Sly Cooper Theory - Did Clockwerk Have A Secret Ally?
Vložit

- Clockwerk had hired 4 members and called the group the Fiendish Five. The purpose of this group was not only to break into Sly’s childhood home to murder his parents, but to also rip out pages from the Thievius Raccoonus as a way of proving to Sly that they’re nothing without the book.
In Clockwerk’s lair, we notice some computers which I doubt Clockwerk used. It’s as if someone was keeping an eye or guiding Clockwerk. Could it be possible that the owl had a secret ally who is still roaming the streets? How close was Clockwerk to this person?

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4
2. Cream butter and sugars, once creamed, combine in the egg and vanilla.
3. Sift in the flour and salt, then the chocolate chips.
4. Roll into walnut size balls, for a more homemade look, or roll into a long, thick sausage shape and slice to make neater looking cookies.
5. Place on ungreased baking paper. If you want to have the real Millies experience then bake for just 7 minutes, till the cookies are just setting - the cookies will be really doughy and delicious. Otherwise cook for 10 minutes until just golden round the edges.
6. Take out of the oven and leave to harden for a minute before transferring to a wire cooling rack. These are great warm, and they also store well, if they don't all get eaten straight away! Enjoy your cookies!
Thank you saved my life!
No need to thank me citizen.
@@VtnVivi hey dude i dont think clockwork has a security ally did he
@@TheAuscomando will the cookies still be doughy in the middle if you bake for 10 minutes.
This theory really makes you think, I like the way you just have to question clockwork such a mysterious owl in so many ways
I'm happy you enjoyed the vid!
I bet if Penelope was really "The Guy in the Chair" (LOVE SPIDER-MAN HOMECOMING) She had been the one to point Clockwerk in the direction of the crashed Time Machine in Ancient Egypt, she travels back, Clockwerk builds himself up, and gains Time powers from the left over power of the Machine. (Explaining his appearance in 10,000 BCE) Except before Penelope leaves, she had somehow heard about the Hate-Chip, creates one, (Because if this is one of those over-the-top cartoon worlds, which I'm pretty sure it is, we'll just say she can create anything...) And gives it to Clockwerk after he fully builds his Mech-Suit. After thousands of years, he meets young Penelope, tells her about how she will/has already (CONFUSING KINDA) let him become reborn, she turns evil, (Maybe she's seen Sly in the news and hates him for some reason or something like that...) decides to work for Clockwerk, and maybe he could have already traveled into the future, seeing everything that happens, and maybe she gets into contact with everybody from the Fiendish 5, all of the villains in Sly 3, and it turns out she was behind it all!!!!!!!!! Except for 2 and 4, of course.
Ok, wow. I think the last few sentences were just EXTREME theories, but heck. If Sanzaru wants to go completely crazy for Sly 5 or possibly 6, I'm here for your story board!!
I like how deep you get into this theory! So if Penelope was the creator, wouldn't she question the hate-chip even after finding out from let's say Bentley? Knowing how smart she is, why would she resort to a hate device? Sounds more like a voodoo/dark device to me. If Clockwerk does interact with his young creator in the future, he has to be careful not to undo it. Going with your theory, it all worked out pretty smoothly because Penelope went to the past as destined. Thiis is pretty much a time loop.
VTNVIVI Yeah, huh. There are SO many ways this can go, but I think your theory might be the best out of all of them. My theory was sort of just a pass time, but in some ways it could add to an answer. Even if NONE of these theories are correct, I find them fun!
The threat of Ultron isn't just his body, but the fact he could download his mind into the internet. Then into one or more new bodies. Often better bodies. What if Clockwerk did the same?
What if Sly isn't fighting Clockwerk, but Clockwerks. Various weaponized updated versions of his body. Like a Stealth body, a Heavy Weapons body, a Speedster Body, Mind Controller body, etc. With the end being a gauntlet fighting all of them, fighting a combination body made of their powers, or maybe even multiple Clockwerks.
Also who knows, maybe Clockwerk could create bodies to kill Sly's Allies. A Bentley-Killer body, a Murray-Killer body, and even a Carmelita-Killer body. To hurt Sly in the worst way by harming his friends.
Just an idea...
Yeah going more into detail, Ultron was capable of doing that. It's weird, how did the owl survive and then easily get killed off by Sly? Something is fishy...
