This weekend was all about friends and family as we pop out to help Myk at the Orlando Music Fest, and then meet up with Lorenzo and company for a quick Sunday out on the town. We even hopped on IG live with our new found friend @tracyjvmes (be sure to check out his channel!) for a late night chat. Then ended our long weekend cheffing it up with BJ and some quality time with each other.

WHAT!! Saying Hello back to someone doesn't cost anybody anything. They are just rude as hell!! Mike's cupcakes looked so professional in those boxes & probably taste fantastic. I didn't know you could make rice krispy treats out of fruity pebbles, Lol!! Alec, I'm the same way with yogurt, but what I do is buy the big container of unsalted peanuts or almonds and place them in my yogurt with wild blueberries. That's the only way I can eat it.

I assume the couple was white, and I am sort of curious as to why you did not say so. It sounded like just pure racism. I just returned from Costa Rica, and most everyone speaks when making eye contact, young and old. I think you live in a particular neighborhood where they just are not expecting and do not want to see other black people. Even in kentucky where I come from when I go back to my home town people speak to you white, black or whatever. Even when I was younger and during segregation. Black and white people accorded each other the courtesy of speaking to each other, and it would be considered a breach of good manners not to do so, whatever the person's skin color. There were shared values that transended race. Yeah ,even during those times when it was supposed to be the hardest for black people, but in some ways it was easier. Dont' get me wrong segregation and inequality was evil, and I fought against it every chance I got, but there was a sense of community that in some ways mitigated its harshest manisfestations, that is absent today in so many places, go figure
