- The Guru appeared in Sly Cooper 3 Honor Among Thieves guiding Murray towards the path of spirituality. After the events of Sly 2, Murray felt devastated and guilty. He could not keep up and decided to move on.
He encountered the Guru in Australia, where he was given the teachings of finding the right path. Murray struggled a bit when the gang asked him to come back. Eventually, the team met up with the Guru and recruited him. The Guru's main power was mind control.
Was Murray's mission in Venice Italy intentional? Did the Guru sense trouble coming in the future? Will the Guru return in Sly Cooper 5?

The cutscene with the guru on the wolf guards back rubbing his eyeballs always gave me chills haha, I could only imagine a tiny dude rubbing my eyes while he takes control of my mind
Murray did not have any tasks anywhere, save for Venice.
And that "task" might have been metaphorical. It was Murray who took it literally.
The Guru has always been an interesting character. In a way he serves as a guide like the Plumber in Ratchet and Clank.

I feel like he was hinted in Sly 4, it's likely I'd say.
I think that's the sewer music from ratchet and clank up you're arsenal maybe, but I think he walked to Venice cause he talked about his teacher sent him on walkabout to locations all across the globe.

vtnvivi I like the idea that carmlita may have ancestors like sly, but do they possibly have something like the thevious raccoonus?, also it seems weird that carmalita never mentions at any time in the sly series about her ancestors.
I wouldn't imagine her family having such a thing.

I would much prefer they finish the game's story first. If the show turns out to be a success, they might explore the show's universe who knows!

Vtnvivi I would like to see both he panda king and the guru rejoin the Cooper gang but here are some things i may need some answers on.
1: what would lead up to the guru rejoining the Cooper gang as at her end of sly 3 its implied he may have thought murry everything he needs to know.
2:also how/why would the panda king rejoin also if they need him as he moved a couple doors down form his daughter Jing king to prevent her from getting captured again by someone like General Taso.
3:would panda king and Carmalita get along considering panda king went along with ht other members of the fiendish five to the home of sly Cooper when he was still a kid.Also I don't see Carmalita easily forgiving the panda king even though he changed in episode 4: A Cold alliance of sly 3.
4:what new villain would follow in making trouble for the Cooper gang like la paradox via some different form of time travel? I can see Penelope though.
5: I wouldn't mind seeing some more ancestors appearing in sly five when and if it happens like Otto van Cooper, Henriette one eyed Cooper, Slaigh Mc Cooper, Thaddeus Winslow Cooper the 3,and finally maybe both Slytunkhamen 1nad 2 as the other were already shown sly 4. who know maybe they could introduce carmalita's ancestors like perhaps a ninja or samurai those possibilities are almost endless.
1. I'd imagine the Guru teaming up with them again IF ever the gang needed him for something.
2. Panda would decide to team up with them again either for help or simply the gang needing Panda.
3. That's a good question! Since Panda king got released from jail, I'd think the gang would convince Carmelita. At this point, Carmelita I'd say has fondness of the gang to some extent.
4. Penelope is a strong contender as side villain I'd say. Biggest twist would be she'd been working with Clockwerk this whole time. Her joining the gang could've been a ploy despite falling for Bentley.
5. Carmelita's ancestors, at least her parents or grandparents being mentioned would be quite interesting! Afterall, she's the 4th generation law enforcer in her family.

Vtn vivi what if Penelope was trying to locate the cooper gang and remembers that the guru was not a threat in sly three and interogates him of where is sly and maybe he denied and she broke his staff ?
Hmm... Penelope knows where Bentley's lab is located, that'd be the one place she'd check first. I could still imagine Penelope involved in this.

This is mostly just fan fiction but what I was thinking maybe the guru had a evil twin brother that he kept a secret for all this time and he was behind everything from Clockwork to La Paradox and all those other reasons they hated the cooper line is just to send you another direction

0:59 - About that power-up; it was in the 2nd game but Bentley was the one using it and in the 1st game it was Sly's though in that game it was referred to as a stun ability made by one of his ancestors, I believe it was Colonel Reid Cooper.