@Matthew Schaff Woah that was so long ago :O
@Matthew Schaff Haven't in for 3 years now. The place burnt down sadly.
For some reason Clockwerk is not only my favorite Sly Cooper villain but also favorite video game villain because there were a lot of unanswered questions about him on how he maneged to turn his body into cyborg in past
During the lava battle scene listen to Clockwerk's random noises, your theory about a person at the computer seems feasible... Im not certain about it being penelope however... it would be nice for a redemption arc
My guess about Clockwerk's origin is that he was the brain behind Slytankhamun I's gang but something happened, probably involving Slytankhamun's compassion causing a heist to fail and Clockwerk to get injured with Slytankhamun thinking he's died. "Compassion has always been the downfall of the Cooper Clan". It takes several days for him to crawl back to town and when he does he finds out his fiancée has moved on because she thought he was dead "flowers, feet together(dancing)[Clockwerk's Memory rebooting]".
He lost everything because of Cooper morality and because he's crippled he can't even go back to thievery. He laid in his bed for months as his old friend's reputation grew, the isolation warping his mind and making him bitter. He eventually makes a body out of bronze and uses black magic to infuse a talisman inside it with his hatred (he gets more high tech as time goes on eventually getting his signature titanium body and fusing the talisman into a chip to control the new high tech additions to it).
U know what this is s good theory I respect it
The Cult of clockwork sounds scary
Indeed.
Clockwork was living for thousands of years there was the fiendish five and the claw gang what if Clockwork had a secret cult that look to him as a god and now they want me dead that would be insane
I think its safe to say raleigh had been working with clockwerk before the fiendish five.
Alright :O
VTNVIVI is the man and amazing video
Love your videos man always entertaining.
Thanks a lot :D
No problem
Don't listen to them Garen. Your videos are great and I can see how much effort an love you put in every video.
I appreciate it thanks!
I've been watching your videos before I had a CZcams channel and your videos are amazing!!!
Thank you so much!
OMG now that i think, Penelope rly fits as the guy in the chair. It would be awesome something like that, i would go crazy with that pt. That theory is rly an amazing one and a possible one. Dude you rly should write stories for games or movies, you have the talent for that
Means so much I appreciate it :D
If you strike me down, I will return stronger than ever before. Clockwerk probably said that under his breath.
Clockwork is a character that definitely deserves to be revived!
Indeed.
ViVi I really like your videos and should keep using sly cooper theories
Thanks!
i love your Clockwerk theories
:D
I like the idea of Clockwerk having a secret apprentice to Aid him maybe of a certain mouse character, we all know. He could be the one that taught her everything she knows.
Theories on cartoon games are just as important as realistic game theories.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
VTNVIVI YW it makes sense though.
Cool vid vtnvivi
The greatest theory I ever heard was that Penelope starts getting jelous about Sly and Bentley relationship (as we can see in sly 4) and coincidence or not she just had finished building a time machine with them. She goes back in time, Guides clockwerk into killing sly parents, helps him with his metal parts and builds with him a plan to Destroy the entire cooper bloodline.
She comes back, joins Le paradox but because she wants all the stolen cooper canes for her and Clockwerk. So they can travel in time and perfectly end the coopers.
She escaped from jail after sly 4 and maybe now the plan is to find cooper with the help of clockwerk and the time machine and try to kill him before the gang can find him.
Once I heard this one... I was... amazed, it sounds crazy but at the same time sooo perfect and that I really belive its gonna be something like this... Imagining the greatest villan (penelope) already working to destroy Sly before we even met her... and who was once an "ally"... just... blows my mind. I would clap for the greatest storyline ever if this was it.
Im sure they not gonna disapoint me either way.
I like the part where Penelope could've been lowkey bad before we even met her. All that's happened was intentional and perhaps part of Clockwerk's plan. I did discuss this old theory of Penelope going back in time.
@@VtnVivi Me- *When you listen/read and fall in love for so many theories that you don´t even know where you got them from.*
I think it's Doctor M who is this serect ally out of revenge on conner after he left him and have you ever think maybe the Doctor knows who where sly lives and he told Clockwerk where he lives so therefore he responsible for Sly being a orphan
Well...he originally spoke Owl dialect we saw in the first game...who is to say Bob didn't just speak old school raccoon dialect.
