Hey fallout good vid I was just curious to hear your thoughts on this but is there any reason to play warlock anymore? They used to be unique but it seems everyone gets there powers like you can have a stasis buddy which is a copy of arc buddy which you already know and hunters get blink why play warlock? Also their exotics seem very lackluster compared to everyone else’s

Some players are going into rage mode to nerf it right away within the 1st week ,watch.
What I like about the "NO Time To Explain" is that even though they change the gun's perk, they still manage to keep up to the lore. Since the gun is like a mini time machine in the Vault of Glass, it's make sense that it can shoot through different time lines
Exactly it even makes more sense that back then the gun wasn't at its full potential because we couldn't use it to its full potential due to us not knowing about stasis.

The thought of hunters teleporting in PVP makes me shudder. Might make me play hunter more though.
Looking at the perk, it looks like it's not actually a teleport but a long range dodge that you're cloaked for the entirety of, so it looks like a teleport but you're still there
Just titan overshield to survive the shift, then sg them. Also, we have shift- its just warlock blink with a cooldown.

@@constancekueffert6438 not to mention you could just kill the hunter BEFORE they shift, if they are running at you. Think, they have to be relatively close for a sg shot to kill, so why not just kill faster.
Cloud strike's scope looks pretty clean, tbh. And judging from the distance he ADS'd from in Bannerfall, the zoom doesn't look so bad, either! Maybe someone could uhm... load up that map and compare the zoom to other snipers to get an idea... just throwing ideas out there *cough* Fallout *cough*

Icefall Mantles looks like the spiritual successor to No Back Up Plans, and I am perfectly ok with that

Aw man, I was hoping that Warlocks would have an Exotic that transformed their Rift into something else, as well.
Same, I was very disappointed there wasn't.
Also... what is it with Bungie continually giving warlocks more exotics that rely on melee, and not fixing our slow-ass melee speed?
Honestly same, but who knows maybe they have something like that in the works and these are just the ones they can talk about now

I could have seen "converts rift into a (something), that tethers all nearby allies and increases yours/their ability regeneration" or something.

I was just saying to my clan that precious scars is probably going to be abused in trials. Imagine someone on your team sacrificing right off the bat so the titan can revive them and have this as they charge in for the engagement.

Yep that would be the strat. I hope its not too long though. Otherwise it'll be broken af like any other titan exotic and bungie will take years to fix, if they fix it at all

Not broken either way, you're at a disadvantage until you can revive your teammate, very easy to push.
Really excited to try out Icefall Mantles. Its a proper Titan Exotic.
Hope Bungie release some Stasis focused exotics in Beyong Light too.

I am unsure we will get stasis subclass exotics, at least in beyond light as the aspect system seems to have some exotic type abilities. Maybe we get some exotics that are similar some in d1, where an exotic unlocked a node on the subclass. So for example we get an exotic for stasis that unlocks an aspect for the subclass without using up one of your aspect slots.
Ooohhh...the synergy between the Lament and Stronghold! Could be nasssty.
I was thinking that. Being able to hold the guard forever AND heal on perfect guards is gnarly.
when i saw the hunter teleport i did the joker dance, mean peter dance and rickrolled at the same time.

Some alternate dimension version of me; "Wait where are all my bullets going"
Also I think the wording on the page for NTTE implies you can summon the portal through precision hits regardless of whether or not they're affected by stasis, but if they _are_ affected by stasis you don't need to get any precision hits
Man, I love the idea of titans now being, well, titans, in PvP and becoming tankier, letting them play more aggressively, hunters now being evasive and tricky enough to combat (and defeat) an overshielded titan with the right movement, and warlocks having improved crowd control in PvP and PvE to take out clumps of either.
Give us better niches and more identity! I want my hunters to be fast and tricky, my titans big and tanky, my warlocks capable of creating even more elemental effects and explosions, and these exotics seem to be delivering. Hell yeah!
Missed opportunity, they should have named The Lament, Just the Tip
You can either get precision hits on any enemy or get a hit on an enemy affected by stasis to activate no time to explain.
So with stasis it is better but stasis is not needed.

I can't tell you how many times I've wished my throwing knife would have an extra skip off a wall.
No literally, I can't, I can't think of one time. It's like a two bumper shot in pool. But certainly a meme worthy PvP exotic if there ever was one.

Solar grenades and bottom tree melee also burn, so bottom tree melee refreshes itself basically with the Dawn Chorus
Sadly it didn’t say normal abilities, just daybreak projectiles
@@Hrynnn no, it said "burn damage". So even Thorn or LeMonarche can work with it. It would make no sense for it to only work in daybreak, you can't even use your melee in that super.
@@Hrynnn "Gain melee energy each time a burn damages a target." is it's own complete sentence in the description so I don't think it's safe to assume that
@@kalicula7718 exactly, what use is it regening your melee if you cant even use your melee during the super. its no doubt just any ability burn from your subclass. for example: solar grenades burning after contact, bottom tree dawn melee.
Icefall Mantle hands down. As a Titan only character and solo player this thing will fits for me at 100%

Necrotic grip looks pretty similar to the detonator perk on middle tree Sentinel Titan. Except with a DOT effect added

I'd LOVE to see reviews of these (and hawkmoon) when beyond light comes out. However, there were no stasis specific exotic armor pieces which is odd
I can imagine the new shadebinder warlock super working really well with the necrotics grip. Freeze and poison them at the same time!
No Time To Explain also can proc its perk with just precision hits. You don't need stasis, but stasis will make it easier.