2:26 - For Murray's training I personally believe he hitchhiked off of either planes, trains or boats but with Sly and gang altogether I'd say they'd research whoever had plans to go to Australia and assume their identities, that's just what I think.

VTNVIVI, I Was Just playing sly cooper honor among thieves, and I noticed something, COULD Dr. M Be connected somehow with the Claww Gang?! I was playing the part right after you shoot the beast down and Dr. M Said '' He looks just like his father, just as stupid, just as dead''... I was thinking Maybe Dr. M Gave off the location of where Sly's Parents lived, because since Sly's father was a ''bad friend'' Dr. M wanted his storage of money in the cooper cave thing and had hired or worked with the Claww Gang????!! Omg It's just a crazy thought I had and I wanted to share it with you because, ya know?! I used to in all =) Also It's because It's fun to share my ideas with someone who actually knows Sly Cooper CX!! (Also sorry if some people don't agree! lol It's just in my opinion! The series dosen't generate alot of buyers and alot of retail stores here don't even have the Sly games so i highly doubt there will be a Sly 4 unless the movie gets alot of attention which will lead to a reboot of the series.

Cause Murray is very loyal to his gang and always help out, so Murray help out mz ruby and she become good and maybe she be in cooper gangs cause she can use magic very useful.

Plot twist- his brother Turu came to visit but because Guru made the Deviled Eggs wrong he broke the staff and hid the Moon stone then proceeded to torture Guru with the Emoji movie

On sly cooper 2 Neyla possessed clowerk body and became cloockla, what if Dr. M was the one that built clockwerk and possessed the robo owl, you can see that on sly 3 he had some creatures that were half organic and half metal, and all of them were controled. I mean, it is rly strange what i am saying but all that stuf has a strong connection. Neyla possessed the body like it was nothing mb Dr. M did the same when finished is building it. Did doctor M rly died on sly 3? Mb he didn't, but imagine if he did survived, his body would be in a complet disaster so he decided to come back for Revenge and that was when he though of making clockwerk. He probably belived that he only survived to that cave drop because he had so much anger for the cooper clan. After he becaming clockwerk he somehow come back to the past (mb with penelope help, or by himself) and went to find sly to Revenge for What he made. He never found him so he decided to torment is family since the begining until the end, i mean since bob until sly. Btw the game says that clockwerk was a giant organic owl that turned himself into a robotic owl in the prestoric ages, but if they want US to think that, we never Saw organic clockwerk not even in the prestoric age on sly 4, sly didn't saw him on his organic mode, he only read his story on the thievius racconos and we know that clockwerk had a part of it for a certain time, mb clockwerk wrote something on the book like a fake history so sly didn't went to check that doctor M died. But It's just one crazy theory but who knows mb it's true mb it's not
If Dr.M is alive, I wouldn't be surprised. Combining two brains Penelope and M to build Clockwerk is very possible. Clockwerk is assumed to have originated from 1350BC, Slytunkhamen's era. Now how would M and Penelope convince Clockwerk to turn metal? Was he already evil when they visited his organic form? Clockwerk could have been nice before that boom plot twist.
clockwerk was around long before Dr m and he turned himself into clockwerk out of hatred for the Cooper clan sure Dr.M could maybe possibly survive his death maybe but most likely not...
Dude... Thats a GREAT theory! Everything has to do with Dr. M. I mean... think about it. After his "friendship" with Sly's dad, we all knew he was obsessed with the Coopers and their destruction. Maybe Bentley didn't tell us something. Maybe after he found the caved-in entrance to the vault, he found Dr M's body. Maybe he found blueprints for a time machine on his body, considering he is super smart. He ( Dr M. ) already built a time machine and went back to the beginning (Bob Cooper) and created clockwork, not really being a living creature. Clockwork had already been a robot, and the entire story about Clockwork would be fake. Maybe this whole time, since the orphanage, Bentley hated Sly for stealing Murray as his number one best friend. (Murray told Bentley that he was his number two best friend in the third game) Bentley maybe was the mastermind behind Clockwork and he hired Dr M as his protege. Its also a crazy theory. (Mic Drop)
