- In this vlog I spontaneously decide to ride to NSW on a 600km round trip to see one of Australia's big things (the big prawn). There are over 230 big things scattered all over Australia, my goal is to eventually see them all. I also stop and see the big pineapple which is located not to far from where I live in Nambour. I run into an interesting fella with a Nissan R33 skyline before heading south. I stop in at the gold coast and try Burg world famous doughnuts before finally arriving at my destination Ballina NSW.

I used to stop at the prawn regularly, when it was at the truckstop, until they bypassed Ballina & moved it.

After I have finished visiting every Harley dealership in Australia I will be doing the big things in Australia too.
Also mate if your keeping the Fatboy and doing these rides definitely get a good cruise control setup. You will never regret it.

Hey man cool video! You talked about cruise control. You should have an idle/thumb screw that's underneath the throttle. It's not the most ideal way of doing it, but it works. I've done it a few times myself. Cheers dude!🍻

I remember driving past this as a kid, we used to drive from Newcastle to Noosa, we always used to stop here and the Big Banana, I've been to the big pineapple a couple of times when I was small also, I remember it.

I just run those cheap throttle lock thjngs for long rides does the job to test the throttle hand. Also those Winx adapt shorts help heaps with my sciatica. Worth a try. Gel pad pants seem to work for me but will be getting different bars a seat one day.

Thanks for the honest about the jeans but honestly the fading is a positive not a negative. It looks more organic and interesting than straight up black jeans. I could see maybe a sport bike rider wanting uniform black pants but for Harley, faded jeans are perfect. Great video as always. I really appreciate the effort you put into these!

I feel your pain with the back, had two disks replaced & a fusion done L 3/4 , L 4/5, L5/s1 , got a 2013 fat boy lo cause im a short ass, stock seat was shit ,found the same seat you got , helps heaps , still got to have a few tablets before riding but hey gets me out there , i live just outa ballina, great roads here in the northern rivers, is your rig a 103 twin cam with a cam by the sound of it , sounds sick , great vid mate keep em coming [mick] 😎🦐

I feel ya pain I have all those similar symptoms with my back that’s why I use a backrest sometimes on the bike. My Mrs noticed the Ozito tools etc. she works for them lol

Welcome back! Another good one!!! I have sciatica and bulging disc and arthritis in shoulders, so, there are times when i need to stay off the bike a few days, just to let everything settle back to normal. But, once back on the bike, life is good again! Have a good weekend!!

But, I know it'll be back in full effect in a week or so. Cycle just repeats itself. And puts my mood in the dark. But, what can ya do, but deal with it, and get on with life. Annoying as hell!!!! Hey, the full face is way way better for wind noise. Definitely helped alot on the longer trips ! I'm actually looking for another helmet atm.
