If applying for parents visa regarding convocation, they get visa for how many years?

Under 'Employer Criteria' for NLPNP, it states the company must be authorized to hire foreign workers with either an LMIA or JVA. Also, show the province reasonable recruitment efforts for hiring Canadians first. What about it? Did your company fulfill all of this or is that not required?

With a small population, finding a job in your field in NL is definitely hard. Career advancement is even harder. I left NL because my then spouse had a job in ON, and career-wise I really benefitted from the move. But ON didn't move my soul the way NL does. COVID gave me an opportunity to discover that I was fine working from home - so I made NL my WFH location to wrap up my career and transition to retirement. Definite pluses and minuses to both places, and I think you do a fine job expressing this in your videos. And I enjoy getting the perspective of someone not born here on living in NL.

Please can you use any employer with NLPNP?

Can you file for citizenship although you became a PR via NLPNP and moved to Ontario? I am asking cos I heard one is required to stay in the PNP providing Province for 3 or more years to be eligible for Citizenship.

If you are a disabled person, living in Newfoundland and Labrador is an absolute nightmare. There are very few options for healthcare, you will be confined to St. John’s and Mount Pearl if you are unable to drive a vehicle for the rest of your life without depending on someone else to do everything for you, there are less job opportunities in this province (particularly if you have a bachelor’s degree or higher), the household and single person incomes are lower (and usually fail to offset the lower cost of living), more expensive travel costs (e.g., Florida, France, Japan, etc.), the public and disability transport systems are not as reliable, there are no trains here, the walkability factor is much lower compared to Ontario, and there are less options for entertainment (e.g., museums, plays, comic book stores, etc.). Most (if not all) of the people in this comment section are neurotypical, and/or physically abled, so they probably will not be able to understand where I am coming from with regard to these issues. However, it is important for me to address them, because I have lived in both provinces. As a result, I’m planning on moving back to Ontario next year for my graduate studies, career advancement opportunities, and for the sake of living in large, busy cities versus laid-back environments (even if my lifestyle ends up being more expensive). I do not know how much longer I can handle living here in St. John’s, because I feel like crying my eyes out every single day I am here in this god-forsaken waste land. Oh well, at least I can continue to dream about Ontario to live like a happy camper most of the time (even if I feel lonely inside sometimes when other people are around, no matter if they are my family, friends, or partner). I am likely having a depressive episode right now. However, my sentiments are still valid. 😖
