📚 Tom Fox Anatomy For Artists: amzn.to/3pThOlS
In this video, I'll show you how to draw figures in poses that look dynamic. We'll take a look at what dynamism actually is and learn how to apply the four fundamentals (balance, movement, volume and readability) you need to learn in order to make your drawing look alive! For more, be sure to check my Domestika course.
(Special thanks to Marc Brunet @YTartschool for his work showed in the video)

Great videos and clever psychological use use of the Daffy Duck silhouette to induce comment engagement. New subscriber.
haha wouldn't that be something if I did that with intention. We made a mistake, sorry guys!
I'm a beginner artist. I really appreciate you breaking it down like this. Thank you
Fantastic video, but just one small lil thing. That first silhouette was definitely Daffy Duck, not Donald Duck lol
I needed this

Insane quality on your videos. Keep it up❤
can't wait !

Great video
Дякую чуваче 👍🔥
This deserves more views
We’ll get there
Hi Alex, thank you for making this great video, This will help me a lot to improve my drawings, I would love for you to make a video about the great moebius as you did with katsuya terada, I am studying this artist and this would be of great help!
Glad to read Jack! I' m having fun doing this so no worries!
@@thedrDraw ok, Looking forward to it!
dude, I watched before your video the tasm 2 swinging scene and come then to your channel to watch this video.. I reloaded the site like 10 times ( I thought yt is showing me the Spiderman video again), after I realised that the spider clip is in your video! I thought that I got a bug, u trolled me! Sry, I needed to write this down xD great video like always
6:51 is daffy duck! But anyway is a great tutorial and you made it easier to understand.
haha jup, my bad!
Find out your channel today, I always end up losing myself into practice; but I’ll use your suggestion of stickying to figure drawing and volume for one year and try to improve in it; I also paint digitally to relax on the side but is good tactic to study shapes in different way
Yeah give it a try. And let me know in a year! I’m very curious
Your videos are great, can you add Turkish subtitles please?
Videolarin harika lütfen türkçe altyazı ekleyebilirmisin
Ahhhhgggg
You're a troll for that daffy duck switcheroo
Yes it was quite jarring
haha yeah my buddy made a mistake, stuff happens
Tom's books good, but there's a bit of his anatomy that's just downright wrong (the hands and feet for example). Early on he shows us a way to simplify the heads (by using a very complex amount of planes) but then abandons it, clearly not confident in his own method. The book WILL help beginners though if it's paired with other works and self research.
Yeah I totally get what you mean and I praise you for throwing it out there. I can feel as if you're swearing in church saying something like this. But I totally agree. I think Tom's method is a great way of understanding the steps to drawing complex forms and even build 'realistic' figures. But sometimes I get caught up in the rules too much and I wonder 'am I studying to get better' or 'am I studying for the sake of studying'. Sometimes it is the second one, and I don't like that honestly. I wanna focus more on expressing myself. Great comment though!
@@thedrDraw His mannequin method is amazing and a lot more fluid that I find Loomis' to be though. It'll really help someone who's a bit stuck or clueless to understand how to simplify the body using shapes.
