@@senounatsuru6453 I'm honestly excited that they are tuning it as much and as quickly as they are. My tin foil hat says they shipped 5 sec freezes to piss everyone off, so when they dialed it back to 1.5 sec freezes, it would feel amazing by comparison.

Fallout, you missed something.
I've been using the Duskfield nade with the melee for the zone control potential and such, but the ice wall grenade is NASTY when you pair it with the dive. Without any fragments you can throw the grenade and dive into it to kill enemies within 5-6 meters and with a fragment that I don't remember the name rn that range goes up to 8 meters. You can even pair it with Stompees for a better approach from the air.
The dive is one of the most fun things about the new subclass. Its cool how you can move slightly in it as well, or go straight down. If you're really high up you go pretty far fast
Even if it wasn't so effective with the glacier grenade, I'd still love the ability just because it's so fun.
Yeah, don't overlook that highjump with high mobility on the stompies. With a large map like Distant shore, you can cover a crazy amount of distance with that dive. Touch the ceiling and then drop 30meters in whatever direction with damage resistance and a shatter

Agreed, the Glacier grenade/Shatterdive combo seems to be slept on and I think it's seriously strong, especially combined with the fragments which improve shatter damage and range, and grenade recharge when shattering stasis crystals. I've caught enemy players off-guard an amusing number of times by instantly nuking them with the glacier. I prefer this grenade on Revenant for that reason.
has anyone on console at least noticed hitting someone with a double shuriken kinda takes a little before it frezes em?

Yes, I wish that just one would freeze them, slowing down opponents is crap, they can still shoot you.

@@antgonz4436 I'm expecting the new aspect to be able to freeze opponents that are slowed, since hitting a slowed enemy freezes them. Not sure but I hope so. If not, you will be able to Dodge near them, then freeze them with one shuriken
Reya the second aspect is a freezing dodge, so you'll be able to pair that when it comes out, I say this based off of the trailers where a hunters dodge froze enemies
Hunter: actually balanced
Warlock: just.... please
Titan: weakest of the bunch but amazing in mobility

They have more than just one fragment slot, they can spam their aspect ability which DOES damage by itself, they have a shutdown range super, they don't have melee instead have another throwable... and definitely they ARE NOT slow, have the SAME mobility as always.

Not only that, but Bungie hate to Titans is showing giving them just ONE fragment slot in the aspect for the new raid. ffs....
This subclass is surprisingly the only stasis class that actually excels at CC. You actually feel like you can control entire zones as a revenant, while Behemoth feels like a true brawler and Shadebinder can only really control groups of trash.
Such a good quality guide as usual. I’ve not even had time to complete the campaign and get my stasis subclass but I knew my guy Fallout would give me all the info I needed by the time I unlocked it.

For all of my hunters out there, another really effective combo is glacier grenade and whisper of fissures which will increase the shatter damage of a stasis crystal and whisper of shards to get grenade CD each time you shatter a crystal. Pair this with frostee n ur gonna have ur grenade all the time with shatterdive.
In pvp it can one shot ppl even if they're not frozen n in pve u can kill a lot of trash mobs easily.
Frostees is a must i really like the bouncing throwing stars
It's like the exotic was made for stasis

I’ve been paring frostees with Revenant in both pve and pvp since the start of the season. Don’t see many people on console using this combo. It’s still primarily Stompees in pvp.
@@Saint01_Arts I've been rocking frostees and whisper of shards. 5 second grenades and shatterdive is fun.
I personally think it's the best stasis subclass... I've had the most success with Revenant in comp compared to the other stasis subclasses. It's especially satisfying to shut down other stasis supers with Silecence&Squall. The doge is a counter to the coldsnap grenade and it's still the best class ability for when you need it in other situations too. Pairing ace of spades with The Dragon's Shadow gives you instant high damage bullets after a kill with a dodge and max dpdge cooldown as long as wraitmetal mail is active. I've been loving revenant tbh, way more than shadebinder. Got to legend while pushing with revenant, didn't have as much success with shadebinder but that might also be because I don't main a warlock. Maybe if I mastered warlock more shadebinder would be better but still I've been dunking on shadebinders left and right in comp...

