How can I bring my family to Canada for convocation/ graduation ceremony

As an international student in Canada, graduating is not only one of the biggest milestones to complete it is also essential to celebrate it. When parents support our education by converting their blood and sweat into international fees, it's only fair to them to let them celebrate our success. And for how much time they can stay? How prior the convocation we can call them?
Like will they leave just after the day or the next couples of days?

1. They would prolly get a tourist visa (not sure how long that would be)
2. You need your course completion to apply, the time between your completion to convocation will be the time you apply
3. They can stay for months as far as i know

They should show proof of sufficient funds for their duration of stay. I don’t know what the exact amount is. Yes we can show that we have funds to support their stay. Also travel insurance is compulsory.

Is necessary to make a sponsorship letter for they stay? Or the invitation letter and banks statements are enough?

You might need it but I don’t think it’s necessary. Course completion certificate should be good..