Great video bro
Thanks Goku san!
You Are awesome, and you make goods videos, love sly!
i dont care about what games theory you make, you are the best youtouber ever for me!!
Thank you so much I appreciate it!
Lore is the very reason that Sly 2 is my favourite in the series, particularly in terms of how well the story is constructed with plenty of twists and turns as well as being given time to breathe over 8 episodes and I’d like to see that level of storytelling in the series in future... Interesting theory though vivi, I’ve always thought that Clockwerk could be playing a “long game”, considering how long he’s lived you’d think he’d have contingencies in place should things go wrong... Would be good to see more of his backstory in a sequel and if not his revival, a successor carrying on his legacy/life’s work...
Thanks for sharing, glad you enjoyed the vid :D
will discuss another games soon in the channel
Le Paradox has been working with Clockwork the entire time! Constantly traveling back in time aiding Clockwork and feeding his rage with mechanical parts throughout history. I don’t actually believe this but like has anyone ever wondered how he’s been surviving? No way Clockwork became mechanical within just the last 200 years.
Clockwerk needs some backstory believe me!
In the manual for the first game it hinted that Clockwork might have had an accomplice but clockwork killed him sometime during the game for spilling chocolate ice cream on his tail feathers!
Damn you chocolate ice cream!
Theories about clockwerk r great
:D
Your theories are nice as hell, you should honestly have sanzaru look into your gameplay theories
Means a lot thank you :D
Yuck why would we want Sanzaru to do something, they ruined the sly cooper game series maybe we should get Sucker Punch instead, the good Sly Cooper devs
Interesting theory. Although I beleive Dr M would make a better fit because he
1) specializes in mixing animals and machines
2) Grew to hate Connor
3) All the tech he devoloped is far beyond anyone elses in the series (except for the time machine)
Food for thought I guess.
SHIVERnexus Dr M doesn't seem the type of guy to take orders well
Maybe he's the one who ends up giving orders, Clockwerk becomes fully automated by the end.
You got a point. I would just imagine a deal between the two.
And I find it weird that in sly 1 clockwerk fell in the lava and randomly came out upgraded shooting electric rings weird right and Penelope could have created the hate chip.
The hate chip to me sounds like dark magic.
O.O So much content!
;)
But I have a question please respond in the first game look at how small clockworks body is compared to the final boss battle is sly two if you noticed his body is a lot longer could clockwork still be dead in the lava pit and be built again?Or before we ever knew about Bentleys girlfriend could she helped work on clockla?
The parts from the lava were actually retrieved and put in the museum. His parts deteriorated right after the hate chip was crushed, he was immune to lava let's put it that way. As for his size in Sly 2? It's just the design I'd say... I know I said we have obvious answers but those parts were the exact same as Sly 1.
I'm still clinging on to the theory that Penelope created Clockwerk. IT WAS PENELOPE ALL ALONG!
Kasually Kelsey NOO! Penelope becoming an antagonist is one of the worst story decisions in my opinion!
Unless they give us a good reason.
If not her, then I still believe someone aided Clockwerk in 1350BC.
What if Clockwerk got access to time travel through Penelope? That could explain why he was in the B.C. times
Since i was 8 years old i started to play sly and i have always wanted to know more about clockwerk - who he actually is, what is his past and motive to destroy coopers etc. Now i have started to think that if they would actually make more sly games where they would answer these questions, they would kinda take away the reason why clockwerk is so good villain. It actually makes villain more mysterious, scary and better if you don't know him/her that well (for example heath ledger's joker).
Glad you agree they could make more games with Clockwerk!
I think Neyla would be a more plausible answer as to who was operating those computers. She never had an explanation as to why she wanted the Clockwerk parts in the first place. Perhaps she was the key to bringing Clockwerk back stronger but instead saw an opportunity to seize that power for herself. It would explain why she joined Interpol seeing as she never had a reason that was presented, perhaps she joined because that would be her way of getting the parts or at least get closer to them.
Neyla was working closely with Arpeggio only to backstab him in the end. She was his protegée.
I know I'm late but seeing this theory has me curious about something else related to clockwerk. I don't remember if it was explained nor do I think there was an answer to it but, given how/where clockwerk was defeated how was anyone able to retrieve and repair his body for sly 2?