I’m most exited for the no time to explain. I’m hoping it’s not the season pass weapon though... but having a stasis portal that shoots enemies is amazing
Cloudstrike will definitely be one of the most broken PVE weapons we get next season. I see teams doing add clear with someone using this for bosses and challenging enemies and another using trinity ghoul for red bars, maybe orange. Very excited to see if any of this gets affected by ghost abilities too

Duuuuude! No Time To Explain exotic perk ALSO activate on precision hits, so you're damaging a boss on crit point and refilling the mag, then another No Time To Explain shows up and DOUBLE the hits. It's like Roket Team intro from Pokemon "Prepare for trouble! Make it double!" but THEN warlocks summon arc buddies and make it TRIPLE! Can u imagine?

Was about to get jealous of the Titan exotic but dear god Mask of Bakris 🤯🤯🤯 gonne be my new main probably replacing stompees. 9sec shift ability yeah I’m all for it. Also it looks unreal.
There's a lot of play potential in all of these exotics. I can picture that Titan revive one being a bold trials plan. Get a teammate snipped at the edge of a corner, barricade, revive, push with superpowers if the enemy team doesn't take the chance to collapse fast enough. But, idk, bold

One thing I like about both No Time and Cloudstrike, as far as PVE goes, is that they seem equally capable of killing mobs and also laying into orange and yellow bars
Bith warlock and Titan exotics are looking spicy! That hunter helmet is also looking nice. The exotic hunter arms though look like a waste. He could’ve just thrown it at the dude instead of throwing it off the wall. Weapons look cool all together it’s something I’m looking forward too I thought the hunter was gonna get the shaft (again) but at least we got one good thing. Not so excited for stasis considering, the hunter super is stasis blade barrage nothing really different

The Covid gloves are awesome.
I can see people running those poison gauntlets with thorn, if the poison damage stacks then das crazy. Especially if the ranged melees get the Poison effect

I highly doubt you can teleport through solid objects. That would be broken in game. But it would also be nightmare on Bungies side for people cheesing into areas where they don't want them. I don't think they would give people an item that allowed us to more easily do that.
I'm looking forward to the necrotic grip. If what I'm thinking works then my warlock can be even better at turning ads into mince meat.

Honestly I’m a Hunter main, but have been playing with my ‘lock a lot more recently (see: “Warlocks are dumb”), and the idea of having a portal buddy PLIS a sentient arc soul is... tempting. Glad us Hunters got some “blink” back though, even if it does take up an exotic armor slot.
Bro the Bakris helmet is gonna be so fun in PVP. Run that with a shotgun, 9 second ability cool down, and just ape the whole game

Welp I wasn’t expecting an exotic to spawn portals from alternate timelines but I’ll take it I guess. I can say for a fact that I’m infinitely more excited for beyond light than Shadowkeep. The designs actually look good and it seems very fresh. I’m not expecting much from the story but I really hope it is decent. Will the hobby still be complete ass? Probably. But at least I’ll enjoy it for a few weeks

So I was thinking about it and the best counter to Hunter shift would be that titan overshield. Think about it, the shift takes time. If a titan sees that, they can overshield, survive a SG shot-hopefully- and now the titan has the full advantage. You can deal with a teleport-we do with blink- but you cant counter more health.
PvP is going to be absolute hell this year.

@@orakekileer1552 Yeah but all top exotic for warlock is season 1 all new exotic been really ah nice new toy that it nothing really good not talk about exotic which we get like free now as subclass effect like vector of vesper . there is some kind of potential in necrotic but i see it gonna be super weak that it wont even kill high end reds and wont work with celestial fire in pvp so use gonna be super low level niche things and dawn blade is already low dps super so dps no use burn is notoriously low dmg like always so no hope for that and in pvp neither effect help because its already 1 shot if its hit and close proxy hits like 4 dmg. Not talk about necrotic is melee exotic for the class which some reason have 4-6 melee exotic while class is games worst melee class and in general dont wanna be anywhere close ppl in pve or pvp.
I think the Dawn Chorus will be really good in pve with the burning cells mod.
No one notices but The Lament is an exotic aggressive frame sword, aggressive frame.
Top Tree Dawn + Thorn + Necrotic Grip = Such a beautiful combination
Here's some overkill for ya: Arc soul Stormcaller (bottom) with Getaway Artist gauntlets, No Time to Explain, AND Salvations Grip grenade launcher.
Then how about the. Necrotic Grip gloves with devour Voidwalker, and Thorn, just to add as a gimmick to all the poison spreading, not necessary though.
How are you Fallout? Is rngesus treating you well?
I think Bungie's huge reliance on "proc on kill" mechanics in so, so many of the exotic, weapon, and subclass perks really ruins a lot of the potential the game has in many game modes. I'm glad to see they seem to be moving away from that, at least if this batch of exotics is anything to go by.
I mean, on kills are neat and all, but it's nice to have a good mix of on kill, on hit, on activation, and always on, and so far recent exotics have been a really nice mix of all 4.
Cloudstrike seems like a sniper version of Thunderlord.
