I like to follow these conversations as long as possible telling the other side that my name is Bilbo Baggins and I live in a pineapple under the sea, just for them to respond like I said something totally normal.

Scamming is a way of life here. You gotta be careful if you are dealing in India. It's was even more rampant before. Things are getting fixed but it will take alot of time.

I encounter similar scammer from China. As I just broke up with my ex gf, I played along with him/her to get my mind off my ex. LOL. They were really good to be honest. They can use AI to change the scammers; face and voice over Whatsapp or telegram video calls.
