This was so much fun making this vid with you. Loved the vid, well done. 2 yrs in the making thinking how to ensure all goes safely. 2nd take is certainly the best. Smoke coming up & all. About a 1inch taken off the sole of the motorcycle boot. Just imagine if this was your flesh. Why we must where safety gear even at slow speeds. 💯 faith in our gear as you see 🙂

Actually I've heard of cases of 6 months of skin grafts from customers & wishing they had worn proper gear. Even flesh taken off down to the bone. Our roads are like cheese graters here.

A mate was at the store next door on thursday getting Tyres on his sportster, he was rear ended on the corner there going onto Nicklin Way on his way home.. He was OK, bike had minimal damage from what I see.. I got him to watch this Vid too lol

I was wearing our full strength protective hoodie on just incase things went sideways. Actually we have heard of a number in the rocker jackets at high speed e.g 100 km/hr plus coming off & have been incredibly impressed. Actually had one guys ph me while in A&E. I was more concerned about if he's alright. He's raving on how well the gear saved him. So good to hear.

My wife and I have been planning to buy some since we saw yours, great demo of what the jeans will do. The ones you currently ride with, how would they stand up to that?
Hopefully in the future can do a test, the current ones I have are single layer so better for summer (new wave jeans) Aaron is confident to do a slide in those also, if that info helps haha. I'd be happy to test the single layer out. I actually rang a guy last year that Mal knows (Biker Life / customer) that brought Resurgence single layer jeans. He came off at 110km/hr & was very happy. Lined jeans are always safer as the cut & burst strength is stronger. With single layer the pekev thread is intertwined with a denim thread. The denim thread makes it a bit weaker than a full pekev liner. Hopefully this makes sense. Be careful with some brands as I know alot are incredible weak (C.E A or non rated) or only have armour pads only & they call them protective motorcycle jeans. I'd like Australasia to bring in laws around this for you the consumer to know as there are no regulations currently on safety motorcycle apparel.

@lizardsticks well the drag strip is a perfect smooth surface. This is the real road surface which people would come off on 😁 he is keen to go faster but it's hard to legally find a piece of road suitable for the test. Thanks for watching 🧡 🖤 🤙
Hi I noticed Craig your Dad had his Resurgence Jeans on Terrific But Can you do another Test on his Tee Shirt, I would like to see how it holds up if he comes OFF and his arms ,back so forth.
