓 🔧 🗽
no one likes a recovery video like this =[
You did all the work, and even fast forward to make it easy to watch... For my part, watching... I didn't scroll forward at all, and totally enjoyed watching every second of this clip..! Best regards ! ⛽ 😁 🔧
Starting with some cussing and humility, followed by legit wisdom: signs of a good fire service instructor.
When he pulled the trans and grunted while setting it down.... i felt that.
Good job sir
For me I think that these engines are one of the best engines no matter what company who made them were the best engines to be built because they were easy to repair by even if we were in our early teens by our own hands.
One of the best videos I have seen on this topic. Pure experience shown here.
Torque wrench is one critical tool which he should be using.
My first car in 1956, a 47 Dodge 6cyl.
... Yuppers, always be afraid of those zombies you mentioned ... 😂 😱 👹 🙀 ... Oh yeah, I dig the Plymouth ... 🤗 ...
That frame is way more solid than a lot of newer trucks
Qual o nome da musica q toca ao fundo no minuto 10:26?????
??
Great demo, thanks
That was a beautiful restoration! New subscriber! For myself, I would probably use a gloss clear, but that's just personal preference. I hope you saved that beautiful old Century motor. Eventually, you'll run onto someone who can make it run as good as new. I'm looking forward to perusing your video library.
Good video. Please have the cameraman turn down their radio in the future. Keep em coming, I learned some cool stuff with this one.
para que usar tanta proteccion si usara pantalones cortos
love the choice with murphys
I enjoyed everything about it...authenticity is a feeling....I can feel it from you the way your energy is...when you spiked and it didn't work well and colleague wanted to assist..you said hopd up..on emergency setting things happen and plan may have to be amended...and we are training and this is perfect timing to explain...also you are an instructor...paper is not only way to solidify...you posting and taking passion so others can be effective through real life testimonies you have encountered or learned is fantastic...just found this channel..keep it going my brother..
Pennsylvania? Definitely have a zombie problem. 1st gear isn't synchronized you have to double clutch down shifting into 1st. Nice car!
Give it some gas!!!!!!!! AAAAWWWW!:)
Fantastic video, fast and helpful.

I have a 1950 spec 4 door do you recommend an oil to ?
Does it have fluid drive??
What did you use to clean the paper label? Water? Soap?
I like your appreciation of the old prior technology. It's interesting to see how we arrived at the technology we have today. I really loved the dramatic music. You look like you know your stuff. Nice video!!!
These guys are so good
It looks like I am watch this three years after you made the video, how do you like it three years later ?
It is an great old building and garage.
Learn to double clutch into first or you will wreck your gear box / or come to a full stop before you put it in first . 👍🏻🇦🇺.
Dad had a black 48 Plymouth in the early 60s with the light 💡 on the hood 👍🏻🇦🇺he sold it later and bought a 55 Plymouth black with red trim . 👍🏻yes I grew up with 3 on the tree 🌲 got my license in 73 . Old school MOPAR for life . 👍🏻🇦🇺🇨🇦🇺🇸.
When drilling the slower the better. Your burning and flattening your drill bits.
OSPHO, mineral spirits, then farm paint. Once finished, coat the whole painted frame, inside and out, with lanolin-based coating (Fluid Film or Surface Shield) annually. See Repair Geek's series on this subject.
I feel bad as I believe I caused you to stub your toe pulling the transmission. As soon as I noticed and thought “man flip flops? I’d smash my toes”… BAM it happened. So, I apologize
Nicely done. Just bought a 2007 4x4 Silverado here in Southern Utah. Not much rust on the frame underneath but a bit of surface rust. Wanted to clean it up and paint it so I can go wild 4x4'n. Think you just showed me how!!! Does that tube on the internal rust spray have a 360 dispersal fitting on the end or was it just an open end of the tube? Thanks much, great stuff!!!!
outstanding !
Do you think that a engine crane is a basic Tool?😂😂😂 5:28
It close 200 dollars and if you can’t afford thay, you can’t afford to do a frame off restorations sorry to break it to ya
@@partsandrestoeven if it's cost 200 dollars, I won't include it in the category of basic tools. You need a lot of space and almost a workshop range of tools to do this. I think that's the title it's not correct.
I couldn’t care less what you think.
Tenho um igual para venda.
I have a over drive transition on there also
I put dic breaks on mine a couple of years back
I have a 1947 Plymouth. Am in California
I love the suggestion of using a paint pen to paint the letters. Great thinking!
When working with heavy iron parts.. wear some appropriate footwear. Drop any of the major parts on those sandals and you can make a first aid video.
