  • In this video, Andrew Butler details the hunt for a brute of a public land whitetail in Kentucky! Subjects include:
    - Setting a goal of tagging a 150" buck
    - Finding the right mix of habitat and terrain
    - Using a "killing wind" to get close to bucks
    - Hunting a spot 20+ times in one season
    - Clean access being key to targeting upper echelon bucks
    - The story of how the hunt went down!
We also hit some listener Q&A submissions in the second segment of the show:
    - When using annual patterns, will a 3.5-year-old buck daylight the following year on the same dates as a 4.5-year-old?
    - How to approach a spot that seems un-huntable due to the prevailing wind.

53:32 but here’s the question, that needs to be answered. If you overlayed all of the bucks beds, how many of them are common?
Meaning more than 1 buck is using the same bed. That would be super interesting to see. Particularly the oldest bucks

Go read dans stuff. He put out the same info as this study except did it many years ago and didn’t need collars to do it.