@@stasis760 so you need to set your phoenix dive button to single press B, this will also make shatter dive single press B, then you need worldline, tesseract off an edge then press jump and b at the same time

Im a hunter main but I was so disappointed at first when i tried the subclass, so I started to play more with my titan but after watching this video all I want to do is unlock those aspects and se what its all about. Thanks for the detailed explanations!
A lot of my latest ideas have been centered around Shatter Dive, especially now that I have a 4th fragment to increase shatter damage bursts. I hadn't even thought about Frost-EE's but yeah that's definitely a way to go, I was using Dragons Shadow so that I can always have a weapon at the ready and get back my Melee
I use Frostees for pve and I have been using the Dragon Shadow since Beyond Light came out and I absolutly love it for pvp.
Shatterdive also works really well with the icewall or Salvations Grip. Breaking the ice blocks does a ton of damage too and I've seen hunters shatterdive into enemy icewalls and get kills with them because enemies were standing too close.
I would straight up love to be a part of one of these test runs you do, more of out of curiosity to see how you do them 😆
just as a bit of advice, since Silence and Squall doesn't carry your momentum, if you use it to shutdown another super that's relatively close, use your shatterdive to immediately break them. I've gotten so used to doing the shatterdive after supering that it's actually helped me get out of danger and guarantee kills at the same time.

You forgot the Mei wall+shatter dive+whisper of fissures for increased shatter dmg and radius. It's an insta kill if they're around the shattering wall. I prefer it over duskfield cuz after u dive the Mei wall it takes them a few seconds to find where you are again (if they live) which still puts you at an advantage. Blocking off heavy, Lines of sight from a sniper when you're getting flanked, etc, lots of utility.

A good shuriken combo is to use the melee recharging dodge and whatever the armour exotic it is that has double dodge, that gives you a lot of knives

Do you just play with the subclass to get other abilities or is there something special you have to do and for the aspect sockets ? Cuz I've played quite a bit with this subclass but I haven't got anything new to unlock

I actually think the default glacier grenade is the best for hunter IF you wanna take advantage of shatterdive. Pair shatter dive with the fragment whisper of fissures that deals increased damage when shattering crystals and you can kill peeps in pvp with just the burst. After that the fragment can be either increased slow + strength or gain bonus weapon damage after shattering crystals. Depends on what you wanna use really.
Glasier nades work great with shatterdive
I might get this dlc just for the classes and middle tree unlocks
Shatterdive + fragment that reduces grenade cooldown on ice crystal shatter + glacier grenade + frostees and decently high discipline = ultimate neutral game zoning hunter. 10 second grenade cooldown after shattering your grenade while sprinting. I like pairing this with the fragment that increases shatter damage and distance

Ive been using the wall nade and then the fragment that when you shatter it gives you nade cooldown and then i also use the fragment that does increased shatter damage and size.
So i can use the wall and shatterdive to shut down supers easy and especially when behemoth does it crystal slam attack i can just jump in the air shatter dive into their crystals and kill them a large % of the time

I don't use the stomp-ee5 i use the exotic legs that drop a powerfull bomb after the hunter dodge when you freeze enemies and then dodge they insta kill aswell
in PVE any red bar shield or no will die instantly aswell.
Thought I should mention it’s possible to hunter skate on console to especially easy if you have elite controller or scuf

I can't decide if I want to switch to hunter because this is the coolest looking stasis subclass to me and they're shiny and new, or sticking with Warlock because they have my favorite light classes.

Did you retest the twirling? Watching the opening you can see that he actually reflects the squall when you threw it, so it was reflected then not when he ran through it. I feel like it needs to be tested without him twirling first.
Crap! There goes my 'secret' Hunter build. Frost-EE5 is pretty good with Stasis for both pvp and pve. At least until we start getting those new stasis exotic drops.