I'm not sure why I keep forgetting to press the notification bell icon twice. But I sure did now finally. I want you to know that I still watch your videos even if they're not about the Ratchet & Clank series. However, that doesn't mean I watch your Kingdom Hearts videos too. What I mean is I usually watch your Ratchet & Clank, Jak And Daxter, Sly Cooper and 3D platformer videos.
Coincidentally, there is a (small) mouse called Penelope in Animal Crossing: New Leaf but she's pink, though. She's one of the many peppy animal villagers and she's one of my favourite villagers aside from Roald the Penguin, Vesta the Sheep, Joey the Duck and Cube the Penguin.
:D
VTNVIVI Unfortunately, Penelope doesn't live in my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town anymore. 😢
Anyway, my Ratchet & Clank print arrived today from Gallery Nucleus. I picked the one that costs $40.00. It's the only one that stood out to me the most since the sci-fi retro art style reminds me of The Jetsons and it's the cheapest out of all the Ratchet & Clank prints. I would've gone for the same print as you but I don't think I can justify the shipping. Plus, $60.00 is a bit expensive for me.
I think Clockwork chilled outside and then they divided the book. He was never meant to fit. The others in the gang would go in there.
Well we did see him rip out pages himself.....unless yeah he decided to give away some.
Like either outside before they left is when they each took their own piece. Even if Sly was in the closet he could have heard them. Idk. Was just a thought. Cause he was huge.
Or during the Narration he could have came to the conclusion they split it at a later point in his life like looking back and how he choose to tell the story. He tells it as if it has already happened. So it could be how he choose to tell it but it was a fact he learned latter from his gang Intel or as he experienced it noticed each had parts but when he was a kid didn't know that.
What if clockwork was actually a type of time machine from a different point in time/universe if they want to take that route, that'll make the easter eggs in sly 4 make sense and it would also explain why he looks so different, as who ever built him would try to make him better as he has said himself that he has been defeated before and yet still lived (but sly didn't even make note of clockwork to any of his ancestors), so the next question is: who is the person behind clockwork?
Great theory!
There are 2 separate workspaces in Clockwerk's lair. Arpeggio had to have known a lot about him to know where to find his parts and how they work and the only information available about him is in the TR or from his own beak. Could this have been a 3 man job? Could both Penelope and Arpeggio have been accomplices of the old bird.
Top 20 Sly cooper soundtracks? :)
I wouldn't think of 20, more like 10 :P
VTNVIVI That will be fantastic!
vtnvivi i agree with you that it could have been Penelope helping clockwork as his secret ally all along possibly!.
Awesome :D
What if all this time Penelope was responsible for EVERYTHING since Sly Cooper 1. That'd be such a plot-twist.
YES!!!!!
Good video
I think the best thing about Clockwerk is that we know nothing about him, it is what makes him interresting
Agreed, but still would love to know more.
Clockwerk made allies with his greatest enemy......
HIMSELF!
If you look at some of the blueprints in sly 2 in certain levels you might get a better image.
Maybe he made a deal with Bill Cipher LOL
Dude I love this video and I agreed
Thank you so much!
Sometimes, I can find it easy to tell what Bob Cooper is saying. He does use a lot of gibberish, but I can confess that sometimes I can hear whatever the subtitles say when he is speaking. I bet Clockwerk could understand too.
:O
Cool vid
Thanks mate!
It could be whoever or whatever is inside Clockwerk
Great video as always! But I have something to bring up. If it is Penelope (as most of us were expecting lol) then how old does that make her? This happened when Sly was a kid! Suddenly he’s 16 (if I remember correctly) in Thievious Racoonus and Penelope’s still supposed to appear young in Sly 3/Thieves in Time? I just don’t get it. Also, I would love a video on exactly how Clockwork was able to fit through the door of Sly’s house lol
Aha! Clockwerk could have recruited her when maybe 17 years old, not during Sly's childhood. Sly was 18 in the first game, so we can say a year before that Penelope started working for him. Penelope was maybe 20 in Sly 3, the team was 21. Now as for Penelope recruiting the Fiendish Five (tracking potential members)? It doesn't work as she'd be just as young as Sly at that time. So whatever Penelope was doing behind that monitor had nothing to do with recruiting.
....o.k......that could work :) I thought you were talking about before Sly’s childhood not after my bad lol
Yes sly is a talking raccoon, and i love that . i wish animals irl. could talk like sly , and the other anthro animals in games , and cartoon.
