The people that dont believe in the rut loop are delusional and inexperienced... Bucks will make a loop/ circle from their primary bedding area from farm to farm , property to property and they will travel a big circle taking inventory on other doe herds and bucks and they may make a loop in a night or it may take a day or several days or even weeks sometimes ... this theory of bucks 🦌 traveling in a circle/ loop is absolutely facts ! The deer will make a loop upon their journey until they get back to their primary bedding area wherever that may be ! Upon their travels they will leave signpost rubs and scrapes to leave their trademark scents to let the other bucks and does know they are there etc.

This is Todd btw. I didn’t go into all the details but I looked for the buck over a week with no Luck. We had very bad weather around the time and I even looked during that. It’s on public and others were also hunting the same area. This was on a very crowded / pressured wma. After over a week of looking there was nothing else to do but wait till after season. This area has a ton of hunters constantly and after a week of looking. I could ruin the area for everyone else. Just FYI. You shouldn’t judge a person without knowing details.

I love this podcast because I relate to his hunting style more then any other I've heard. I've been using two different brands leafy Gillie suits Top/bottom to break up my outline . I feel like deer look right past me 95% of the time. I also carry a back pack with a small chair and a turkey half blind. I've been hunting this way since 2008. I also carry my saddle platform at times for a chair.

it doesn't matter what the DEER is doing ,,, regardless , YOU as the hunter must be downwind of him ,, and if your still hunting , you still have to do it with the wind in your face no matter what. And when you shoot something out of a stand or blind , you are hunting there because the wind is in your face ,, that means that every buck you saw that day in front of you came in a tail wind ,,, so every buck you shoot out of a stand mostly came with a tail wind
