Hey question for you both? I camp near presque isle Wisconsin… tons of lakes up there. I used to feel like it was remote but now planes fly over A LoT! Do you gentlemen experience many planes flying overhead? And if not low flying…? Do you see contrails overheard from high Altitude flights? Aka Chemtrails? I’m very interested btw… not as a CT but as a man who remembers the sky sun and moon much different than now. I have a sun who’ll be 18 in a year and I very much should like to take him on a self searching and fatherly bond of. A journey? I would like the most solitude as possible and I would LOVE an absence of any man made sky fairing entity! Thank you! April is Ethan’s bday month. God Bless You and your family! Your channel brings my inner camping and adventurous soul peace! I feel like you have a lifeline to those adults who’ve been truly shaped by the fire that is camping in the wilderness! Going on adventures and not knowing your destination. And also using lots of tents common sense and your natural surroundings for food shelter (help anyhow) and warmth. Love it!!! I camped almost 30 years now right across from the East Branch of Presque Isle Springs… you must know that it makes quite the trek from upper Wisconsin thru UP into Superior! Love it! Huge Beavers huge dragonflies and a great long sidewinder of a canoe trip to Sandborn Lake! One of my favorite adventures. God Bless you! And may you continue finding more Lost lAkes!!

Really enjoyed your video and how you got your start. I would like to see a little more of your hammock setups. When you turn in for the night, do you always cover your hammock with the fly? If not and you wake up to a rain storm, how long does it take to get your rain fly in place? Keep up the good videos👍

On the basis of your earlier solo Draumer review, I bought one and REALLY wanted to love it. I think they have done exceptional, detailed and innovative design in these hammocks - and I think it plays out best in the double version. The quality is absolute top notch. I set it up many times over two days, and took a nap in it a couple of times. But, in fairness, I sew my own hammocks and used them for over 10 years and tweaked the design. I have worked out all the issues and unfortunately the Draumer was less enjoyable, less forgiving of setup situation, and just too warm for warm weather camping, than my home-built. I really wanted to love it, but I returned it. But this is the best one I've seen for two person hammock - and a very good review.

you guys had said in one of your Q& A videos from 4yrs ago that you wanted to go to the Yukon. If you were impressed by AB and BC you have to go to the YUKON. It stole my heart. it is just incredible. Like a green screen all around you. It is impressive that most Canadian's do not get to go. We have an incredible country.

This video made me realize what I think I would like to do someday, BWCA trip for 155 days would be amazing.

I come from the city and have always dreamed of doing this. But 1 thing scares me. How do you not get lost? The map shows the different lil islands. But when you're in the island and in the forest , how do you know where you are? The trail look so difficult to identify. How do people not get lost in the wilderness? I dont know if i can trust my sense of direction in the wild because the terrains look similar.