I personally don't think that sly Cooper is JUST a video game. It's a big part of my childhood, and I don't think that sly is JUST a character. When you play the games, you feel like you are part of his world. He is quite admirable, and he definitely deserves more than just "the talking raccoon".
Also, I agree. I think that clockwerk should have more screen time. I would like to know WHY he hates them in the first place, and I want to know how clockwerk grew up. It tells how most of the other villains grew up, so why not clockwerk? After all, he does deserve more than just the brief sightings and boss battles. Oh, and the clockwerk voice, too. Lots more of that.
Exactly!!!!!
Ok...this is going to sound really out there. But this just popped into my mind. What if Clockwerk's secret ally is......Sly's mother.
Now just think about it. There was no mention of her, meaning that possibly she wasn't there with them when Conner is killed. Also Conner knew that Dr. M was looking for him because of the vault, this is apparent when he gave McSweeney the map to the vault. If He and Sly were in danger of being found by Dr. M then wouldn't Conner try to hid himself and Sly somewhere where no one could find them.
If that was the case the only ones who would know about their location is Conner and Sly's mother. I don't know what happened between her and Conner but it must have warranted her to want him dead or something. She somehow finds Clockwerk and reveals their location. I don't know what her reasons would be, but it also would maybe partially explain as to why her face isn't show. Maybe in a future game we see her as an NPC and aren't told about it till later.
This would be huuge!!!!!! There's a big realm of possibilities as to who Sly's mother really was or what she did. Dr.M used to be part of Conner's gang, he most likely knew where he lived, I am pretty sure he would've figured it out judging by his skills. But I do believe Clockwerk had someone else working for him, someone who remained under the shadows.
VTNVIVI still it's something that can be looked into. If we had more info about the mother
Vtnvivi o understand now why Penelope betrayed the cooper gang as she felt sly was holding Bentley back. But what I still don’t understand yet is what did la paradox do/say to recruit Penelope ?.eg:help me get rid of the coopers and i’ll See what I can do to satisfy your desire?.
I know that Penelope is considered the one in the chair but there are other intelligent characters I mean there are characters like dr m which somebody like him could make a good ally of clockwork or you can look at villains who used some technology like Rajan he ain't smart like Raleigh but he uses a mix of old masonry and in his palace it is filled with many computers like the room where you had to protect Bentley would you consider them being a secret ally?
Dr.M as others pointed out doesn't look like someone who would take orders. Rajan is all about producing spice until the credits scene, I wouldn't imagine him being the tech guy.
Hay I love your video and I agree
vtv can you talk about spyro 20 annivasary plz
I'll see :P
Yes. The Humans have returned
Vtnvivi if your theory of Penelope being clowerk secret ally is correct, why wasn’t the cooper gang possibly aware when they asked her to join their gang?.
All part of the plan even if it meant getting into a relationship. She's just too good at keeping that very dark secret.
I've always thought of Sly being caught in the past as nothing more than part of the timeline. Sly was meant to go back to Egypt. The timeline was meant to be screwed up. Perhaps this is how Clockwork is born. Why else would he want to live on for so long failing over and over to take over the Cooper clan than to take out Sly himself in the future? It all sounds weird to me. Idk maybe I've been watching too much Flash lol
I watch Flash believe me I like your way of thinking heheh (Earth X looks sweet can't wait) :P
That was interesting
Glad you like it :D
Maybe they used a spyware tracking device program to keep track of the movements of the Cooper clan? More particularly sly At this point? I don’t know this is just a question that could be made into a theory I’m just speculating but also wondering at the exact same time :-)
Or a mole in the gang *cough* Penelope.
VTNVIVI That’s what I’m saying. Maybe somebody tipped them off? :-) It’s funny how we’re always on the same page , Could we have the same mindset perhaps?❤️😂
Dr M is Clockwerk ally
To be honest if this the main villain in sly 5 is going to be dark
You mean Clockwerk right? Absolutely. If they dive deep into his background lore, it is going to be dark.
VTNVIVI not clockwerk I mean his computer guy and I don't care what villain for sly 5 as long is not that dumbest owl or a villain is getting his revenge on Hollywood because his or her show cancelled after that one season
Just asking out of curiosity but did you see my comment on the whole "Clockwerk saw everything" thing? Is was in one of your videos or am I confusing you with someone else?
