Wouldn't it be... how to say it... the most advantageous background you could have for art, psychology, I mean? Art is human resonance response communication, roughly speaking, and knowing how the mind goes from wonder to meaning, on a more technical level, gives ... the largest advantage I can think of? Something like that.
you don't know how much pain you've saved me from drawing roblox characters
I tried this approach of focusing on one thing at a time with music production, but it didn't work. I'd spend a lot of time learning music theory, then practicing writing simple music, then learning about synthesis and sound design, then practice making beats and so on. When I'd eventually try to bring it all together and make a track from start to finish, I'd forgotten a lot of what I'd learned, because I didn't keep practicing things I'd spent time learning earlier on in my journey. Sure, I'd spent months learning music theory, but then I stopped to focus on something else. I was also spending so much time learning and practicing fundamentals to avoid the frustration and disappointment that would entail from being unable to reach my expectations when I tried to make a full track. My practice habits were an avoidance mechanism to a large extent. It was also discouraging to invest so much time practicing something with little creative output; not much to show for it, since I'd been doing exercises and study for a long period. I think if I had just tinkered about and picked up some know-how along the way through trial and error I'd have actually gotten somewhere. I think this is one factor that gives youngsters a creative edge. At a younger age you tend to be less critical, more curious and less likely to get in your own way. Even if you mostly focus on one thing at a time, I think you do need to keep regularly practicing what you've already learned and applying it to actual creative work. You can't just drop practicing one fundamental as you start practicing another, and you need to regularly put what you've learned to work and create something.
❤❤❤❤
This was insanely good
They really need to make a new mannequin that represents the digure better and can be posed better
i hate how i have to draw boxes like bro i just wanted to draw my friend pregnant and now im drawing perspective
YAYYY THANK UOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS SO I CAN DRAW WHAT I WANT LATER ON
I really don't know who this video is for, but it is not for artistic brains! Artistic brains don't need to know how things work. We don't need to know about x, y and z. We just want to be shown boxes drawn in different ways. It's always the same after that. That's it.
OMG that Cinder artwork behind you, so good 🥰Admittedly I chose that book because of its cover and wound up loving both.
Thanks
Porsche GT3 RS 911 2023 or 2024. You can choose
Hello, in France we know that boxes can be sexy... if they are baked in hot oil!! ^^ czcams.com/video/3xY_pCW1mKI/video.html
2:14, 4:06, 6:20 ... Great !!.
I know Kim jung gi is more focus on perspective but I still think he is also better at line than Katsuya
genial
I'm so pissed I bought his domestika course. Such a waste of money! You have better free youtube videos than what I wasted my hard earned money for. Just a bunch of watered down content with terrible editing
Oh I’m sad to hear that. I put a lot of effort in this course to make it as valuable as possible, but like people differ I can imagine it’s not for everyone. Have you tried getting your money back? Within a certain period you can do this. Unfortunately I don’t have a control over this because it’s owned by Domestika. Hope that helps
Thanks a lot for the video, your videos always come out with a lot of information. Really appreciated!
It's bread, the palm of the hand is just a slice of bread XD
Thank you brother. Luv you dude
This guy is a JEAN-ius
i understand it helps to find the base of the cube but i dont see how (aside from arbitrary estimation are we supposed to figure out the remaining walls.. unless arbitrary estimation skills are what we should develop by following with this exercise
This is so entertaining! Thank you!
Loved the explanation ❤️ so clear
I was so proud to understand the tutorial and to sketch in my sketchbook that I completely missed that one point of of the video where you said you have to make that knowledge take smaller space in your brain to take less space for more....and I jumped on the occasion to make a big piece for instagram , combining forshortening, face angle, HANDS, difficult pose perspective, and I master none of them....I felt so confuse and head back to the video again. I'm a frustrated artist who can't draw what he want at the first try, but I'll keep practicing. I'm confused but I got the spirit !
When you quoted "Don't focus on what the world needs, focus on what's your passion. Because the world needs people with passion". I almost started crying.
Yeah
Can you show a whole process of sculpting this into round different forms for both the head and its features ?
3:27 Indian..???
the problem is people defining what is good or bad, what is good for one is not good for the other, so relax and just have fun
It's honestly amazing what you can learn on this website. I went five years to college majoring in "visual arts" or "communication arts" (whatever it is called locally, it's basically the same) and while it has definitely improved my conceptual skills, I feel barely better on the technical site of things. Now I do half a year of CZcams guided tutorial following and boom. Results. My god this feels good!
This is one of the most helpful videos ive ever seen on this subject. Thank you!
Thank you I really needed this video
I struggle with doing the same thing all the time.. I work on something for a couple days/weeks and switch to something else. If I feel like I'm getting an art block I just doodle. And doodle some more. But I also pick up muscle memory quickly.. watching someone or a video and start to do it but step away from their style and put in my own. Just like illustrating a 24 page children's book. Never thought I could draw the same character with so many emotions... but when she asked I never thought I couldn't.. just 5 pages left😁
This really helped me understand what i was struggling with for about a week. I could not for the life of me figure out how to rotate a box easily or on more than one axis (thoigh, even with this method, my solituon is to rotate on one axis and then rotate on another, which is a lot of work and i know there has to be an easier way). The problem im having now is that when i rotate using this method, the points of perspective are now no longer converging anywhere near my horizon line. Like they're not a little off, they're wildly off, so im not really suee what im doing wrong. I think it looks fine in the monent, but i know its wrong
5:15 this animation here is heaven, explains very well and easily
Drawing the ellipses right is super difficult and unless it's perfect the boxes are completely off.....😢
"take a decade or two" 💀
thank u so much
This is the best art advice video I ever seen on the whole internet.
Your head is good example for 3 oint perspective
Nope, cant do it. I dont want to give up but this is just so hard for my brain to grasp

Thank you 😭🙏 I’ve started doodling people and trying to make them look ok is a whole process 😭
Thanks dr.!!!
This is the easiest, short, well to the point video I've ever seen. Most videos I've seen takes along time getting to the point. This really helps me out. Hope to see more tutorials!!!!
