Canadian Pacific #2816: An Encore With The Empress
On June 15, 2024 we were able to get some bonus footage of the Canadian Pacific “Empress” no. 2816 during her return trip from Mexico City, Mexico to Calgary, Alberta, Canada during the Final Spike Steam Tour. If you haven’t watched our coverage during the southbound portion with the Canadian Pacific 2816 during the Final Spike Steam Tour please make sure to check it out. This video pretty much wrapped up our journey with the Canadian Pacific 2816 as we wish the crew the best of luck during the remainder of the Final Spike Steam Tour and we hope to see the 2816 again one day whether if it’s in Canada or another journey through the United States.

The Texas State Railroad has got to be one of the most underrated tourist railroads on the country. Has some fantastic motive power, display pieces, and secenery. Fantastic video!
It was an amazing experience seeing 30 in its 400 appearance for the first time. Plus it was great seeing it while out there with ya! Good work as always Ty! Definitely love the camera work you tried out as well man!

It was fun firing this from Kansas City back to new Orleans, teaching the LASTA local guys how to fire and drive on hills.
Will be taking the kids this year on the polar express aka western Maryland RR 1309 from Cumberland to Frostburg.