I have no clue maybe I did see it?

samori warfare Ratchet and Clank is T.
Not anymore though since Tools.
4:24 Hate me if you want Penelopee
But maybe it could be all because possibly with enough brain power maybe they made clockwork immortal?
Nice video. When is there going to be a ratchet and clank. I'm sorry but I love your videos. But the most ones I love is Ratchet and clank games. And I've been thinking about ratchets dad. But anyways love your video
No worries ;)
I don't know what you were saying he did have a heart, did you forget Sly 2? It's called The clockwork heart. 😆
Could one of Sly´s ancestor & Clockwerk have been partners like in Sly Cooper 3?
I know in Sly Cooper 2, Sly said "He was jealous of the Cooper clan's reputation as a thief" but why?
As you're saying why & what.
1) If Sly 5 is coming (I hope it does) will we get a deeper storyline about Clockwerk?
- Since Sly 4 is ending with a cutscene to Egypt would this have something to do with a feud between pharaohs?
- Or did the ancestor steal something from Clockwerk that started it all?
We need some backstory, something that will will shock us :P
VTNVIVI EXACTLY! 😊
But clock work looks like he’s from the future it because computer were not yet made wait he said that he knows the coppers what if sly is clock work maybe he time travel
Dr.M or Penelope perhaps?
As someone pointed out, M seemed more like the loner type of guy, not taking orders from anyone.
I really like the concept of this theory. I never thought about that room where you rescue Carmelita. So, did the Fiendish Five have a secret member? From the evidence presented in this video, yes. Was that secret member Penelope? Absolutely not, and here's why.
1) The biggest reason why Penelope isn't the secret member of the Fiendish Five is because Sly's 1-3 and Sly 4 were made by two different game developers. Sanzaru took on the Sly 4 project without any direction from Sucker Punch because they were busy working on inFamous at the time. Not to mention Sly 1 and 4 were released 11 years apart. There is absolutely no way Sucker Punch planned for Penelope to betray the Cooper Gang. Just look at how her betrayal comes out of left field with no explanation or real motive. You can't explain that with game theories, it's just bad writing. Sanzaru needed a plausible reason for Le Paradox to have his own time machine and they used Penelope as a scapegoat.
2) Bootstrap Paradox. If Penelope was the one that went back in time and made Clockwerk immortal, who did it first? VIVI even said in another video theorizing about Sly being Slytenkamen is improbable because of the bootstrap paradox, but it all of a sudden makes sense when it comes to Penelope? And surely Penelope would know that Clockwerk would ultimately fail because Sly defeated him, not once, but twice, before the gang even met Penelope. So that theory doesn't work either.
1. Hmm...You're mixing realistic assumption with fan theories :P Of course Penelope wasn't planned as being the secret member, but heck it's fun to theorize :P
2. You do bring up a valid point! As for Sly's case, we're talking about him being his own ancestor which I believe plays a bit of a more complicated role.
@@VtnVivi 1. Sometimes we need to be able to look at a situation from more than one angle. Take Ratchet & Clank 2016 for example. Everything in that game messes with the canon timeline of the game series. After fruitlessly trying to put the pieces together, I came to the conclusion that the game and the movie that came with it are just a non-canon re-imagining of the first game. When the pieces don't fit together, it needs to be looked at from a different angle.
2. I can see Slytenkamen taking inspiration from Sly, but not Sly being Slytenkamen. Sly giving Slytenkamen the idea for the Thievious Raccoonus and the Cooper Vault also don't pan out because of the bootstrap paradox again.
Maybe it was Dr. M?
I wish we knew more of Dr.M, the fact he brought up Sly's father.
Yep it was penelope
We aren't sure yet ;P
what if clockwerk was actually a coopers apprentice but there was a disagreement and the cooper left clockwerk with his wings cut off and left him for dead until someone found clockwerk and put him back together using mechanical parts. very reminescent of the anakin skywalker story, and his rebirth into darth vader. who knows maybe clockwerk isnt his original name? and this entire time he hated the coopers because his own master left him to die.
I always had this small thought that Clockwerk could have been friends with Sly's Egyptian ancestor. Wings cut off? Man, that's pretty dark but could explain part of the reason why he despices them!