Glacier grenades combined with the fissure + shard fragments.
I throw one down and instantly slam, and the shatter damage kills any nearby Guardian instantly, or brings them down to very low hp in a very large aoe. It's absurdly broken, and I've gotten entire team wipes in comp consistently
Anteaus Wards can reflect the first ice pick, ill have to test if it can reflect the cold as well

Use bottom true void hunter and u can be unfrozen instantly but after a shot u become frozen again untill the effect is over but u can fire multiple shots so that break the game and I love it

Hey Fallout, can you please make a video on how to obtain the " Warden " seal. I spent hours upon hours of monotonous grinding only for bungie to not even spit and just shove it once I found out that the rest of the seal is time gated behind some BS.
Love the new Stasis. It’s gonna make pvp crazy. So many different ways to play now. The future looks bright again , for one of my all time favorite games. Destiny it keeps updating and fixing and tweaking. Bring back Pocket Infinity!
Hunter, Titan, then Warlock. Ranked from my favorite to my least favorite. Also duskfield not my favorite, I prefer more mobility though I need more practice aiming while moving
Anyone know how to create orbs of power with the Revenant super in PvE? I think you have to get kills with the tornado but it seems to be very inconsistent, especially with how low the tick dmg is. Sometimes you create one or two orbs other times you can get lucky and make five or six.
Just to know, dive gives you damage resistence, that give you a chance to survive some supers, or even inmune it, but its a frame of second that is imposible to be consistent.
how do you get the HUNTER REVENANT subclass?
Strafe jumping away from the duskfeild grenade after initially being pulled in does actually prevent you from being pulled to the middle
I think I will run glacier grenade, gamblers dodge, whisper of Durance, and whisper of shards with frosteez for unlimited ability spam.
The super is great in Gambit. Throwing it when a wave starts gets you a ton of kills, especially in closed-off areas
Not to mention it sticks around after you are sent back to your team when invading. Got 4 kills after being sent back to my team.
Ive been maining frostees on my hunter since the orpheus nerf. The cool downs are hard to give up with another exotic in pve if you dont need celestial.

Just in time for them to nerf the freeze time in PvP from over 4 seconds to just over 1 second.
Yeah, it’s about time. Make it a little bit more balanced. Idk what they were thinking with a 4s freeze time to begin with.
@@theopminer952 No idea, either. It's a welcome nerf, but it certainly makes all "instant freeze" effects and even Shatterdive much weaker. Duskfield's time to shine is now.
AKA: The most balanced of the stasis classes. Titan is arguably the weakest outside of mobility, and warlock is blatantly overpowered.
But titan ability gives u insane mobility compered to any other titan subclasses so titans dont conplain pls

Agreed. Coldsnap and duskfield grenades need to be tuned down, and then warlock melee needs to be tuned down as well. That’s put things in a much better place than they are now
@@parkersavage8774 Duskfield is fine, I think. Pretty easy to avoid and the damage is minimal, outside of breaking free of the freeze.
I would say that titan is a little above balanced, but warlocks is easily the most overpowered of them all. The hunter is the most balanced

I'm surprised nothing was said about the exotic hunter chest that gives you 2 dodges, pair that with the dodge ability in revenant where u refill ur melee if u dodge near enemy and then run high strength build and its unlimited ninja stars!

Sometimes when I use shatter dive I won’t be able to shoot or aim my weapon for a good duration. I’m on Xbox not sure if this happens to anyone else
Good guide, but I have to call out out on one thing: You haven't talked about the fact that you can jump up, throw down a wall grenade and dive down for a immediate kill zone. Have been doing that in pvp and even juked a couple of supers with it.
PVE "Grenade & Super & Pulse rifle" build
Glacier grenade (4-5 crystals) + Shatterdive aspect to insta-shatter crystals
Whisper of Fissures fragment : increases damage & radius of crystal destruction
Whisper of Shards fragment : get Grenade energy when shattering crystals (destroying 4-5 crystals gives 66% of a 2min Grenade gauge)
+
Energy Converter (CWL mod) : when charged with Light, using the grenade grants Super energy. More Light stacks means more Super energy
Swift Charge (CWL mod) : get Light stacks (AND sometimes special ammo for teammates) on rapid kills with Pulse Rifles
Taking Charge (CWL mod) : a Light stack for each orb of Power you collect
+
No Time to Explain with Portal buddy and the catalyst : for a lot of Orbs of Power and unlimited Pulse rifle kills (for even more Light stacks)
Anti-Barrier Pulse rifle mod : NO ONE SHALL BE SAFE
