ORIGINAL FIFA 1994 PLAYER HERE. FIFA 98 ROAD TO WORLD CUP IS MY #1 ALL TIME GAME. EVERY PART OF IT WAS PERFECTLY FUN AND ENJOYABLE. A FEW EARLY 2010S WERE DECENT AND FIFA 17 WAS THE LAST DECENT FUN GAME.

Still can’t believe VAR is not in the game. Like it or not, it’s a key feature of modern football, and should be in EAFC
Why would you possibly need VAR in a game? The code knows whether a foul was commited or a penalty should be given, while a referee can make the wrong decision - that's when VAR comes in
@@catsu7393 to make it more realistic and give out that extra touch of excitement. I know the game knows right away when there’s a foul, offside, whatever… But the game could purposely make mistakes on close calls (like on the offsides the end up in a goal that we already have, and they end up being overruled mid celebration). And just add a cinematic of the referee giving out the correct call. That would make games against friends much more exciting and making the game more realistic overall
@@Ors180717 Yeah, I guess I kinda see your point. Football Manager has VAR and it does make every decision slightly more exciting. But it really isn't baffling that they aren't including it in FC25, as the game is missing much more crucial features. But yes, I do understand why you'd want to see VAR implemented in FC, expecially since it's much more cinematic of a game than Football Manager

I know it’s not crucial nor a game changer, but since VAR has been part of football for over 4 or 5 years now, I do think EA should’ve already implemented some kind of VAR in the game to keep up with the rules of the sport. And also yeah, I agree there are some other more important features still needed tho
