Brian and Alec, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I saw that you dated for 5 months before you got married. I don’t think that’s such a short time. My husband and I dated (and later lived together) for 10 months total and then we got married. We are about to celebrate our 41st anniversary. So it doesn’t matter how long you’ve dated. When you find the one you’re supposed to be with time is irrelevant.

Brian, I love Olive Garden too. And their salad is so good. And they don’t do anything special with it but it just tastes so good. I could eat the whole bowl by myself! Their pasta dishes are great but I can’t eat a lot of pasta, so when I go there it’s a treat for me.

Wow, I was really surprised that Alec ended up in the emergency room! Forgive me, but I actually thought that is was you, Brian because of your Crohn’s disease. Glad Alec made it through this and he had you there for him.

Watching the video, I was sure that Alec would be able to go to Dallas with you, Brian. I could feel your sadness through the video that he wasn’t able to join you. I felt sad for you. Anyway, this was a great video and I really enjoyed it.

Hey guys, I see you did get a little color at the beach. I hope you used an ample amount of sunblock. I know for me, when I’m out in the sun, I burn very easily. i’m fair, with red hair and me and sun don’t really work well together. For that reason, I generally tend to avoid the sun a lot. But at least, it didn’t look like the two of you got burned. How great is it that Brian gets to travel on his job and his husband gets to go along? I know you had a great time.

Hi guys. You look like you were really enjoying your trip. Alec, i know your family was glad to see you again after you being away for so long. I was just wondering, Alec, is your mother from the Philippines? Did I spell that correctly?

Brian, I’ve never had Crohn’s disease but I did have an episode with diverticulitis and it felt somewhat like what you described. I could not use the bathroom to do no. 2. I knew I had to go but nothing would come out. I had to go to Kaiser emergency and they put me on an IV to get rid of the inflammation in my bowels. This happened about 10 years ago (I think it was) and to this day I am very happy that I (so far) haven’t had another incident like that. Whenever I have to empty my bowels and everything comes out alright, I’m happy. But I waited a few days before I went in and my situation could have been dire too.