Nela or arpego
Penelope as a Clockwerk's spy is a good theory. The only problem is: Bentley still loving her. I Think Penelope loves Bentley too. Maybe she had no choice and had to betray the gang. a doble-agent story is always a good story. One thing is certain: Clockwerk need some help to return since his body was destroyed by Sly.
Penelope's intention at first was to just pretend to love him, but slowly got actual feelings and discovered his potential, something maybe Clockwerk was aware of as well.
This i pretty far fetched.... but cool.very cool.
I get that a lot, especially with this one hahaha!
Secret ally my moneys on pennelapy

I’m joking! Love your videos dude, and these comments, are just ridiculous in my mind. I mean, a realistic game isn’t any more reasonable to make theories for(?) Personally, I’m not really into many “realistic” games either, but Sly Cooper is my childhood(and I’m still hooked).

don't listen to the haters your videos are great there's a lot of us that have been huge lie fans for a long time and you know we like to make up our own theories and imagine what could be possible in our favorite series yes it's a cartoon game but that doesn't matter to me it shouldn't matter to you keep up the great work 😁
Thank you.
2 things.
1. I really liked these videos. Everytime i would search theories, it would either show me top 5 something or talk about sly5 or some extras. No theories. This channel goes into depth about the game and i love it. Also, its ironic that your channel avatar is ratchet when i think you talked more about sly than ratchet.
2:22 HOW DID ANY OF THE FIENDISH FIVE BESDIDES RALEIGH ENTER THROUGH THE DOOR!? Also, you are tryingvto put logic in a game with talking animals
I appreciate it thank you! The door is just Sly logic I guess hahahah :P
The Best Story Line Would Be Clockwork Is A Slave Master And He Sees The Time Machine And Takes It Sly Meets The First Cooper And Tells him He Needs To Be stopped So As Clockwork Study’s The New Tec He Gets Very frustrated and wants to destroy it but sly stops him and in the process they beat him half Too death and frees his slaves and takes all his gold and that’s what starts the cooper legacy and that what makes him hate the cooper then Penelope comes to see if sly is there But helps clockwork from dying and puts him in the new body not knowing who he is and gives him a life chip witch he turns into a hate chip
Old times lol
Hehe you got that right!

1:48 - I already understood but I thought it was worth listening to, hopefully the others see this that way as well. :)
2:24 - I never asked that but I can see why others would, maybe he broke through the walls? :/
3:36 - For Clockwerk you mean? :/
4:06 - All she uses in terms of technology is lasers, searchlights and alarms but other then that nothing. :P
4:10 - Plus he clearly stole the "Thingus Raccamagucus". XD
4:12 - He's all about burying innocent lives ... until the 3rd game happened. :P
4:27 - I personally still don't believe it was her but go on with your opinion.
4:52 - Actually those are robo-falcons.
5:05 - Wait, what about that satellite dish over there near the falling rocks? :/
6:15 - J's Reviews had argued that was why they brought him back in the next game.
6:45 - A bit too leathery for my liking.
8:03 - Hopefully Sanzaru Games when they do get back into it will try to make the story of him as dark as possible.
8:16 - I haven't got any recipes but how about a simple "always happy to watch"? ;)
No it has nothing to do with TGX's reply, I'm talking about general not calling out anyone. Thanks for sharing mate.
Nah it's definitely Muggshot his stupidity is just a ruse i tell ya but in all seriousness Penelope must have done some major time traveling apparently she only works for the "best" maybe she hated Sly that much like Clockwerk but then again she's all about that money he might have payed well
Yes! I think money is what Penelope was seeking with Clockwerk. With time, they just became good allies and worked for one another in secret.
I think they would bring back Clockwerk in Sly 5, and that the Cooper Gang need Clockwerk's help, and they go to the past to find help but they can only think of Clockwerk and they ask him. But for him to tell them he wants a more powerful form, like the one in Sly 1, because think of how he looks in Sly 4. Then they do it and he tells them he saw Sly in Ancient Egypt. He gives them the artifact to go there, and they find Sly, but when they find him, Clockwerk in the past tries to kill them because he thinks they will kill him then, they run away and that would be the end. *CLIFFHANGER ALERT* Sly wakes up the next day and sees that Clockwerk 2.0 thing you were once talking about. The End.
Thanks for sharing your theory :)
No problem
I love your videos btw
