    great information !! i have had great success hunting on mountain oaks in early season due to most of the time they are the first tree to drop . once white oaks start i notice they move quickly from the mountain oaks ! one thing tho check them again in late season when all food is almost good they seem to get back on them !! thanks for all yall do !!

    I have a question I’ve seen some zigzag lines like a maze under white oaks last year is that from deer rubbing there nose through the leaves or do y’all know??

      Just depends on the situation. Typically saddle hunt with sticks around 15’-18’. One sticking getting around 30’. Gun hunting a clear cut means getting literally as high as you can.

    I was a farm convention last few days. You won't believe how grain farmers hate deer hunters. I heard probably 50 times all they want is the most worthless peace of the deer or deer hunters are a bunch of preschool kids with guns. These videos dial in why farmers won't just let you hunt. Hunters don't want to fill freezers to help the grain farmer out so they have to charge for hunting to cover part of what deer destroy. A herd can wreck 20k of grain especially beans yet they might get back 10k in lease money and have a larger herd the next. Deer are like rats to me too and completely agree with them on this horn hunting bull
